I’d contacted a couple of local firms after my boiler are provider let me down following a boiler. A couple didn’t return my calls and another was busy for a few days. I had no hot water and heating so Andy kindly agreed to attend my property and check the boiler on the day I rang. Whilst the boiler was beyond repair he quoted me for a good quality boiler and some associated work within a day of attending which I was really impressed with. His team replaced the boiler the following week and everything was completed to a high standard. Excellent and honest response and I would highly recommend.

My boiler was blowing fuses and started failing during the coldest snap of the year on Monday 6th January. I changed the fuse a few times in the boiler spur, but something was clearly very wrong. I emailed AGW on Monday via their web contact page. I got a telephone call within 3 hours which I was super impressed with and a visit from Tim and Andy the same afternoon to look at a solution. They offered me a cheap fix which would have tided us over for a while, without being too expensive. I decided however that I'd like to have the boiler replaced as it was 15 years old. We also discussed the suitability of an air source heat pump, but the microbore pipework didn't lend itself well to such, so opted for an efficient gas boiler instead. Work was booked in for the Friday, however, Andy went the extra mile and came midweek to fit a new immersion element into our boiler to get us some hot water. The old immersion wasn't working at all and we had cold water AND a cold house until he replaced that. The new boiler was fitted as per being booked in on the Friday and there were three engineers on site all working throughout the day. They did a great job and were highly professional throughout, I couldn't ask for a nicer bunch of guys. A slight issue cropped up where the boiler errored on Saturday morning. Tim came within an hour and sorted it; the condensate pipe was blocked likely due to food build up in the kitchen sink drain, so my fault! Fixed in 5 mins! I'm a super happy customer.

After the initial phone call a very early date was agreed upon to supply and fit a new Combi Boiler . The fitter arrived on time with all the necessary tools to complete the job . The job was completed in the allotted time with all the area left clean and tidy . A small problem occurred a few days after fitting but that was sorted the day that it was identified . So very happy with the whole experience .

Fitted a new boiler at short notice as British Gas let me down on a repair to old boiler. Excellent service, very knowledgeable as boiler needed to be moved, fitted boiler in one day, very clean and tidy workmanship.

From the start, it was a pleasure working with Andy and his reliable team. Andy used his considerable experience to offer thoughtful advice. It was easy to see this was excellent and we followed it fully despite not having worked with the materials suggested before. Tim and Connor were polite and thorough. We were happy to have them around our home as we lived in it too. There were some supply issues which delayed the completion of our modest project but we are very pleased with the finished product. Boiler condemned on Monday. These guys fitted (and relocated) a new boiler 3 days later, along with upgrading pipework. Courteous, tidy and competitively priced. Will always use them from now on for all my heating and plumbing needs. Just book them!

I am absolutely delighted with the refurbishment of my en-suite. Andy was extremely helpful with the planning and selection of fittings, all I had to do was choose the paint colour. Tim and team did a magnificent job; they were professional and obviously experienced with all the tasks involved. All rubbish was removed leaving my house spick and span. I have no hesitation in recommending AGW; it’s a great company.

Andy and Tim are top-notch bathroom and kitchen renovators. This is the 6th big job (kitchens and bathrooms) they have done for me over the past 20 years. I always use them because of the high quality of the design, the recommendations about materials, the high standard of workmanship and finish, as well as the fact that they are so clean and tidy during the job, and they both are very friendly and pleasant personalities. For this job, despite always being busy, they fitted my job in due to my need to have a walk-in shower fitted prior to a hip replacement operation. They removed the old tiling, bath and flooring, and installed a full-length shower tray and screen, shower and controls, grab rails and fully shower boarded the room with new flooring, re-installing the vanity and toilet, leaving the shower room completely transformed from the original 12-year-old bathroom. I now have a fully functional, clean and modern shower room that fits in with the rest of the decor in my modern apartment. I am so happy with the final result. All of the work was completed on time and on budget, and no problems were encountered, if there were, they solved them. Andy and Tim work as a wonderful team, they are both really helpful, left my apartment clean and tidy at the end of each day's work, kept me updated about the work, what would happen the next day, removed all of the rubbish and contacted me after completion, to see how I was enjoying my new bathroom. 5 stars, brilliant.

Many thanks to Andy and Tim who on short notice replaced our very old (35+ years) failing boiler. Excellent and efficient service from start to finish of the job. Very pleased and the new boiler is a significant improvement over the old one. Couldn't recommend these guys enough.

It started well and stayed that way - Andy was there to see the work start and then left his 'experts' to get on with it. I've never seen such well turned out fitters before - and their work was all done in a calm and measured way - very reassuring. They even had the bandwidth to apply their skills to resolve a domestic emergency which unfolded while they were on site - thanks lads. And those of us that appreciate neat pipe soldering were treated to a masterclass. There was little trace of them having been in the house, when they left - aside from a lovely new boiler. Just as well as that's what we were expecting. AGW a firm recommendation then.

Andy and Tim have done an excellent job replacing my old Potterton boiler and Boilermate tank with a much more efficient and controllable system and it only took 2 days, as Andy said it would. I'm really pleased with it all and they were a pleasure to have in the house. Not only were they very efficient and cheerful but also very mindful of lockdown safety. They're a great team and I've already been recommending them to friends.

1) as part of a house extension we needed to replace an existing boiler. Andy provided very professional advice on the replacement, then worked in close collaboration with the builders to install the new one while extensive building work was ongoing. At the same time, he put in place preparation work for later stages, there was very little disruption and it was a beautifully neat job. 2) At a later stage, Andy and Tim installed the new bathroom items. I was particularly impressed by their attention to detail, a glass basin unit I had sourced separately was found to have minor faults but they strongly advised me to get replacements - four separate replacements before a good one. This is the sort of advice I needed but would not have had such a good result without their encouragement. They advised on design features, installed shower tray, cubicle and radiator, laid the floor, organised wall tiling and finished really nicely. The final result is simply superb. 3) During the building works, a long-standing problem with odour in a separate downstairs cloakroom was finally tackled. This required taking up an existing ceramic tiled floor (the reason it was long-standing), identifying the problem (cracked drain), repairing the broken part, then re-laying a new floor and fully reinstating the cloakroom, as well as installing a new stopcock (original would not turn). In summary, Andy, Tim and team have been very efficient and impressive and I would recommend AGW to anyone.
