A new combi boiler was required due to leakage. James arrived at the time given and took great care to protect all carpets and floor covering before starting work. He talked through what the job would involve before turning off the gas and water. The work then proceeded smoothly and quietly and the heat was back on by lunch time. He then explained exactly how the controls worked and made sure that I was satisfied with everything. A good job, well done. I can highly recommend APG.

Early evening, Xmas Eve as a consequence of retrieving a mobile phone that had fallen behind a radiator, water was escaping from the radiator, which was subsequently loose from its brackets! APG service our boiler. They were able to get one of their Engineers to call round to sort the emergency, stopping the leak within some 30 minutes of me, contacting them, and to return after the holiday break to properly refix the radiator on its brackets. Replacement central heating boiler and cistern, clear quotes at a range of price points, neat, tidy work done with care and attention to detail. Well presented, polite, helpful and knowledgable staff. We were happy to take out their after care service and annual check. Solar panels, battery and convertor which required a inset circuit board upgrade, further complicated by the original builders cementing in the wiring. Despite the challenges the work was done neatly and carefully. The area was left clean and tidy. From quote to completion they have been available to answer any queries in a helpful and professional capacity, work carried out on budget and in a timely fashion. Excellent value for money, would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I contacted APG to request a quote for a new boiler, to remove a radiator and move another and add valves to the existing radiators. Chris came out and gave us a couple of quotes for an expensive option and budget. No pressure to go with either and was impressed with his knowledge. We arranged the work and Harry and George did an excellent job of the fitting. They worked to timescales, left everything neat and tidy and were very polite. Harry phoned to give us an update at the end of each day. Can’t fault the service.

I would highly recommend this company. I contacted them to get a new quote for a boiler replacement after my current boiler maintenance company (Your Repair) stated that the boiler was beyond economic repair. Chris came to do the quote and after a quick look said he thought it could be repaired. He contacted one of the service engineers who arrived next day and said that a valve needed replacing. I got a price for this same day gave go ahead and work done next day. Happy customer. Will definitely use this company to replace the boiler when it needs to be done.

This time, we needed a qualified electrician to fit a replacement cooker hob. We contacted APG, as we knew their standard of work and we trusted them. They sent an electrician in to assess the job, and to confirm that the rating was suitable. I received a quote and arranged an appointment to fit. Two electricians came, on time and were polite, well-presented, efficient and extremely careful and methodical in their work, ensuring surfaces were covered. They checked the operation of the hob, and made sure we were happy before they left. We asked about paying, and they explained we would receive an invoice in the next few days, and told us how to make payment!

Found this company through recommendation and reviews on this website. Our first experience with them, but easy to see why they are a Which Trust Trader. From our first contact, through to completion of work the company has been excellent. Chris came as arranged to talk through options and advise us about the 7 (very old) radiators we wished to replace. We were sent a detailed quote for the work the next day, which we accepted and a date was fixed. On the day, James arrived as arranged and was absolutely brilliant, completing the work efficiently and carefully. Everything was left tidy and he explained everything on completion and also tested the system to ensure everything was working. He was supported by other members of the team when necessary. It all happened like clockwork! this was the first time we have used this company, but we would certainly be happy to use them again and recommend them to others as well.

Having dealt with APG for a number of years, having fitted new boilers to both mine & my parents properties, it was time to service my parents boiler. I arranged with Customer Services for an appointment 9am - 12noon. The engineer duly arrived around half nine, very politely mannered & calm. Explained the procedure & with great efficiency carried out the service. No mess, no clearing up after him & on his way with a cheery goodbye. Excellent service from start to finished.

Following our boiler breakdown a plumber arrived within 4 hours of ringing APG, unheard of these days. The plumber was excellent, diagnosed the problem in minutes and fixed it within 30 minutes. No pressure to upgrade or buy a service contract. A credit to the firm.

Yet another excellent piece of work by APG. They have done plumbing and electrical work for me over the last three years and have always been excellent. The office staff are very obliging and willingly sort any issues. The technicians are highly proficient and professional. Their interaction with me has always been first class, friendly and cooperative.

