Acorn windows provided an excellent service, repairing structural defects on the house and fitting good looking windows. They were prompt, efficient, friendly and trustworthy at a very competitive price. We would wholeheartedly recommend.

Despite not being local to Nottm (in Derbyshire) we chose Acorn having never used them before. Replaced an entire house of windows, French Doors, bay windows and the price for this high quality of product was largely as expected and very competitive. But the most important thing to note is that the pre sales service and the work of the Acorn Installers was spot on. Professional, smart and in branded workwear, courteous and friendly. And on time, every time! Well done Acorn - I would recommend you to anyone.

Contacted Acorn for a quote to replace our large bay window as we'd previously used them for other windows some 10 years ago. They arranged to visit and quoted really quickly, they were not pushy, and quoted for exactly what we wanted. Their Surveyor who came to do the exact measuring once we'd accepted the quote was friendly and efficient and suggested a minor change to address an issue we had with blind fixings. On the day, the installation team contacted us to advise of a minor delay with their arrival, which was great. When they arrived, they got to work immediately. They were professional and polite, there was no mess at all, they cleaned up as they went, and at the end of the day, we had a beautiful new window which is exactly as we expected. The quality of the window is as high as it could be, the finishing by the fitters is faultless. Their prices are not the cheapest, but they weren't the highest quote we had, and for the quality of the products they supply, we think they provide excellent value for money. Their staff are all friendly, professional and knowledgable. They give you prices and dates and stick to them. We cannot fault it their products or service. We have no hesitation in recommending this company and would use them again without a doubt.

From the moment we walked into the Wollaton showroom and spoke to your very helpful staff to the final fitting of our chosen front door by your courteous fitting team. Everything was carried out very professionally and we were always updated regarding appointment times which were always adhered to . Would not hesitate to recommend Acorn windows to anybody looking at new doors, windows etc.

I required a window to fit in a kitchen remodeling. Despite the small order, every detail of the order was perfect, delivery was on time and communications were timely and helpful. Even when I phoned with a question and my normal contact was out, another team member went above and beyond to find out the answer. Very happy with my double glazing at my flat in West Bridgford. All staff were professional, knowledgeable and friendly.

The work carried out included 10 replacement UPVC window frames/glazing and 1 replacement UPVC door/glazing. We are very pleased with the work which has been carried out. The windows and door have smartened up the appearance of our house markedly, there has been a noticeable reduction in noise intrusion from outside (don’t know about any temperature benefits yet!), and we were happy with the workmanship of the fitting team (Matthew and Lewis), who were courteous and helpful throughout, including resolution of some very minor snagging issues. We have used Acorn many times over the past few years to install doors, windows, a conservatory and a garden room. On each occasion, the work has been of a very high standard and when any remedial work has been required they have attended to it promptly without any quibble. Timekeeping has been very good and on the rare occasion where there was a problem, they let us know of the change well in advance. I would have no hesitation in recommending them, in fact, have done so on many occasions to friends.

From start to finish, the attention to detail, craftsmanship, management and delivery of the project, as well as the final products has been top class. I want to thank the whole team for talking through options and plans, answering questions, coordinating the teams of professionals and delivering the build extension to such a high quality. There was no hard sell at any stage and all delivered in a professional and friendly manner. I have no hesitation in recommending Acorn Windows to others (and indeed already have) and I would readily go back to Acorn in the future.

From the original conversation with James, through every aspect of detail of our new orangery, the removal of our old conservatory and on to the erection of our extension….everything has been simply first class. We initially had Acorn in to replace our windows and doors in 2021 as we felt they had the highest quality product of the quotes we had received. We encountered a few issues but were incredibly impressed with how they resolved everything, with the MD James coming out, going over our concerns, making a plan to resolve them all and waiting until we were fully happy before our final payment. Our doors and windows are excellent and we've had multiple compliments on how well they look with our Victorian house, particularly the composite door. We called them again when we started to consider getting our extension done, James came out a couple of times to go over plans with us, then when we were ready to commit, the quote they provided was the most competitive of the 3 we received, plus we had met the project manager Mick previously and instantly felt in good hands so put a deposit down. Sadly, the plans fell through on the discovery of sewer lines surrounding our house that we couldn't build near. James and Mick were very supportive in discussing solutions and Mick came out to meet our building planner, even opening up the sewer covers to work out what we may or may not be able to do which was incredibly helpful and led us to the decision to sell rather compromise on our plans. Despite us offering to cover both of their times, James was understanding of our situation and fully refunded the deposit. We would use them for any other building work without question. Highly recommend.

Many thanks to all at Acorn for the excellent service. From initial enquiry through survey and fitting, everyone has been extremely professional and prompt. The new door is superb and has made an instant improvement to the sealing and security of the house. It makes me wonder why I didn't get this done sooner!

I had a patio door removed and replaced with a full length triple window which looks great the whole experience from quote to installation was very professional we are highly delighted with the finished window also the price was extremely competitive we would highly recommend Acorn Windows
