What started out as one woman’s vision as an apprentice, working one-on-one alongside an established female electrician for 5 years, turned into Amy’s Electrics.

Friendly and great trades women
Amy and Katie greeted me at my door with an introduction to themselves (very friendly) She went through her work plan asking me what I needed to be done. She also showed and explained what she was doing. I was very happy with their work, very friendly, and tidied up during and after their work. The consumer unit was checked to make sure everything was OK but after leaving the fan light didn't come on. I rang Amy she turned around and came back it turned out our fan caused the first floor light to trip, the problem was solved in less than 5 minutes.

Amy and her colleague Katy repaired a broken doorbell for us. The job was complex as the doorbell was old and historic. They were cheery, efficient and keen to solve the problem. Nothing seemed too difficult. I’d happily use the firm again.

Once again Amy and her team provided a 10/10 service. After trying to install a light ourselves, Amy saved the day (and during a busy time of year no less). From the very start, Amy and her team were great, communication and discussion of the work made it so that when they arrived they knew exactly what needed doing. The price was very competitive and more importantly the standard of work was excellent. My boyfriend was in at the time as I was at work, and he couldn't compliment them enough, they were also fabulous with our dog. Which cannot be underestimated when someone is coming into your home. The work was completed quickly, they tidied up after themselves and were just a delight from the very start. So would highly recommend it. Much better than any agency business. Thank you so much

I arranged for Amy's team to install ceiling spotlights in our lower ground floor hallway. Their quote was about the lowest in price but more importantly they discussed and agreed a work plan that seemed best suited for the job. On site, they discussed & agreed final plans with me. They were friendly and professional. They helped move some furniture etc, and completed the job within the agreed time frame. They replaced things, relaid carpet raised to gain access, and left everything neat and tidy. I would strongly recommend them.
