Welcome to APG Domestic Services Ltd. We have been providing reliable heating, plumbing and electrical services for over 22 years for customers in Lancashire.

We are proud that our customers regularly tell us that we are a reliable and trustworthy company.

Phoned to arrange a booking and APG replied quickly and soon arranged an appointment. The plumber arrived on time, was friendly and professional, ensuring all worked as it should, and cleaned up after changing the tap. There was a good selection of good-quality taps to choose from, which included a 5-year guarantee. Really impressed by the professionalism of this company, who I have used on several occasions.

I arranged my annual boiler service and gas fire service easily and conveniently. The engineer is very polite, clean, and efficient. The problem identified required a second visit that was easily arranged and completed. Simply excellent service.

This company service my boiler annually and have always been brilliant. Turn up on time and do a good job. Recently we had a boiler leak so I contacted the company by phone and an engineer was dispatched promptly. He diagnosed the problem and contacted head office to order a spare part. I received a quote via email and replied (as instructed) to go ahead and order the part. A week later I had heard nothing so I phoned again, received an apology that they had not ordered the part and was given a date to complete the repair. Again the engineer turned up and replaced the part promptly. 2 days later I received an invoice and payed online immediately. I answered the invoice email with a request for a receipt and again have heard nothing. Does anyone answer emails at APG??

Chris and his team were fantastic. I had x2 10kw batteries, a hybrid inverter, a bi-directional meter, and a solar iboost installed. Very professional service received, good communication and very neat and tidy work!! I would highly recommend APG.

Domestic Heating & Water System Upgrades - Excellent Service

We've been Gold Star Service customers for a few years now and have got to know the APG team well. It all started with the fitting of a new ATAG boiler, which I have to say has been first rate. Well worth the investment. Thereafter, APG have maintained our Central Heating (CH) system annually, on time, and without fuss. Because our CH system is 38 years old we had APG fit new rad thermostats throughout. All now working perfectly. More recently, we asked them to complete 3 other upgrades i.e. replacement of a kitchen mixer tap, a failed shower-pump replacement and a heated towel rail replacement. All three jobs had constraints and needed shared thinking on how to address them. I found the managers and staff were really helpful in this regard. It took a little time to get things organised, but the combination of skills and positive attitude has won the day. My wife and I have no hesitation in recommending APG as a provider of choice. Well done and thanks to all, especially to the two Chris's, Darren and Les.

Replacement Boiler - completed expertly; early & on budget

Excellent & very professional service by very knowledgeable; flexible; friendly, honest and hardworking professionals. They removed a very old boiler at my parents house; relocated & replaced it with a new much more efficient boiler, with wireless control. We were kept informed of progress and had the water back on during the afternoon of the first day. They also responded very promptly to an out of hours query over the weekend, which is very reassuring. Very glad we chose APG and would certainly recommend them without hesitation.

Can't say a bad word - from the quote by Chris to arranging the installation was all a very smooth process. Our previous boiler had been purchased 18 years ago so I think we had definitely had our moneys worth! The guys who came on both days were very efficient, courteous and cleaned up after they had left. We had one previous quote from a large well known company which was almost twice the price! So glad we went with APG and would certainly recommend them without hesitation

Satisified with work completed on faulty gas pipes however I was left without gas for over 2 weeks due to the engineer being off sick and then not turning up, had to chase up several times !

Hello, We are very sorry you have not received the normal high standard expected of APG. As you can see from our history we rarely receive less than 5* . Unfortunately in your case we did struggle and had 2 members of staff both on leave due to sickness on the dates your job was booked in. We tried our best on the second instance to get someone to you as soon as possible, but appreciate this was later than the advised time of 8am. Once again we apologise for the inconvenience caused.

My boiler went bust suddenly. Within a week Chris came out and priced the job and it was fitted. What was impressive was the finish - most workman don't know what that word means. The two fitters fixed a three way arm and join two pipes together outside, which made it look much better - I didn't even need to ask. The electrician, at my request, put the fuse switch under the boiler, an unusual request, but which gave me more cupboard space. The holes of the old boiler were filled with concrete without asking. The boiler was place higher than normal at my request. They always tidied up, and removed all rubbish/unused parts. The computerised timer applications were explained clearly and curteously, important when you are 73. There was no drama, the fitters just got on with their job. And they praised my choice of an ATAG boiler, definitely not the cheapest, but the only one now with metal inner moving parts. Thus an 18 year parts and labour warranty is a really good deal (not something I usually pay for). I don't expect to ever have to buy another one before I pass. What were the most reliable brands now use plastic moving parts - they often break after 5 years. All in all, a good experience, I would recommend the workers to all of you.
