Would highly recommend Andrew’s of Kent. I have used them twice, once in 2014 UK to France and most recently in January 2024 France to Uk. On both occasions they acted in a highly professional manner as well as being very friendly answering all queries promptly. They kept me informed about the customs procedures and ensured that I understood every step of the move. They picked my furniture up at the pre arranged time and delivered it to my uk address at the booked time. The cost was very reasonable and I would highly recommend them

Andrews were our preferred mover from our previous property into store to await the build of our new home unfortunately through the problems with our buyer Andrews could not accommodate us and we were forced to use another firm who moved our furniture into their storage facility. Six months later they ceased trading and we went back to Andrews to arrange transfer to their storage facility. Subsequently they moved us out of store into our new home. We cannot fault the professional and friendly approach by all the office staff and the removal people on the day. We thoroughly recommend Andrews.

I couldn’t have been happier with the service Andrews provided. Moving from Margate to Glasgow, I anticipated a difficult process ahead, but thanks to the thought and attention every step of the way – from initial consultation, to communicating with the office, to the move itself – it couldn’t have been easier. Though I sourced quotes from other local movers, I went with Andrews because of the evident professionalism of their approach, which I saw in action during my move. Both Frank and Rhys were unfailingly friendly and diligent, even in the face of a lot of trips up and down two flights of stairs! They made what could have been a very stressful process an absolute breeze, and I’m very grateful for their efforts. Having done my packing for me, not a single item was broken or misplaced, and I only wish I’d signed up for the unpacking service as well! Though I hope not to be moving again any time soon, I will enthusiastically recommend Andrews to friends in Kent who may well be.

Cara in the office was super efficient. She filled us with confidence from the start. Andrew's Quote was brilliant value. One large well known local company quoted silly prices and wanted to move us over three days on the Bank holiday weekend! Andrews of Kent moved us in one day with no fuss and bother. Glyn, Frank and Elliot who helped move us on the day were brilliant. We felt very comfortable with them all and they were respectful and helpful throughout the day. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Everything was packed and unpacked carefully and those fragile items were wrapped in quilt and polythene to give added protection. The lads talked us through the process as it unfolded and were patient when we encountered delays getting into the new property. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. In fact I've already recommended them to several people! Well done to all involved, we really appreciated everything you did for us.

We had a big move, over three days. There was a lot of outside furniture/equipment and storage/sheds etc to move as well. The staff were fantastic - totally professional, extremely hard working, never complained, kept consistently cheerful, helpful and positive the whole time even though there seemed to be a never ending amount to move. Frank led the whole process, was there for the whole three days and could not be faulted - he was a real credit to the firm, everything was organised efficiently and we have never seen anyone work so hard! We were very satisfied with the service and very grateful that the move was completed with such positivity.

We found Andrews of Kent through our very trusted Which membership and then heard someone near us had used them too! The quote was quick and competitive and the Removal Team (Rhys, Frank & Elliot) on the day, we’re very presentable and more importantly we felt very comfortable around them. They even moved my beloved Peony in a very awkward plant pot for me. We did have a small problem of the main van not being quite big enough but it was soon sorted with another van & crew being called in to take our excess belongings. The whole service from start to finish was professional and friendly. We absolutely would recommend them and use them ourselves, should we ever move again!

We had a removal booked with another company but as our completion date changed at short notice, we were very lucky that Andrews were able to fit us in. Cara at the desk sorted out two different dates and staff to move us, as the date changed for a second time. She was really helpful during a very stressful time. Right from the inspection visit, very professional, knew what they were doing and lots of experience. Very Respectful of both myself and my husband, along with the property. When they were unloading into the new property, they put things exactly where I wanted them and if I changed my mind, they were happy to move again, Very accomodating. They were very happy throughout the day and worked with us in deciding what order things should be moved in. I had quite a great number of garden pots, they worked out exactly how to put them in the van, very careful with them. Not a single thing was broken or damaged. I just would not even consider employing anyone else if I have to move again. Have already recommended to other.

My original removal people let me down and Andrews literally saved the day. The move took two days and I prepacked and boxed a lot of stuff. The three guys were excellent, non stop, nothing too much trouble, couldn’t have had better. I’m hard to please so it’s not faint praise, for example the guy who came round to confirm the estimate has a standing invitation to my funeral, he’ll set the tone well, miserable, moany and flagging up formalities and issues, don’t be put off folks, the rest of the office staff are cheerful and helpful. I won’t be moving again, age and health reasons, but if I were, Andrews would honestly be very hard to beat. Price wise they’re pretty much same as too.

