Tony diagnosed and fixed faults with our extract hood and a couple of sets of spotlights in our kitchen, answered all my questions patiently and offered good advice on LEDs (and possible savings). We wanted some lighting work done in our bedroom and he gave us a few sensible solutions and quotes. He accommodated us at short notice though he was booked out, and gave us a reasonable quote upfront on the phone which was nice of him. I'd stick to him for any future electrical work and have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

We needed some preparatory electrical work done before a new kitchen was installed. We weren't sure if the house needed rewiring so initially Tony did a written report (he gave 2 options for this, at different costs, and explained what each entailed) and said rewiring wasn't necessary. He then installed some updates to our wiring (improved earthing etc) and installed a new circuit for the new oven. He spoke to the kitchen installers about what they would need or like him to do before they started their work, and gave an additional estimate with a detailed breakdown, explaining what part of the work he would normally expect them to do and include in their costs. Overall our experience could not have been better - he accurately estimated the time he'd need to do the work, broke down the estimate so we could decide if we wanted every item completed, turned up when he said he would, answered emails promptly, worked tidily and with only (or less than) the disruption he had said would be necessary, and cleared up properly afterwards. He also explained very clearly what work he had done and why, and advised free of charge on such things as the pros and cons of types of kitchen lights. He stuck to his estimate.

We needed a ceiling light wall switch replacing and transformers in our ceiling spotlights replacing. Mr Byrne was able to fix them quickly and efficiently and at a fair price. He also quoted for lighting improvements which was very useful. Great service! Would recommend to others.

Cannot recommend Tony highly enough. Have recently had my kitchen re-fitted and Tony carried out all the electrical works, which involved the installation of a new fuseboard, electrical works for a new light in the ceiling, electrical point for electric oven and numerous socket moves and removals. It was all done to the agreed schedule and budget. Tony is super friendly, helpful, reliable and always responds to messages promptly. Despite a lot of messy work, the kitchen was always left in a tidy state at the end of the day. Excellent workmanship. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Great electrician. Great guy. Dependable, arrives on time. Doesn’t leave until everything is finished and the customer is happy. Rang us up after a few days to make sure we had no problems. First time I have ever given a review. Can’t recommend Tony highly enough. His after sales service is excellent as well.

Tony helpfully rearranged the date for installing a completely new consumer unit until it was warm enough to have the power off all day so that we weren't going to get cold. It was a long day's work, immaculately completed. Tony explained clearly what he needed to do - and kept us in touch throughout the day. Some unexpected problems arose, which meant that he spent much longer than he had anticipated, but his invoice kept to the amount estimated. I would recommend Tony without hesitation - and have done so.
