My family and I wanted the flooring in our bathroom changed, none of us have a condition which require safety flooring (touch wood, haha) but we really liked the way the flooring looks and feels, and the anti slip is amongst the best in vinyl flooring. Also, because our bathroom is upstairs we wanted to use the cap?n?cove method of laying the floor to prevent leakage. I looked around many companies, big and small, to complete this work. Most of them didn?t even bother to show up and the ones that did would raise issues and complain about the work involved, and would tell us to arrange plumbing through their own people and when we asked if they could arrange it all for us they would moan and say no. This was until I found agecare, with a quick email, they replied on the same day with a guide on what they would do as well as an approximate price for the work. They also said that waste and repair jobs were included. When the gentleman came to our house for the survey, he advised us on what the best thing was to do and in which order to do them. He was kind and explained everything to us simply. We asked him if he can replace our toilet and without whining he said yes they can get it done for us. We then communicated with a lady called Mollie, who was exceptional, she had great customer service skills and replied within the same day of emailing. On fitting day, our fitter Owen was a pleasure to work with, he was professional and guided us on what he was going to do and explained what needed to be done with the floor to utilise the flooring best and to prevent water overflow, at no additional cost he used levelling latex to fix the slant on the floor, he said this was necessary to stop water move to the door, which was an issue we were having in the past. He stayed over to make sure the bathroom was in a usable condition and came back the next day to add the finishing touches. Honestly the service from start to finish was exceptional, everyone we came into contact with was kind and helped us with any queries we had. I will add that we needed to postpone the work for a few weeks to get other building work sorted and without issue mollie kept the original quote and said it was fine and to let them know when we were ready. The main thing with us is having a service which is sort of an all in one deal, not having the hassle of contacting multiple people and coordinating times and fitting is pain and hassle so we really appreciate when a company can handle it all for us, even if it costs a bit more, it?s the peace of mind that matters the most to us. I would highly recommend anyone that?s planning on using safety flooring or has disabled relatives and requires specialists. Please contact me on the email I provided if you need to reword or edit this, I don?t usually write long reviews but for agecare I really wanted to show how much I appreciated the work they did
