I have patio doors that run the full width of my house and their replacement represented a significant investment for me. I was nervous about selecting a supplier bu couldn't have chosen anyone better. I was very impressed with the whole team at Acorn Windows; they managed the whole process very smoothly despite my installation being scheduled during the Covid19 lockdown. Everyone I dealt with answered all my questions fully and promptly, and those coming to the house always arrived when they said they would. While I was impressed with all the staff, the team who did the main installation definitely deserve a special mention. They were polite and accommodating, extremely professional and meticulous in their work, and left my room much better finished than when they started. I am delighted with my new doors and with the service provided by Acorn Windows and will not hesitate to use them again if the need arises.

Once again first class work. Was having problem with bedroom window as in I couldn’t close it. Must make fact known it is over twenty years old. Gentleman who came ,despite having to be up a ladder in the rain fixed it and said no charge because he hadn’t used any mater. All I can say is a very big thankyou to Acorn Windows who having giving a great service for over twenty years.

The fitters arrived on time on the agreed date. We were very impressed by the quality of the workmanship and the materials used. Dave and Brett were meticulous and paid attention to every little detail and cleaned up at every stage of the job. We chose Acorn Windows to build our Orangery after seeing the high quality replacement windows they had fitted in a neighbouring property. Due to the pandemic, we decided against project managing the build ourselves, opting instead for a turnkey finish. Planning permission was necessary as we live in a conservation area, so having Acorn recommend an Architect and arrange for a Building Inspector was very helpful. The work of the build team (Tony, Andy and Mick) was fantastic, they always arrived on site when they said they would and we were kept informed at every stage. They all showed great attention to detail and the site was kept immaculately clean throughout the build. All the subcontractors (skip provider, building suppliers, roofers, electrician, plumber and plasterers) were well coordinated which made the work progress very smoothly. The Orangery was completed at the price originally quoted with no hidden extras. Our sincere thanks goes to James and all the Acorn Windows team as the final result has exceeded all our expectations. Although the Orangery is a new extension to a period property, it blends in beautifully due to the complementary rendered finish. We would highly recommend Acorn Windows (Nottingham) and would definitely to use their services again.

We have just had 3 upstairs rooms fitted with uPVC sliding sash windows and a composite door fitted by Acorn. Thank you Matthew and Lewis, you have done a great job and left the house as clean and tidy as when you arrived. Thanks to the office team too, you have kept us fully informed from first contact. This is the third time we have used Acorn and have been absolutely delighted on each occasion.

Our first impression of Acorn Windows as a company was a positive one involving their Director James Hibberts visiting and quoting for the work required. There was no heavy selling but simply a clear outline of the options and leaving us to give thought to what had been discussed. We could possibly have got a lower price elsewhere but following a visit to their showroom we appointed Acorn as we felt the price was fair. We had new windows and both front and rear doors and are delighted with the quality of the product. The operatives Jason and Craig were punctual each day, courteous throughout and worked very hard and were very tidy.It was a pleasure to have them working in our home and they were excellent representatives of Acorn. We would have no hesitation in recommending Acorn .

Acorn windows removed my fragile, dirty stain glass leaded window and cleaned it before encapsulating it in a double glazed unit and fitting it. The communication throughout was excellent ( four visits needed ) and we are delighted with the results.

Following a significant amount of research we chose Acorn to replace our windows and doors. This was based on feedback from other customers and the obvious experience of their salesman and surveyor. At no time were they pushy, which cannot be said of other companies we requested quotes from. Their quote was competitive and we made several revisions which were all captured in the specification. When the installation started it became clear that removing the existing windows was going to be extremely difficult, but at no stage was it suggested that a short cut would be taken. The installation team (father and son) worked incredibly hard to ensure that all aspects of the specification were followed. The quality of work was outstanding. Having read so many stories about double glazing nightmares it was refreshing to have the work completed stress free. Choosing Acorn shows the benefit of choosing a family run company that really care about their customers, I cannot recommend them enough.

With a new front door fitted - I would like to mention the guys who sorted this out. They did a very professional job and were well mannered, helpful, spoke with knowledge/experience and politeness. Going the extra mile to make the customer feel that they are valued. I would highly recommend Acorn Windows, plus the door looks fantastic.

Just had our old kitchen window replaced with a new one from Acorn Windows. Not s straight replacement as we wanted a slightly larger window which involved the removal of one course of bricks. But as usual no job is beyond the capabilities of Acorn Windows and we are delighted with the result. The fitters arrived within their allocated time and were both pleasant and courteous. They worked tirelessly to complete the job which included replacing a double glazed unit in our conservatory. The product is excellent quality and the work was completed to a high standard. Acorn have done an exceptional job replacing the all of the soffits and fascias to our property, along with the jewel in the crown, our newly rendered and boarded front elevation (see photo). Throughout the whole project, James, Mick 1, Mick 2 and the team have been nothing short of exceptional with the quality of work and level of customer care. I've used Acorn for over 20 years now and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for our windows, doors, and building work.

I first used Acorn Windows of Nottingham to replace all soffits & fascias, along with guttering and downpipes. Acorn's Sales were not pushy but had all the right advice - so we proceeded. What a brilliant job they undertook, removing all the old and any debris or working components, leaving us with a clean and fresh site. About one (1) year later, because or the excellent service, our windows were in need of replacement all through (some 14 or so). Again, a good and timely meeting from a non-pushy Sales of Acorn led us to a great quotation (not the cheapest, but the quality was/is outstanding) and we proceeded. Fantastic result and never a problem since, even when we thought we had a blown glass, service was impeccable, as was the door adjustments we have had between winter and summer (some freak of heat making it difficult to open/close at specific times). Finally, this lead us to our all time "want" of a new conservatory. At a size of ~70 cubic metres, and underground drains, this was a mammoth task, or so I thought. The Acorn Surveyor was friendly and very approachable, giving (and taking) advice plus "wants" and "needs" into consideration. All planning matters (due to volume size) were again handled by Acorn. We opted for underground electrics sockets, fans and electric vent windows in our all-glass conservatory, the result - well...outstanding. In fact, Acorn has a 360 view of this on their website - take a look? No issues - nothing to difficult for Acorn!

From the beginning to the end of the whole process, we could not fault their attitude, commitment and professionalism, with the whole work being completed within 4 weeks of placing the order. I used Acorn for a new back door and they did a fantastic job. The staff from start to finish are very friendly and efficient and everything was so easy. Everyone arrived on time, did the job to a very high standard and after it was finished everything was spotless. I can't recommend them enough if you need any of the products that they supply.
