We had some lounge and office chairs to dispose of and approached this company as they were local and had excellent reviews. Our phone enquiry was dealt with in a pleasant, business-like way with an early visit booked for an estimate. Both this and the follow-up collection were on time, and the personnel were professional and friendly. They could not have been more helpful and were keen to explain their credentials, including their licence and the disposal destination. The cost was very reasonable and we will be happy to call on their serices again.

The lady who took my initial enquiry was brilliant. Took on board my worries and gave great answers. Arranged for someone to come and quote. He was equally good. The price was cheaper than a skip would have been. Also I didn't have to lift heavy things into the skip. On the day, a man and woman turned up in a truck. Cleared loads of rubbish including a bed settee, took down a pergola. Quick clean and efficient. Polite too. I'd been thinking about hiring a skip but am so glad I used Active Rubbish clearance - they were great.

Really impressed with the speed and care the team took in removing some large pieces of furniture from our property. Due to the nature of our stairwell, some pieces had to be removed over the balcony. The team created a solution that was safe for all involved and took care of the issue. I also appreciated the clear explanation of what was happening with the removal including the legalities involved. From the woman who booked us in to the removal team, everyone was helpful, pleasant, and professional.

Three guys arrived on time, estimated the 12 cubic yards volume and skip cost accurately and worked quietly and efficiently. My 30 years of accumulated household and shed detritus disappeared in an hour; it has saved me many hours of trips to the local waste centre. They left the place clean and tidy at the end. The confidence of the Which? reviews, advised destination of the rubbish and general confidence of the legality of the disposal gave me assurance of a job excellently done.

They visited after I requested a price and gave me an estimate which I accepted. On the agreed day, they turned up early, cleared the considerable amount of rubbish within an hour then cleaned up after themselves. The best part was the final price charged, which was less than the estimate! Can't praise them highly enough, 100% recommend to anyone.

Perfect and professional clearance service within 48hrs of first contact. Reasonable pricing (cheaper than a skip and 3 good men to clear things for you!) and careful adherence to the legal side of things to protect the customer and the clearance company to avoid illegal dumping issues. Every step of the way was courteous and efficient and they tidied up well afterwards. I would definitely use them again.

Great job from start to finish - Graham communicated promptly and clearly. His quote was very fair and he stuck to it despite one or two small changes on my part. They turned up spot on time - cleared the house and cleaned it in one day - involving a team of eight (many of them family - really nice people). They work quickly and quietly and I felt confident having them in the house. Highly recommended!

Graham responded within a day of me contacting Active to arrange clearance of household rubbish and a Flytip outside my back garden fence. The team arrived exactly on time and cleared all of the rubbish within 15 minutes. Prior to the clearance, I was given a price for the collection which was fare. I was subsequently given a waste transfer notice as proof that the waste would be disposed of safely. Like another reviewer, I have never previously been given such documentation. Graham phone me later the same day to check that the rubbish had been removed and if I was happy with the service I received. An excellent company, which I am pleased to recommend. I shall use Active if I need to dispose of any items. I shall recommend them to my neighbours and friends.

Wanted a skip however got a recommendation from a friend for this company, they came in to quote very quickly even though they have being busy during lock down. once they came back to removel all the indoor and outdoor rubbish there were no extra cost. They were cheaper than a skip and I didn't have to move anything I have since recommend this company on to my mother and others due to their polite and professional manner, they also kept to all social distancing guide lines. really like the fact that we received a certificate so we know nothing will get fly tipped. Would 100% use again.
