Andy and his team have been looking after my rental property for years in terms of plumbing requirements and I recently had central heating and bathroom modifications completed in my own house which I asked Andy to do. The service, professionalism and competency of Andy and team are absolutely first class. Andy undertook a site survey on the same day I contacted him about the recent work and less than one week later the team was sorting all of my plumbing modifications to adapt my existing house to a rear extension, plus installation of 7 radiators, all in half a day. Right from my first enquiry Andy was really helpful. I needed a new boiler and was struggling to decide but he took the time to explain what I needed to know to make my decision. The new boiler was fitted yesterday by Andy and Tim who did a great job. They are both very friendly but still professional and took care to leave everything clean and tidy. My son recently moved into his first property. In typical fashion the old boiler in there decided to pack up and he has had no water or heating for 10 days. Other local plumbers we knew of or who had been recommended to us let us down by not even bothering to return our calls. Having read the list of Which Trusted Traders I decided to call AGW, and I’m so glad I did. My first call, in a real state of desperation, was on Monday afternoon. Andy was courteous and informative and after our conversation and my providing photographs he advised me the best way to sort the problem. I was provided with a detailed quote that I was more than happy with on Tuesday and a call on Wednesday confirmed that a new boiler had been sourced and would be fitted on Thursday. 4 days! Tim turned up promptly on Thursday and worked tidily and demonstrated great expertise, all the while observing social distancing but more than happy to keep us informed of what he was doing. On completion of the installation he took the trouble to explain the boiler and programming controls. Leaving us with the reassurance we could call if we needed any help. Andy also turned up for a short while during the morning to check everything was going ok and we were happy. I have no hesitation in recommending AGW Gas & Plumbing to anybody. They will certainly be my first call for boiler servicing and any other plumbing matters.

AGW fitted a new boiler, replaced valves on the water tank, drained and refilled the radiators, and left my house tidier than when they started. I originally discussed options with Andy who went through the options in detail. Following agreement Andy sent through the quote quickly. A very reasonable quote! Tim arrived on the agreed day and was shortly joined by Stuart. Tim did the majority of the technical work, ensuring I was informed of what he was doing, and why. At one point he drew a picture so I could better understand, without me asking. Tim appeared unfazed when he had to ask Stuart to pick up more, unforeseen parts. He carefully explained fittings and legislation when doing his work in response to copious questions from me. Tim also explained when he was going to do some noisy work (he knew I was working from home). I've used AGW for some years, having received a personal recommendation from a friend. And I'm really glad they were recommended to me. I am really pleased with the work that Andy and Tim have completed over the years. And the new boiler that they've now installed (and previously the fireplace and all remedial work that they've done over the years). And at a great price. Always with a smile, good humour, and professional conversation. Highly recommended.

We asked Andy to quote for a new boiler. Within the week he had visited, agreed the boiler we needed (a Worcester as recommended by Which) and provided a quotation. Andy's quotation included a comprehensive list of work required and, based on an on-line search, was competitive with other suppliers. The boiler was supplied and fitted on budget and within a month of our initial enquiry. The team that fitted the boiler turned up exactly on time, were friendly and efficient, completed the work within the time they estimated, explained how everything worked and left the kitchen clean and tidy - taking the old boiler, packaging and debris away with them. Andy and Tim turned up to complete a boiler install but also move the new boiler downstairs. They were very thorough and kept us informed of what they were doing at all times. Boiler went pop just as the snow arrived made one enquiry and within no time at all an appointment was made. Great clear prompt communication throughout. Assessment made and solutions implemented in no time at all. Amazing knowledge and experience. Can not recommend highly enough. Problem solved and to top it all off great value. This company found clever solutions to deliver all the requirements we had for a new shower room/cloakroom in a very very small space. They worked promptly and to budget and were considerate and tidy. We now have an amazing shower room/cloakroom. We would call on AGW again and are happy to recommend them.

Andrew and his team acted professionally throughout... from initial contact to completion. The price paid was the price on the initial quote. They even replaced pipework to an outside tap as it looked unsightly, with no extra charge. The new boiler was moved to a new location with minimal fuss. The team were considerate of their surroundings and cleared up after themselves. I wouldn't hesitate to engage their services again and would recommend them highly to others.

AGW GAS LTD have been brilliant. The first call was a water leak on a Saturday at 5 pm AGW came within 10 minutes of my call, dashed to obtain parts and the leak was stopped. Second visit to replace taps, and toilet seats and click and release type sink waste system. Perfect again, clean and completed quickly. Last week our old boiler died. I rang AGW they came the next morning, the boiler had been ordered, was delivered by 10 am and fitted that very afternoon. I cannot recommend it more highly, and the price was much better than I envisaged. A very hardworking, honest and thorough plumber.

We had a new Worcester Bosch gas boiler installed. (We hadn't used AGW before, but were attracted by their customer reviews). Their advice and quote was comprehensive and speedy. The installers did an excellent job, were polite and provided a good walk through the controls. In fact the whole process was hassle free from start to finish! I would have no hesitation in recommending AGW.

Always had prompt and reliable service from Andy and Tim, whether it is installing and servicing a new boiler or removing a broken dishwasher and installing a new replacement.

AGW replaced our old combi boiler and moved a radiator in one of our bedrooms. Andy visited to quote and emailed the quote later the same day.
