Welcome to APG Domestic Services Ltd. We have been providing reliable heating, plumbing and electrical services for over 22 years for customers in Lancashire.

We are proud that our customers regularly tell us that we are a reliable and trustworthy company.

Our business has been built on recommendations. It’s the reason that we now have a team of 27 employees all trained to the highest standards. This means we are always able to give priority to emergency calls. Although to us, every call is a priority.

Issue was very quickly diagnosed and new part ordered. Before the repair, an itemised quotation was forwarded for my approval. One quick phone call was all it took to schedule the repair. The repair was very quick and completed by a very friendly expert. Totally delighted.

Installing a new Worcester Bosch Combi-Boiler & Taps

APG fitted a new Worcester Bosch combi-boiler after removing my very old gravity fed boiler and all the plumbing in the loft plus the water storage tanks and the copper hot water cylinder. The engineers were very thorough and their expertise was evident as the work progressed. the second day of their visit the new boiler was mounted on the kitchen wall and all connections were made. I had problems with the basin taps in the hall cloakroom and the upstairs bathroom and the engineer advised me to purchase two new sets which I did. The original taps were installed when the house was built so new sets were overdue to be fitted. The new taps were ordered and were fitted within two weeks. Each engineer who visited had specific skills covering heating and plumbing. All the engineers were very polite and cleaned the area after the work was completed. The charges for each of the jobs were very reasonable and I would gladly recommend the services of APG to sort your problems.

I have used this company for the last five years to service my boiler and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. They are prompt, efficient and fairly priced. I also used them to have a new bathroom suite installed about three years ago and again the work was completed with the minimum of disruption and at a reasonable cost.

Requested a service for my electric boiler and was charged £70 to be told it doesn't need one. Why send an engineer in the first place particularly when the boiler itself was supplied by APG and they had my details from when it was installed. This information should have been relayed at the time of booking not after sending the engineer. I accept that call out fees need to be charged but not when the call out could have been avoided. A valve on a radiator was replaced during the visit which isn't included in the £70 but had I known my boiler didn't need servicing, I would have cancelled the visit and fixed the valve myself. When I contacted them to query the price, zero effort was made to appease the situation. Disappointed.

APG replaced most of our bathroom which had been poorly installed by a different company some years ago. APG understood the problem very quickly and worked hard to provide a sensible solution. APG were professional at all times and the project was successfully completed under very challenging circumstances - extreme weather and product supply complications. We would not hesitate to recommend APG.

Emergency Gas Leak Repair

When I was having a TV aerial installed, my gas pipe was accidentally drilled into. It felt quite stressful afterwards, but a phone call to APG soon had the repair underway. APG visited my house 3 times to assess the work that needed doing and a final time to do the repair in a very efficient, way with minimal disruption. The visits even included one from the manager. The repair was completed well within 24 hours. The cost was very reasonable and actually a little less tan I expected. I've not used APG before, but I am definitely considering them for a long overdue central heating system upgrade.
