Replaced our very old boiler that wasn't installed well initially. He did it all brilliantly - very fast and left the area cleaner than before he came. He fixed all the mistakes the old installers made for us and kept us informed throughout. Absolutely a specialist at his job. He's also very polite and transparent, thoroughly recommended!

Alan did an excellent job replacing my broken boiler. He was patient and thorough in explaining what was wrong with the old boiler and the pros and cons for replacement versus repair. Once I agreed on replacement he walked me through the justification for which boiler model was appropriate and prepared a quote for the work. His team completed the work in less time then projected and cleaned up completely when everything was done. I would recommend him without hesitation and he will be my first call should ever the need arise.

My vaillant eco tec plus boiler was showing a f27 fault code and needed the pcb board replaced. Alan did the work calmly and efficiently and with clear explanation. He also sorted out the thermometer and advised on possible future issues with this 9 year old boiler.

Alan attended our property and replaced a faulty in built stove with a new one. Alan was excellent with his communications and arrived at the time agreed . Although this was not a big job it was was potentially tricky and the work was carried out without fuss. Alan tested the installed the stove and supplied the associated paperwork. All works were carried out on time and budget. The works areas were left neat and tidy.

I was home and sick with food poisoning when my toilet kept running wasting loads of water. I called Alan and he came round the next day and wrestled with my toilet. He applied a fix, then returned the next day with the right part. He also checked over my boiler and gave me some good tips on keeping it running smoothly. I contacted Alan Mack as he was an approved installer on the Worcester Bosch website. Alan Mack gave a reasonable quote to install a new boiler. He did a great job installing it and the whole job was done within a day. He has a very professional and polite manner and I would not hesitate to hire him again.

Introduction was via our bathroom fitter, Alan gave an honest and objective overview of what he thought the issues were preventing our underfloor heating in the kitchen from working properly and provided an estimate of the range of possible costs to get operational again. He arrived at the agreed time and by coincidence the boiler was also causing problems, which he fixed before moving on to resolve the issues with the floor heating, which were numerous. By the time he left we had a fully functioning controllable system for the first time since it had been installed. Alan also gave the boiler a long overdue service. Alan was very professional and gave a full explanation of everything he was doing and we will be booking him in to undertake an annual service of the boiler.

Alan has done several jobs for me over the past few years-put in a new boiler which he services. He has also put thermostats on all radiators and mended a leak on a radiator which was due to a worn out washer. All jobs have been done satisfactorily. He has a good timing system, communicates well and keeps me up to date. I can recommend him.

Alan installed what was for us, a totally new boiler system as well as seven new radiators a year ago. He returned today for the first annual inspection and check. We have been very impressed with his knowledge and appreciated his lucid explanations especially as we changed over to a completely different central heating system. The installation was carried out with minimal fuss, mess and disruption and included installing some new pipework, taking out the old boiler and both the hot water and cold water tanks. We were delighted to see him back today for the annual check. We recommend him most highly.

Initially contacted Alan about removing a radiator and replacing it with a vertical one. When he initially visited he inspected the whole heating system and helped me to make an informed decision about replacing the boiler and all the radiators which were old and on borrowed time. I also asked him to fit a new kitchen sink, tap, bathroom vanity unit and shower screen. He helped me decide on a new kitchen sink and tap and supplied a shower screen at a highly discounted price. The work was completed to the highest standard on the agreed dates and for a fair price. Most importantly, Alan is a very genuine, engaging and knowledgeable person who you can trust and feel comfortable being in your home. He went above and beyond to make sure the job was done properly and explained everything clearly. He always kept me updated with what he was doing and dealt with any issues that popped up. I will use Alan for boiler servicing and any other plumbing and heating work required in the future.

Alan popped in out of hours to have a look at old boiler, quickly arranged for a replacement and arrived a couple of days to later to install. Great job ... all very neat and tidy afterwards too, with good info provided including about boilers in general. Also rang when he said he would, did what he said he would. Smart and decent bloke. Alan is pleasant and easy to get on with. He explained clearly what he was going to do and kept us up to date with what was happening. He successfully sorted out some very tricky problems which other plumbers had failed to do. We recommend him and because his work was so good have already arranged his return in 2 weeks to do a few more plumbing jobs.
