Amy's Electric's came recommended to us by friends and will be our go to now if we need any jobs doing in the future. Communication was quick and smooth prior to the appointment. Work was carried out at the agreed time, efficiently and safely (and with good advice on what would look best). Pricing was clear (and their website has useful info on what to expect for each kind of job, which I found reassuring). Also a real bonus for us to be using a woman owned service. Thanks a lot Amy - the new light looks amazing and up in time for Xmas!

I had lost the use of an electrical circuit. Amy was super quick in coming round and worked through the problem systematically and solved in very quickly although it was not entirely straightforward. Amy was very cheerful and nice to have around. Charges were very fair too.

I asked Amy to quote for fitting an isolation circuit after my old oven broke, as an appliance vendor assured me that all new ovens required this. Amy pointed out this would be quite disruptive if I wasn't refurbishing the kitchen, told me what to look for to find an oven that would work on the existing circuit, and then ok'd my choice before I ordered it, even though it meant a much smaller job for her team. Great communication throughout. Katie, who did the actual work, was lovely to deal with. Would happily use again, totally recommend.

I called Amy after something dodgy seemed to be happening with my fuse box and got lucky as she was able to get to my flat in the next couple of hours - she found the fault very quickly, fixed it and explained everything she was doing which was really helpful. A really great experience overall, I'll certainly be giving her a call for any future electrical problems!

I can’t recommend Amy’s Electrics highly enough. I first used her about five years ago after a friend and neighbour recommended her, and her team did an excellent job back then. This time around, Amy clearly explained what needed to be done and how she’d approach the work. Her honesty, integrity, and depth of knowledge are genuinely refreshing in the trades industry. The quality of her work is consistently first-class.

I couldn’t be happier with the work that Amy’s team carried out. We had quite an unusual setup, but they identified problems quickly and had multiple solutions and brought us in at every step to give their recommendation, but let us have the final decision. They had all the tools/parts with them, so no need to go off-site to get parts during the day. And I really appreciated that Amy had the flexibility to fit in other small jobs on the day to tie up all our loose ends, so we actually got more completed than initially anticipated. When they reconfigured our setup, they made everything more intuitive and logical, fixing errors that we’d been living with. They were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and I felt in safe hands and that they had our best interests at heart at all times. Also offered advice but didn’t push upsells. Would have no hesitations in recommending them and would definitely use them again.

I very rarely write reviews but everything was right. Katie was friendly, polite, helpful, efficient and professional. As mentioned by a previous review, there was no dissapearing to the cafe for an hour under the pretext of obtaining a new part. We asked that the EICR certificate be sent quickly and it arrived next morning and the charge to us was very reasonable

Amy and her colleague were lovely people who did a great job. We will most definitely use them again. One of the best things … they had all the tools and parts they needed on their van on the day, including a new light switch that exactly matched the ones we already have. So many traders come to the house and then tell you they have to take time out to go to a builders’ merchant or similar, or order a part - and that can take ages. So refreshing to get the job done properly and quickly in the space of less than an hour! Thanks Amy!

Tash and Reagan did a fantastic job, were very friendly and helpful in giving advice when replacing some of the light fittings, one of which needed relocating. They worked super efficient, clean and everything looked perfect at the end! Exactly how I envisioned it. So thank you both again! The communication prior to the work with Amy was also really great, friendly and clear. The pricing was very transparent and really good value. I will absolutely use them again in the future and would recommend Amy's Electrics to anyone I know.