My parents moved from Kent to Scotland. They are in their late 70's and the move was driven by health issues. The removal gents were very hard working and very helpful and friendly. We learnt all about the snakes and other exotic animals that one gent had! There were no complaints about all of the items and their speedy professional work, ensured that everything was done within a day, allowing my father and I to return to London by car at a reasonable time. The company lived up to its great reputation, with the team arriving on time to start the packing, despite the heavy snow. They worked quickly and had all but the essentials boxed/wrapped, even loading some of the furniture ready for the next day. The removal day (still snowing) went very smoothly, and everything was loaded by 12:30. After a 2 hour delay getting the keys, they started unloading and 2 extra guys were on hand to help and they finished around 16:30. I would recommend Andrews for their expert, friendly, reliable service. Well done.

Andrews came highly recommended by a close friend and they did not disappoint. Andy was professional and helpful in providing the quote and explaining the services available during the middle of the COVID situation and the associated protocols being followed. I chose to have the kitchen packed up by the company and they also were to dismantle two beds and a wardrobe on the day of the move. The three man team of David, Gary and Brooklyn arrived promptly just before 8am and were courteous and professional throughout. Everything was dismantled, packed up and we were on our way before 1pm. On arrival at my new home, unpacking and rebuilding the beds and wardrobe was equally efficient. Boxes were located to the correct rooms and clothes hung back up in wardrobes. I can honestly say that after moving three times in the last four years this was easily the least stressful by far! Thank you to all the team and staff at Andrews of Kent. We have always moved ourselves but I was finding myself getting super stressed and anxious about moving day. Money was tight so we really were unsure about shelling out on a removal company. Andrews came highly recommended so we got a quote. From the minute Andrew walked in the door he was professional, explained everything and really listened to our needs. We did have another quote from somebody else who didn’t really spend much time going through things at all but they did come on over £100 cheaper! Money was tight but my gut told me that Andrews would be the best option to ensure the day went smoothly. Jacqui in the office was so kind, again listened to our needs as we have an Autistic son who was so anxious and worried about his computer getting damaged. Jacqui rand me and included it on the paper work that extra packing would be supplied to wrap it up. The day couldn’t have gone better, they arrived in uniform dead on 8am, they were so quick! They were packed up and gone by 11.15! We all had such a giggle! I couldn’t believe how relaxed we all were. I couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough! We had a dreadful experience with the legal problems that occurred with the sale of our property and buying a new place to live, with difficulty all the way and no fixed dates could be made for the completion and that was not fixed until the day before we moved, and half our home had been moved into Andrew's warehouse. Even on completion date the moving team had to wait until 3:30 before getting the go ahead and access to the property. I must thank Andy and the staff of Andrews of Kent for accommodating the ever changing completion dates and the complexity of very limited access to the premises we were moving out of, taking four days of organisation to get the contents of the property transferred. All the office organising staff and the removal and delivery teams worked extremely hard to make a very stressful experience run smoothly. They were all, under difficult circumstance, efficient, courteous and helpful at all times. I highly recommend this company for any house move and I expect you will get the same level of service we received from them.

Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly at every stage. They paid attention to details and were open about potential difficulties, working with us to agree solutions. Because of the volume of stuff we were moving the job was scheduled for 2 days which worked well for us. On day 2 it poured with rain for hours on end while they unloaded at the new house. The guys worked through it and stayed cheerful, negotiating the narrow stairs and low ceilings of our new house (a 1750 listed building) with no complaints. It felt like a homecoming for us and made for a happy start to this new stage in our lives. I unreservedly recommend this service.

The removers arrived on time as previously stated, moving out went smoothly including handling a large sofa which needed to be taken apart and many boxes both large and small. All in all no hiccups or dramas. As usual there was a long wait for the keys to become available, but as soon as we had them to hand the men were ready to start work. They had to cope with stairs up to the second floor with no assistance from the lift unfortunately!! Again the work was done in a really efficient manner including a struggle with the parts of the very heavy sofa. Once in the flat they assembled the sofa and put our bed together and then continued on with the many boxes. We think they deserved a medal for the amount of effort required to tackle the stairs, we did feel the work required was excessive and they would have benefited from another man we would have happily paid for an additional pair of hands, the men remained helpful and good natured. We have used Andrews twice before and every time has been a good efficient job well done. we would certainly recommend them.

