Contacted Paul at AHL Locksmiths to get some maintenance on a rear double glazed door lock that did not feel right when it was being locked. Paul attended promptly at the time and date agreed, reviewed the state of the lock, and explained what needed to be done to repair it. We agreed, and then Paul got on and did the work. We now have a new, smoothly operating, more secure lock to our back door, which we are very happy with. Thank you Paul.

Paul fixed the lock to a security gate which had jammed shut. Really pleasant and straightforward to deal with. He was in / out of my flat in 15 minutes with the problem resolved.

High security Yale lock jammed in locked position. Arrived on time, opened the lock, fitted replacement, tidied up, explained throughout what needed doing and why and what it would cost, and how to maintain the new lock in good condition. All done to high standard. Local, long established business. Thought overall price was reasonable.

Not having used them for over a decade, we had misplaced all the keys to the two (SoldSecure Gold) D-locks that secured our bike shed, and it was also obvious that our ancient front door lock also needed attention. I found Paul through WTT. He promised to come round & sort them all out & quoted a fair price so we arranged a time a few days later. He rang on the day to confirm & to warn us that he’d been held up on the previous job and might be 30minutes late. He wasn’t, as it turned out, but it was reassuring to be forewarned. It took him about 30 seconds each to cut off the bike locks (😳) & he gave us some options for the front door lock. We took the cheapest and quickest, which was perfectly adequate, & took him about 30 mins. All expertly and neatly done. Absolutely no complaints. Top man, and nice with it. I’d be very happy to have him back.
