I've used AJOB for many jobs in the past few years, including a new house alarm system, CCTV, EV charger installation, light fittings, and new sockets. The most recent job was removing a couple of high places sockets but also installing new smoke detectors in the house. No matter how big or small the job, Anthony and the team are always willing to help. Anthony is extremely efficient, knowledgeable and takes you through all the products with the utmost detail. His work is superb, extremely tidy and very professional. They've always been quick to help anytime I've encountered an issue (changed wi-fi provider and struggled to update a few of our products), coming out when needed or talking me through exactly what I need to do. I cannot recommend it highly enough, very reasonably priced for an extremely high level of professionalism and expertise.

The electrical armoured cable was installed under my patio and under the kitchen floor and then connected to the domestic consumer unit. This was carried by Tony with a high level of professionalism. The work was carried out with total professionalism from start to finish. Anthony carried out all the work himself so you had continuity. When things didn’t go to plan because other contractors let me down, he just took it in his stride and rescheduled. The work was of a very high standard. Communication regarding impending arrival was semiautomated and very useful. His backup team in the office was also very professional. Completely satisfied with the work overall.

AJOB Electrical Ltd. We had our house fully rewired by Anthony, whose work was excellent. He is a lovely man, friendly, but also very professional. He came promptly each day and worked practically non-stop throughout the day (very hard worker). Each day, he thoroughly cleaned and tidied up, before going home. His work is a very high standard. We would not hesitate, to highly recommend his business to anyone needing electrical work. 10 out of 10 for excellence.

EICR report - paid but no report received

Anthony carried out an inspection for an EICR report on 9th March. I paid for half of it up front. My initial impressions were positive and I asked Anthony to quote me for any remedial work that would need doing. It's now 7 weeks on and I still have not received the report. I chased it after a month and Anthony said he'd had an accident and then been unwell. It would have been nice if I'd been proactively informed of this rather than having to chase. He said I'd receive the report in the coming days- that was two weeks ago and still no report. I appreciate that unexpected things come up. I only ask that as a customer that I'm kept informed. As it stands now, I feel like I've been ripped off as I'm out of pocket. My last email has gone unanswered. I'm also inconvenienced as I can't progress with my other renovation works without knowing what needs doing with the electrics.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, and I’m genuinely sorry again for the delay you experienced back in 2022. At the time, I was dealing with some unexpected personal and family issues which unfortunately affected the speed at which I was able to deliver reports — this is not typical of the service I aim to provide. I completely understand your frustration, especially as you were relying on the EICR report to move forward with your renovation plans. While I’m glad we were eventually able to provide the report and did not charge the remaining balance, I fully accept that the communication should have been better throughout. Since then, I’ve made changes to how we manage reports and customer updates to ensure we stay on top of our commitments even when unexpected issues arise. Thank you again for your honesty — your feedback helped me improve how I run the business going forward.

I contacted the electrician after finding him on Which Trusted Traders. He called first thing the following morning. Located 3 separate unconnected faults and fixed them in an hour. He was well equipped, clearly experienced and got straight on with the job, clearly explained what he found and how he fixed it. Great job. Polite friendly and helpful.

A thorough survey was done, including some helpful suggestions as to our best plan of action. The detailed estimate showed exactly what was needed and itemised the cost involved. A date for the work to be done was arranged and he arrived on the dot. I was told what order things were to be done in and the work was started. This man was a proper craftsman. He worked quietly and neatly. We would not have known he was there except for the occasional drilling. The burglar alarm system was completed on the first day and various electrical fittings modernised on day 2. Sheets were laid down and quite honestly the place was neater after he completed the work than before. He actually added a few jobs that he found were necessary and did not charge for them. On a personal level he was a very knowledgeable and skilful man who was excellent at his job. We are very pleased with the work we had done and have no hesitation in recommending Ajob Electrical.

We used Anthony for upgrading our old consumer unit, new oven and induction hob circuits, installation of ducting for our kitchen hob extractor and various new sockets and switches with second fix upgrades. The whole process from quote to completion was handled professionally and we were kept up to date at all times. Our home was treated with care and respect, Anthony was not only knowledgeable and trustworthy but also kept to schedule. His rates were competitive and he offered great solutions to our problems, he did not try to drive up costs and always did what was best for our interests and lifestyle. We were pleasantly surprised by his paperwork and payment gateway, everything was digital, which amplified our trust in his service almost immediately. He is very organised and not pushy, we felt like we were in control and as this is our first home, it was a nice feeling. We would, and have recommended him to everyone we know! Thank you Anthony! Anthony installed a hard wired fire alarm system, additional sockets and work on ring main. Very happy with completed job. I was anticipating damage to walls from chasing in wiring but he did in a way that caused no damage. Polite, professional, work done to high standard, kept to schedule and cleaned up all mess from work done. Would definitely recommend.

Tony has worked for us a few times now, in our old house he did a complete check on the house electrics for the sale of the property. He worked fast as the sale nearly fell through because of this. Then in our new house he has fixed the many random electrical things which are strange! All fast & for a great price.
