AGS called to view and quote for the job. Details and options were explained and discussed. I choose to use their service based on this. The team arrived and installed the units promptly and efficiently. I was consulted and advised where choice were to be made. Finally the operation of the units was explained fully and patiently. They were professional and courteous at all times. Recommended.

Combi boiler was varying in pressure between Zero bar & 3.5 bar & back to less than 1 bar. Andy came out himself the same morning as all engineers booked. Found expansion vessel empty, drained, recharged, refilled system & tested. Fixed the immediate problem, explained if pressures go haywire again a new vessel will be required. Fingers crossed!! Fantastic customer service!!

Diagnosed a faulty PCB which had caused other issues with gas boiler, recommended a fixed price repair from the manufacturer, as being the more cost-effective option given the manufacturer’s economies of scale. Their service throughout was prompt, knowledgeable, very customer focused and they left the place very tidy. Extremely reasonable rates, I was struck by the sheer decency of the engineer who was prepared to advise us on cost-effective solutions, even if that meant us taking our business elsewhere. Be assured, I will definitely be using Andy Gas Southern in future.

We are very happy with the Annual Vaillant gas boiler service just completed. Ryan was very efficient, helpful and polite. The boiler has been installed and serviced since 2009 by AGS. All the work done has always been very good. As always we would highly recommend AGS.

After the demise of our boiler,AGS provided a competitive tender for a replacement boiler. We were informed of the type of boiler recommended and the work required to replace the current boiler by Andy. Steve our fitter was efficient and he kept us updated on the progress of the work. The work was done with minimal loss of water and gas and we were able to use the boiler after day 1 for hot water before the system flush on day 2 All work was conducted quickly and professionally. We would recommend this company for any similar work and boiler servicing.

A problem with a 23 year old shower thermostatic mixer valve made the shower unusable but was quickly identified. A work-around has given the shower a new lease of life and for a very reasonable charge. Could not have asked for more. My boiler started to make a loud banging noise when starting after a BG service. I got AGS Ltd to look at it and their engineer did his own service and cleared the fault. I will definitely be getting AGS to do my service next year!

I had a new boiler fitted by another local firm and all was not well. I found Andy Gas from the Which? Trusted Trader list and within a few visits they had identified a number of problems, one of them being a safety issue so concerning that the system was 'At Risk' and the boiler taken out of use. I was provided with a quotation and advised of a scheme of works to rectify all the issues and in due course their Gas Service Technicians spent 2 and a half days working solidly, not only to remedy the issues but to make welcome improvements. During his visits, the manager demonstrated a thorough technical knowledge and its application to my system. The technicians were well mannered and applied themselves to the work in hand, taking care to lay dustsheets and to vacuum afterwards. They also updated the float valve with a newer Part 2 model when I asked them. On completion, I was given an explanation of what had been achieved and shown how to adjust the pressure release valve. Magnificent and reassuring service.

I have used this firm for annual gas boiler checks before. Their total service is of high quality and their charges are reasonable. This is the second of their engineers I've been sent. He was very professional and thoroughly competent. His people skills were high (answered my questions in terms i could understand) and he was efficient, leaving me with a completed record of his findings.They send me reminders and their paperwork is as thorough as their engineering skill, led by an extremely capable administrator. I hope to use this firm next year and would recommend them to anyone needing similar work undertaken.

I have used AndyGas for many years to service my boiler. It is a very efficient, friendly Company. My existing boiler sprung a leak at the beginning of the very cold spell and they sent out one of their Engineers promptly. It was confirmed that it was beyond economic repair. John quoted for a boiler ideal for my needs - 10 yr guarantee covering boiler, parts and labour. It was fitted a day and a half later by Jordan who worked nonstop in very cold conditions. The following Friday, Kieran flushed the radiators through, another full-day job. The result is that my home has never been so cosy and warm. Both guys are very friendly and courteous and do a first-class, clean, tidy job, as do all their Engineers. As an elderly customer, it is a comfort for me to be able to contact such a reliable Company when needed. I can thoroughly recommend them.

We had our boiler and gas fire serviced. The work was completed very efficiently. Communication with the firm was good.

We had two radiators replaced and new valves and thermostats fitted to the rest of our radiators. Connor turned up on time laid sheets throughout to protect carpets etc. He worked really hard and wouldn’t stop for any refreshments. Very tidy and pleasant young man. He was joined by two colleagues and the work was carried out efficiently and quickly. We would throughly recommend Andygas, we have been a customer for over ten years.

