Old front wall removed, taken back to foundations, new wall erected and new front gate installed. Alan kept us informed of the work schedule, which was obviously weather dependent. His attention to detail is excellent everything has to be right, no cutting corners or a fast fix. The quote that was provided at the beginning was the price we paid. We would certainly recommend Allan and wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.

Allan Rowe corrected a previously-built loft extension. The previous work had been done to a low standard. He replaced a timber post with a reinforced steel post. He securred the dormer roof with timber supports and fitted steel hangars to previously-insecure joists. He also worked on the supporting beams in two first-floor bedrooms, preventing them from moving around by fitting appropriate supporting materials. He stripped back the boards around the significant cracks in our house, made repairs and then oversaw the replastering of a number of our walls. Allan is an excellent builder and very conscientious. He explained what he was going to do, before he did it. Provided weekly, understandable progress reports. Completed all the work within a reasonable time-frame. Left our property clean and property. The quote that Allan provided was exactly what we paid, on completion. It was a pleasure to welcome Allan into our home, to do this much-needed work. His standards are very high and his workmanship is superb. Additionally, the plasterer that Allan employed - Steve Leach, Premier Plastering - was very good. I don't think that anyone could have done a better job than Allan Rowe. I would recommend him without reservation.
