Chico repaired paint and plaster that were damaged by water in preparation for re-decorating. Following this he repainted the walls after advising on colour schemes. He works quickly, precisely and is a joy to have doing the work. He advises openly and transparently. I would highly recommend him.

Chico decorated the back of our house last summer and did an excellent job for a very reasonable price. Chico carried out some minor repairs to our brick render, the window sills and then repainted it all. 6 months on and it is all still looking fantastic. Chico took such care in his work, paid attention to the details and was a great communicator, before, during and after the job was completed. I would highly recommend him.

Chico was recommended to us by friends. We'd had to have our upstairs carpets removed due to a moth infestation, and because we are planning to have further work done at home it was suggested that we don't replace the carpets until that is finished. So, because the exposed floorboards were so ugly, and not in a smooth or safe enough state to walk on without footwear, we decided to get the floors painted white as a temporary measure. When Chico came to assess the job, we were instantly comfortable with him. Friendly, chatty and knowledgeable, he suggested ways of reasonably keeping the cost down, and in the following days responded very quickly to calls, emails etc. His quote was very fair, and we also asked him if he would be prepared to 'make good' on the rather poor job the carpet removers had done - leaving staples and chunks of underlay stuck in the floor etc. With this factored in, he said the job would take 2 days, and duly began work about a week later as promised. There's not much more to say other than Chico did a brilliant and thorough job, all on time and on budget. The floors and stairs are now neither an eyesore nor a safety hazard, which has been a huge relief to us after several weeks of treading very carefully! Thank you, Chico.

I found Chico on this website and he's the best decorator I have ever used. His rates are reasonable and his estimate was accurate in terms of price and time taken, so no nasty surprises. He was efficient and tidy and his attention to detail is exceptional: the finishes he obtained really are top drawer. He has a great little system for ensuring that you're happy with everything. Plus he's a really nice guy and a pleasure to have around!