I was emigrating and having moved before I knew how stressful the packing and move could be but with the help of Andrews they made the whole experience as stress free as possible. The company provided a first class and very professional service and nothing and I mean absolutely nothing was a problem for them including moving expensive and heavy items, they took it all in their stride. They took the time to listen to all of my concerns with individual items and addressed them all without any problems whatsoever and where needed recommended additional packing or specialist packing for items of value or fragility which I had overlooked or hadn’t thought to ask for. They arrived on the day of the move and they diligently removed my possessions and carefully packed them into the removals vehicles before carefully offloading them at their location for sorting, export cataloging and re-packing the items into shipping containers. I was pleased I decided to use Andrews and would without a doubt recommend this company to anyone who needs a local and professional removals company.

The packers came in on day one and the 3 staff that came where great and packed all our items very well not one things was broken, then the same 3 staff turned up the next day and loaded all our goods onto the vehicle and took us to our new house. We did not get keys until about 15.30. The staff were all fine about this we unload as much as possible that day then they came back the next day and finished the job off. We have moved with many company's over the years and this was by far the best move we have ever had. Thanks to all the staff at Andrews Of Kent

The service was good apart form the reaction we received to our oak dining table being scratched: There was a £40 damage limit per item in the T&Cs and as the repair estimate was £60, we asked for £40 reimbursement. This was met by a request to fill-out their insurance claim form, which on submission, we were told' 'sorry but we have a £50 admin charge, so there's no point in pursuing this'. We were sent on a form-filling 'wild goose chase'. I've given over £1000 pounds (ex VAT) of business; yet it's apparently not possible to reimburse less that 4% for good customer relations.

I was pleased with the support I had from this firm. My move was quite stressful (due to solicitor mix ups) but the firm was very understanding and just stored my things over night and then delivered the next day, following completion. The removal men were helpful, friendly, cheerful. They worked with me throughout keeping me informed, asking questions when they were unsure (about whether an item was staying or going, for example) and willingly re-arranged furniture in my new house until I was happy. Overall they made my move less stressful (unlike the solicitors)

Having to move from a property which was over a two-hour drive away we needed to find a removal company who could liaise with us and our sales agent and undertake the move into storage totally unsupervised. We used Andrews of Kent to relocate from Surrey to Broadstairs in Kent and were very pleased with the services. Used their on-line quote form which was very accurate, plus we'd read many good reviews from Referenceline on the website that helped to make our decision to use them. The office staff were very professional and kept us informed on what was happening, especially as we had some problems with our moving date. The move was over two days and the lads that packed and moved us were second to none. Kind, reassuring, professional and funny too. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped us not to feel too stressed about the whole thing which was good! All our belongings arrived at our new house as they had left our old house and the lads put all the furniture and boxes into the correct rooms, garage and sheds which made the unpacking so much easier for us. I would very much recommend this company for your removals, and we have already passed their details onto friends that are considering moving to Kent too. Many thanks again.

We all know moving is stressful, even if we're not sure exactly why. Having received a very competitive quote, I invited Andrews of Kent to handle my move from Ramsgate to a top floor flat in Blackpool, some 320 miles away. I opted for the packaging service which was well worth it. The guys arrived on time and got to work without fuss. Items were carefully wrapped, boxed and labelled for content and location. Soon, the furniture and boxes were being loaded in readiness for the drive up the next day...and 'Guys, can you take my 750cc bike?'. Working to high professional standards, Karl and John were courteous and yet friendly at all times, helping to keep stress to a minimum. On arrival the next day, boxes and furniture were unloaded swiftly, and placed in their locations, checking that the furniture was positioned to my liking. The bed, which had been dismantled for loading, was reassembled ready for the welcome rest which was to come later...and yes, the bike was loaded too. Andrews of Kent were great allies in my move and an enormous help from start to finish. I would definitely use them again and I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone contemplating a move.

We moved from the UK to Canada, involving the shipment by container of our home possessions. We sought several quotes, varying from local Kent businesses to international removal companies. From the 1st meeting with Andy, I was hoping that Andrews of Kent would be able to give me an international service with a local, friendly service. I am delighted to say that they met my expectations throughout the entire process. Andy's estimation options were very clear, and the communication from the office was good prior to the removal day from the UK. On the UK removal day, the removal team were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful in packing the container, with very good documentation and communication. The shipment then went on it's way to Canada, and arrived on the specified day at port in Canada. I was then delighted that I got the same 1st class service from the removal team in Canada appointed by Andrews of Kent. Not a single item damaged, and a 1st class customer service provided.