Booking dealt with efficiently, engineer was prompt, polite and checked things during the service that no other gas engineer has bothered with in my 20 years as a homeowner. I had a radiator to be fitted which I had purchased. I called APG and an engineer came out and assessed the work and the radiator was fitted shortly afterwards. The engineer who fit the radiator was a credit to the company. He discussed the best way to fit the radiator with me, was polite and hard working and made sure the room was left clean and tidy. I would highly recommend APG and will certainly use them in future

Our current boiler system was around 35 years old with an old tank hidden in a cupboard upstairs and a boiler around 10 years old in the kitchen that was reaching the end of its usable life. Chris from APG came out to view our old system and explained what options were available to bring our heating and water system into modern times. We chose a Worcester Bosche Combi Boiler which fitted into a small kitchen cupboard hidden away and all brand new pipework and flue. We no longer needed a tank so this was removed and all old materials and boiler were taken away. Once the new system was in place we were given a user demo by their installer who carefully explained what each function did on the boiler. Harry and George of the Installation Team for APG were punctual, knowledgeable and very clean and tidy with their work. Everything was taken away at the end and there was no mess whatsoever for us to clean. We've had the new system in place for a few days now, instant hot water, a far more efficient heat through our radiators and we are really pleased with our investment of a new modern system. I fully recommend APG for their reliability and knowledgeable employees and trust in the work they complete.

Carried out power flush of central heating system and cylinder. All work carried out to agreed schedule and in a very professional manner. Genuine, honest company to deal with, all staff I dealt with a credit to the company. Will definitely use again.

I have used APG for many years for servicing and repairs. Their work is always done to a high standard and the engineers are reliable, polite and good at explaining technical issues. They also respond promptly to an emergency.

Callum and James came to carry out a bathroom refurbishment, mainly taking a bath out and replacing it with a shower, new flooring and some work on the toilet, although there were a couple of setbacks which were nothing to do with them they approached the work confidently. Their work was of a highly professional standard and we were very happy to have them in our home. They were courteous and considerate at all times. Also Howard who came to measure and price the work, came back to answer a couple of queries that set our mind at rest, he too was patient, kind and courteous towards us.

Quickly responded to my call concerning a leaking cold water storage tank, arrived within the hour, made an assessment and temporary fix until replacement tank fitted as arranged. Very polite, tidy and helpful engineers/plumbers, high-quality supply and fit, all old materials taken away. Will use again if required. Thank you.

Requested an Engineer to rectify a problem with my gas boiler. He arrived approximately 1 hour after my call, brilliant service. Problem was solved very quickly, happy customer. Will definitely use again should I need to, Thank you

From quote to fixing of our solar panels and battery storage system everything has been perfect. APG quoted us one week and started work the following week. All the workers have been very courteous and patient with us as we asked questions (as solar power is a totally new concept to us). They tidied up every day and on completion of the work you couldn't tell that they had been. We are so pleased with every aspect of the installation and would have no hesitation in recommending APG to anyone. Well done guys!

I have used APG before to install a solar PV system several years ago and so asked for a quote to install a new oil fired Combi boiler to replace a very old range cooker/boiler. This included fitting /replacing several radiators, updating the hot water system and removing all the redundant equipment. The quote was very detailed and competitive (unlike some others I received). All the work has been completed as specified with no increase to the price quoted despite a few extra parts being needed. The installers, James and Matt were a pleasure to have working in our house and were helpful, polite and keen to ensure that we were pleased with the work and that everything was fitted to our entire satisfaction. The standard of work has been excellent and I would thoroughly recommend APG as a company to deal with.

I have had home solar panels with battery back up installed and can not fault the 1st class service and installation. I always base my reviews on whether I would want/trust the company to enter my own parents home. The installation team and staff on the end of the phone are polite, understanding and considerate to your needs,wants and requirements. I have already and will continue to recommend APG to anyone who is requiring their expertise.
