I recently came downstairs to find my old Potterton boiler leaking water. I immediately phoned this company, who attended within the hour to assess the problem and make the appliance safe. A new boiler was required and I received an estimate the following day for the work required, which I accepted. A new condensing boiler was fitted within 48 hours. The fitters were hard-working, polite, and tidy workers who disposed of the rubbish after finishing the job. I have no hesitation in recommending AGW Gas & Plumbers.

AGW have modernized and refitted 3 bathrooms for us, fitted a number of new radiators throughout the house and replaced our gas boiler, hot water cylinder and all valves and the pump. All their work was completed on budget and on time with zero mess left behind. An excellent company with a top team of professionals.

Andy and Tim are very knowledgeable and experienced. We were having an urgent replacement of a 23 year old Potterton gas boiler by the latest Worcester-Bosch. We'd had an earlier quote by a well known local rival, but were not impressed by his method. Andy's quote was higher than his, but justified by his advice for a higher power model of the boiler, a replacement of the pump, etc. -- and why. Andy sticks to his quote and his thorough list of what he will do, whereas the other man expected us to sign a legal document with a long list of legal clauses, after a very vague list of what he was going to do. The whole complex job was started at 8am and was done by 4.30pm. Not cheap, but good value.

Our Boiler finally gave out during recent cold weather on a January Sunday evening, on phoning AGW, our normal boiler service engineer first thing Monday, they arrived by 11.30am and managed to get the boiler operating again, but confirmed that the boiler was on its last legs. We had been informed about this likely situation during it’s annual service some three months previously. A full quotation for a new Worcester boiler was sent to us within two days, which was accepted as it was very competitively priced.The installation was carried out in one day, on a date that suited us, and also with nothing for us to clean or clear away. The New Boiler is a great improvement, and almost silent. AGW are extremely pleasant to deal and very efficient, we would not hesitate it recommending them.

Had a new boiler installed. Tim arrived on time and worked cleanly and respectfully throughout the day. Answered all my questions thoughtfully and with understanding. Thoroughly cleaned up afterwards, removed all rubbish and old boiler and left my home as he found it. Warranty registration documents and building regs certificate have arrived promptly. I found Andy on this site and am glad I did. He responded amazingly quickly to my 'emergency' call-out to fix a non-working Greenstar boiler and identified the fault (blocked condensate outlet) immediately. And he gave a lot of sound advice on how to avoid a repeat experience. Not least of course to have the boiler serviced regularly. He will get my businees in future because his charges are reasonable and he gives confidence that he will do the work properly (unlike, seemingly, the last - Bristol based - CH 'engineer' employed to give my boiler a service!).

All completed by Andy and his crew to an excellent standard and very quickly. A great team to have working for you. Would highly recommend if you want a large or small job done properly and quickly.