Andy Gas responded very quickly to initial request for help finding a leak under toilet cistern. Engineer who was sent found and fixed the leak very efficiently and explained all work undertaken. The bathroom was left immaculate.

We had this company in to replace a shower and put in a pump. Greg (hopefully I’m right) was incredibly professional and polite. We had to work whilst he did this and he was very considerate and accommodating. When issues occur he was quick to discuss and agree upon a solution. My boiler was installed by Andy Gas some years ago and they have looked after and serviced since. All engineers that have called have been polite and carried out any work efficiently and without any disruption. Some years ago during a bad winter our boiler stopped working, I phoned the office to report the problem and explained that my wife was quite poorly. An engineer was on site within the hour and had the boiler Working again within thirty minutes. That’s the kind of service that I can rely on.

I used Andy Gas for the first time last year. They’re work was of such a high standard I used them again this time. I have recently moved and needed my boiler moving. The two guys who carried out the work were punctual, polite, very professional and everything was done just as I wanted it. I would thoroughly recommend them. Didn’t hang about and got straight on with the job he asked if I had any problems which I didn’t have. Charlie from Andy Gas Southern called at the time agreed to cap off the gas supply to a wall mounted gas fire I no longer wanted. He also removed the fire and took it away. My boiler stopped working late one night. I phoned AGS at eight am the next day and by twelve thirty pm the fault was fixed. The customer service throughout was impeccable and the cost was good value for money. AGS is highly recommended.

We recently had our water tank and boiler replaced with a combi boiler. The two engineers were on time and very friendly. They kept me updated with the process and any problems that occurred. The work was completed within two days. When they left they made sure everything was clean and tidied. They demonstrated everything clearly, so that I understood how it all worked before they left. Removal of Gas Fire and capping off pipe. Helpful receptionist who managed to find me a quick date for work to be done. The lady was clearly spoken and explained cost, very efficient. The young man who called to carry out the job was polite and friendly, arriving well within time slot given. He double-checked what I wanted done and completed it quickly and efficiently. Very happy with the entire process, from the initial survey of old boiler, advise on my options and the fit of the new boiler. My old boiler was broken (leaking) and incapable of heating all the rooms in the house. They replaced the boiler and fitted larger radiators in the living room and flushed and balanced the system. The new heating system works significantly better than before, for heating and hot water. The guys that come out to quote and do the work were clearly knowable and very professional

The installation process and work carried out were excellent and the system appears to be working entirely satisfactorily.

AGS Responded promptly to request for emergency repair after we were let down by our contracted service provider. Effected a temporary fix which restored heating and hot water. New part ordered and fitted as promised. Truly excellent service. Have now cancelled existing contract and will use AGS for all future servicing and repairs.

The gas fitter, Jordan, arrived at a specified time and introduced himself. He was very polite and explained what he was going to do. He then proceeded to start on task and didn’t stop until it was finished. He kept everything clean and tidy. I have used AGS for many years and will keep using them in the future.

AGS Ltd have serviced my boiler for many years. They are thorough and absolutely reliable. Over time the pressure has been building in the boiler above the recommended level. The expansion vessel and filling loop were checked which pinpointed the need to replace the cold inlet valve/filling loop. This was replaced. The work was conducted quickly and effectively. I have no hesitation in recommending this organisation.

I have used Andy Gas for a number of years to service my central heating boiler and have always been very satisfied with the service provided. Additionally , I have used them for other plumbing work from time to time. I have no reservations in recommending them, acknowledging that Andy Gas has met my expectations by providing services to me despite some logistical challenges presented in the last 2 years including rearranging appointments when necessary.

Plumber Sam arrived in the time given. Got straight onto the problem. Polite and curtious. Managed to get the heating and hot water back working until a part can be accessed and within the call out charge time. Very happy with service. A friend recommended them and I would happily do the same.

Our boiler broke down on Sunday 24th. Andy Gas would have come out the same day but we took the cheaper call out for Monday 25th. Fitter arrived before 9 am having phoned first and the job was completed before 10am. A really helpful polite and informed fitter who did a superb job. We have been using AGS Ltd. for many years. They have fixed leaking taps, fitted a new shower supplied from the gas boiler via the bath taps, fitted a new gas boiler and carried out regular servicing of our boilers, Their engineers and reception staff have always been helpful and polite carrying out any work efficiently and leaving the work area clean. Since starting with AGS we have never used anyone else. We have never needed to complain. I believe the rates charged are fair for me, as a customer. Having found a good company I have not found a need to change, why would we?

