Andy and Tim have done an excellent job replacing my old Potterton boiler and Boilermate tank with a much more efficient and controllable system and it only took 2 days, as Andy said it would. I'm really pleased with it all and they were a pleasure to have in the house. Not only were they very efficient and cheerful but also very mindful of lockdown safety. They're a great team and I've already been recommending them to friends.

1) as part of a house extension we needed to replace an existing boiler. Andy provided very professional advice on the replacement, then worked in close collaboration with the builders to install the new one while extensive building work was ongoing. At the same time, he put in place preparation work for later stages, there was very little disruption and it was a beautifully neat job. 2) At a later stage, Andy and Tim installed the new bathroom items. I was particularly impressed by their attention to detail, a glass basin unit I had sourced separately was found to have minor faults but they strongly advised me to get replacements - four separate replacements before a good one. This is the sort of advice I needed but would not have had such a good result without their encouragement. They advised on design features, installed shower tray, cubicle and radiator, laid the floor, organised wall tiling and finished really nicely. The final result is simply superb. 3) During the building works, a long-standing problem with odour in a separate downstairs cloakroom was finally tackled. This required taking up an existing ceramic tiled floor (the reason it was long-standing), identifying the problem (cracked drain), repairing the broken part, then re-laying a new floor and fully reinstating the cloakroom, as well as installing a new stopcock (original would not turn). In summary, Andy, Tim and team have been very efficient and impressive and I would recommend AGW to anyone.

Job done quickly, cleanly and within the estimate. Fully explained controls, what to look out for and guarantee details. Assured a revisit in the unlikely event of problems.

I cannot recommend Andy highly enough. Sorted our central heating and hot water problems out, before spending time giving us advice on boiler replacement or repair on the 13th of February 2023. We went for a replacement. Received his quotation on the evening of the 13th. We made an appointment for Monday 20th. Andy and his mate arrived at 0800 and fitted a new boiler. By 16.00 they had gone having cleaned up, pressure tested the system and given us working instructions. They had removed the old boiler, Hoovered, and left no rubbish at all. The only evidence of them ever being here was a new boiler. After some "plumber" experiences over the last few years. Andy is a revelation. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you to Andy & Tim for prompt service from quote to installation in just a few weeks, a new Worcester Bosch boiler ordered (be aware lead time for quality boiler like WB are increasing). Tim installed the boiler in less than a day with very tidy workmanship. Had a few IT niggles with the app based Bosch controller which Tim popped back at very short notice to fix. Tim and team removed a 30 year old plus Baxi boiler from the kitchen and tanks from the loft and replaced with a Worcester Bosch 8000 Style Combi relocated to a walk-in cupboard on landing. This required a new 28mm gas supply pipe and a flue through the roof. They also installed the Bosch EasyControl system and Smart Thermostats to each radiator. An excellent experience throughout and a good team on the job that you can feel very comfortable with in your home. This is the second boiler installation AGW have completed for our family (at different locations) in the space of a month and we are very pleased with both and can highly recommend them to others, with absolute confidence. All work was completed to a very high standard and on time. We felt the cost of both to be very good value for money.

We have used Andy for our heating and plumbing needs for over 12 years and always find the quality of the service outstanding. Ben and Tim came to us this time, they installed and commissioned a new boiler and also replaced a built in shower. I had my cloakroom refitted by AGW in July and was very pleased with the result. Andy came up with some good ideas to fit the space, with the emphasis being on quality. Everything was installed to a high standard by Tim, who is clearly very competent and experienced. I soon learnt to trust his judgement and he left the room looking very smart and presentable. I was very impressed with AGW when I had a boiler problem, Andy was able to fit me in very quickly and sorted it out (blocked condenser), and then when I had a leak from the waste pipe, Tim came and did a great job with the repiping and also gave me very helpful advice. Would definitely use again.

Andy, Tim and Stewart designed and installed a new bathroom for me which included removing all the old fixtures and fittings including the bath and replaced with walk-in shower, furniture and flooring all to a very high standard. Following a recent boiler upgrade, we now wanted to improve on both the look and efficiency of existing 30-year-old plus, radiators. We knew roughly the style we wanted so with Andy's help to make sure they were of the right size and specification for our system, we booked an installation date. Tim and Ben did the work to a very high standard and we are very satisfied with the outcome. Installation was carried out with minimum fuss and completed on the day arranged. Great work by AGW! The old boiler and radiators were taken away, and new ones were fitted. New water pipes, gas pipes and vents. Tim and Ben did a great job, and our house is much warmer than before.
