Andy came out on this day to respond to our call. He arrived when he said he would, removed the gas fire from the chimney, rescued the bird and replaced recommissioned fire. Fully checked it out before leaving. 45 mins in total.

I found Andy on this site and am glad I did. He responded amazingly quickly to my 'emergency' call-out to fix a non-working Greenstar boiler and identified the fault (blocked condensate outlet) immediately. And he gave a lot of sound advice on how to avoid a repeat experience. Not least of course to have the boiler serviced regularly. He will get my businees in future because his charges are reasonable and he gives confidence that he will do the work properly (unlike, seemingly, the last - Bristol based - CH 'engineer' employed to give my boiler a service!).

Really pleased with the work done by Tim & Ryan which involved moving my boiler. Tim explained everything he was doing, I had made a couple of requests and he explained what he would to achieve this. Both of them were professional and friendly, great to see a local company taking on and training an apprentice (Ryan). Andrew easy to deal with, responded quickly with quote and start date once I agreed.

It's now been a fortnight since our new boiler was fitted and it's performing better than expected. AGW provided excellent service throughout the process when our existing boiler broke down after a botched repair by another plumber. Broke down on the Wednesday evening called AGW on the Thursday quote on the Friday, placed order on the Sunday, boiler sourced on the Monday, Installed on the Wednesday. What can be better than that. Andy and Tim are the A team, a quality bit of pluming.

Quick response to quote for removal of old CH system and replace with Worcester combi boiler. Work completed in 2 days to our complete satisfaction. The engineer worked really hard, felt complete confidence in him, all the rubbish was removed and the house left clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend.

In my hour of need, I called Andy for an estimate. He responded quickly and called within the same day. Later he sent me an e-mail with an estimate. He offered to fit a replacement within 48 hrs. Two days later at 8am both he and Ben arrived. At the same time, the delivery van arrived with the ordered boiler and parts required. Having not much room for two men to work he left me in Ben’s very capable hands. Ben worked tidily and efficiently to carry out the work completing and testing the work just before 5 o’clock the same day. I would thoroughly recommend AGW and his team to anyone. Having worked myself in the same industry I recognised the true professional way everything was done.

Our boiler gave out during a cold snap. Andy was very responsive and even though he had commitments he managed to come and check our boiler on the same day of contact. He managed to secure a new boiler very quickly and we agreed a reasonable price before the works started, the boiler was fitted the next day. Both Andy and Tim - the engineer who fitted the boiler - were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I will definitely be using them in the future for all our gas and plumbing needs. Andy and Tim have done several jobs for us over the last 12 years, including fitting a new boiler. On this occasion we had been experiencing problems with our heating not switching off. A faulty part was identified and ordered, and a date made for replacement. In the meantime our hot water failed as a result of the same faulty part, so the appointment was brought forward and fixed quickly. Andy and Tim always keep appointments, carry out the agreed work, and leave the areas clean and tidy. We trust them to prioritise their workload so as to rank the importance of individual customer jobs.

Andy has done a variety of work for us over nearly 10 years. Bathroom, En suite, kitchen remodel and plumbing including a new boiler. Has a can do approach and is up to date with the latest developments in his field. One of his great strengths is an eye for designing installations. He is able to suggest ways of achieving the desired outcome that perhaps had not been considered. It’s always been a pleasure to deal with him, Tim and also now Ben.

From start to finish Andy and his team were excellent in quoting, delivering and installing to a high standard. We have used AGW Gas many times previously and always been very satisfied with the service offered, whether it is servicing the boiler, troubleshooting or replacing. On this occasion his team of two arrived promptly as scheduled at 8am, and had completed by mid-afternoon, leaving the area tidy, and the system fully programmed so I didn't have to worry about sorting this out. Andy replaced our 21 year old boiler with combo boiler and fitted some new radiators. He was prompt in providing a quotation and provided a full explanation of what was involved. The work was completed on time and within the budget. Andy is articulate and we were very impressed with the quality workmanship and was tidy when doing the work. Overall it was a good experience throughout the whole process and was impressed with Andy's professionalism.