In the process of selling my property and realised that I needed a gas safety inspection completed at quite short notice! Really helpful on the phone when I first made contact and was able to visit my property within the specified timescale. Undertook the thorough safety inspection and produced a professional report. Very prompt. Introduced himself. Told that leak was under kitchen sink. He looked and found that the main water supply connection to washing machine was where the problem was. Re-tightened faulty connection and tested unit.

With price of gas these days and although my gas boiler has not missed a beat I felt it was necessary to have the old girl serviced just to give me peace of mind. The AGS technician Ryan turned up on time was very pleasant and helpful in an unpatronising way and carried out a comprehensive service and the price seemed reasonable. Everything was all ok so I can relax for another year. I have used AGS for many years and have never had any complaints but it's always nice to know there's a man called Andy, it's his business and anyone can talk to him. I can't recommend them higher than that.

AGS replaced my internal gas supply pipe which had developed a small leak. The pipe runs under the floor for the whole length of the house so replacing it in situ would have involved ripping up flooring throughout the ground floor, including some expensive wood laminate flooring. AGS devised a solution which involved running the pipe round the skirting board and out of the rear of the property so no damage to the floors. The quote was received within an hour of the engineer leaving and was reasonable. The job itself was done quicker than expected, cleanly and professionally by a cheerful and very polite engineer. Will definitely be using AGS again.

The fitter from Andy Gas listened to the issues with the fitting of the original toilet which resulted in the cistern cracking. He checked over the new toilet carefully at my request before dismantling anything. He was careful to cover the carpet to keep everything clean and tidy. He checked I was happy with the placing of the toilet with consideration of the impact it would have on the flooring. He discussed how to make good the wall behind the cistern that was now revealed. This was more than I expected as his role was the fitting of the toilet. He was concerned about leaving everything looking good as well as working well.

Work: Replacement boiler, additional radiator, extend gas supply, power flush. I was very impressed with AGS. Jordan and his team worked so hard and were very calming by their no-fuss manner. They left the site clean and on time. They were all very polite and pleasant people to have in my house for 3 days. I most certainly recommend them.

We chose AGS because of the reviews and we were not disappointed. From the initial visit, additional site visits before the work started the logistics, listening to what we wanted, it just gave us confidence from the start. We met Chris our bathroom fitter before he started the work and then he and his apprentice Kieran became part of the furniture for the next 4 weeks. They were courteous, respectful and we felt really comfortable having them about. The quality of work was great, Chris has a real eye for detail and goes that extra mile. Result was we have 2 great new bathrooms. Very happy. We have used AGS before for our boiler servicing and the customer care is excellent, they are coming back to do some additional work for us. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

There is only 1 A. G. S. and I wouldn't go any where else for a plumbing service. Everything with them is exceptional.

After a gas leak, which left us with an emergency disconnection and 9 days without use of the boiler (including shower, hot water and central heating) or cooker hob, in the winter and in the middle of a pandemic, AGS came to our rescue. I honestly cannot fault them. Andy scoped and quoted for the job and brought me an electric heater. The young engineers who made the pipes safe were professional, knowledgeable and worked all day on this job, getting the cooker back into place perfectly and clearing up when they had finished. Hot water, central heating and the gas hob are now working perfectly. Everyone wore masks and was careful about social distancing. The invoice was even very slightly under the quote. Highly recommended.

Excellent Covid precautions are taken (mask, shoe covers and distance). Put sheets on the floor where he was working. Arrived within the time frame that I was given. One aspect of the work couldn't be carried out so my invoice was reduced accordingly. The young chap was impressive. He had a good attitude, customer service and demeanour. He was knowledgeable and respectful. He also did a good job and kept me informed on what was going on and when he found a problem he then told me how he was going to resolve it. Very happy as usual with the annual Vaillant gas boiler service completed. Also had a new G10 Seal fitted. AGS are helpful, friendly, efficient and professional people. Onsite they took care to follow Covid-19 precautions. Boiler installed and serviced since 2009 by AGS. All the work done has always been very good. If only all other companies we have dealt with were up to these standards.

The job required two leaky radiator valves to be replaced. The engineer arrived on time and completed the work in about 1 hour. No mess. New valves neatly fitted and no leaks. AGS worked hard to fit me in before I go away. Really good service

This is the first time I have used Andy Gas but I am used to seeing their vans in the area and I have heard from others locally with good reports of their service. I am pleased to say that they have lived up to my expectations. The fitter was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The price seemed fair and the work was completed as per the agreement. I will be using them in future both for routine servicing and problem resolution.

I found AGS by accident as I needed a repair to an old water heater. Having been quoted in excess of £200 for the job, AGS repaired it for less than £100. I then used them to replace the old heating and hot water system and I found their service to be friendly and extremely professional from the quote to actually doing the job. The guys were very courteous and considerate. They explained everything and kept me informed of the work along the way and answered all my questions. They also took the time to give me instructions on how to use it even though all the instructions were in a booklet. The job was finished in a timely manner and they left my house clean and tidy at the end of every day and I would not hesitate to recommend them

We've used this company for boiler servicing and repairs for a few years now and today their plumber came to sort out a leak in the shower. After being let down, overcharged and generally pee'd off by several other local tradesmen we're happy to reccommend AGS for any work you need done. They're aren't the cheapest (not the dearest either) but they are prompt, pleasant to deal with and completely trustworthy and that's a rarity these days. We even get a Christmas card from them every year.

Used Andy Gas a few times over a couple of years and can't fault them in any respect. Clean, tidy, capable, respectful, efficient and polite. Oh and well priced. Before I got into computing and automation I was a qualified Gas Fitter (some 50yrs ago now) so I have and appreciation of the job and know a good job when I see one.

I had no idea what I needed, but I knew I had to replace my boiler system and increase the water pressure / performance of my showers, hot water etc. AGS guided me expertly through the process, including helping me to choose the most suitable equipment and systems from the many options on the market. They were always on time for meetings, communicated very rapidly, and their presentation and professionalism is outstanding. Once they started work (on exactly the date they had scheduled), the team were fantastic. The house was always immaculate, they cleared up after themselves as they worked, and the standard of their work is amazing - my plumbing is now a work of art :) Nothing was too much trouble. The work was completed on time and on budget (in fact slightly below budget - they gave me a credit) and the finished result is even better than I expected. This was our fourth annual boiler service with AGS Ltd and once again their service from booking the appointment via telephone to completion of the task has been excellent. This time Sam turned up and he was early. Friendly yet very professional and efficient. I remarked upon a recent fault and he investigated and soon found the source of the problem. His office was quickly able to supply a favourable quote and the repair work has been booked in. This will be AGS Ltd's last service at my current home as I am moving in a few months. I have already alerted them and asked that they "move" with me to attend to future plumbing and gas requirements at my new property. I cannot recommend AGS Ltd highly enough.

Engineer arrived within two hour time frame window. Was happy to wear overshoes. Was polite and worked cleanly and efficiently to service the boiler. Charge was as quoted.

We still haven't got to the bottom of why the controller resets itself to Midnight on 01/01/10 when the boiler is turned off. This results because it was not noticed immediately that the heat is still on at 2.30 in the morning and I have to get out of bed and reset it then when feeling very hot. best wishes.

Was given the number for Andy Gas by a friend, as needed someone to fix a cistern in upstairs WC that ended up sounding like a foghorn when used. From first contact the response was brilliant. The receptionist obviously enjoyed working for the firm which was a good indicator. The plumber was a model of friendly efficiency, happy to answer my queries while asking those necessary to provide the best result. The work was carried out cleanly and with an obvious sense of cool efficiency that inspired trust for any future work. Subject to a quote, I hope seek to arrange further work re bathroom refit finances allowing. Given the response so far I have no reserve re considering them for any other work needed that may arise in future. This is not just a good firm - they are the "Firm to Trust" (Good price too.)

Annual boiler service today. Sam was on time and did a great job servicing the boiler and magnetic return filter. Even checked my water heater thermostat was working properly as I thought it might be faulty. Polite, professional and courteous as usual. Highly recommend AGS. Thanks guys!

I always use this company for any heating & plumbing issues. Booked for a boiler service, but the day before the service the boiler developed a fault. Engineer arrived, ordered part, returned the next day with new part, serviced boiler and fitted new part with no extra cost for the additional visit. Due to work commitments I am unable to be at my home when Andy Gas Southern visit and I have no qualms about giving them free access to my home. Always clean, tidy, punctual and totally trustworthy. Recommend without hesitation.

If you are looking for a plumber, look no further! We had the pleasure of Tom and Graham, two youngish lads, however, Tom's experience and knowledge was second to none. The installation, attention to detail, cleanliness was outstanding! In addition, they stayed late to make good our airing cupboard which was an added unexpected bonus! We had two quotes for the installation, I think what we paid was a good reflection, considering all the labour involved and a new boiler at the end. Look no further, you will not be disappointed if you use this company! 10/10
