Applewood Kitchens

Applewood Kitchens provided us with a first-class service for our kitchen and utility room refurbishment, overseen by the very efficient Sarah and very enthusiastic Scott, who won't relax until he has another happy customer. From the design stage (Janaye was very friendly and knowledgeable and provided us with some useful suggestions) through to project completion we always felt that everything was under control. As Applewood undertook all aspects of the project management, and as we went with the people they recommended for building work, installation and flooring, the process was pretty seamless. All the people at each stage were friendly, efficient and professional. A special mention has to go to Matt and Martin, the kitchen fitters, who were perfectionists in all that they did. Any minor issues which arose (inevitable in a project such as this) were resolved promptly and to our satisfaction. One other point worth mentioning is that as we had our appliances replaced at the same time (hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer), Applewood was happy to sell them to us at trade price - a significant saving. We would recommend Applewood wholeheartedly for anyone looking to get a fantastic new kitchen.

With a blank canvass, Scott put forward some helpful options for our new kitchen. Having settled on the final design, from thereon, everything went according to plan. Nothing was too much trouble when, partway through, we requested some modest changes. Furthermore, we had to postpone the fitting date and they again demonstrated flexibility. The materials arrived as scheduled, closely followed by the installer who was meticulous and tidy in his work. Templating of the granite worktops was then undertaken and 1 week later our new kitchen was completed, and we are absolutely delighted!

Really good experience from start to finish. The kitchen was planned to suit my requirements and height. The kitchen fitter Andrew Wheeler was meticulous and ensured everything was finished to a high standard. The recommended building company Mega Group were excellent and I employed them to carry out a complete refurbishment of the ground floor. Luminous Marble who fitted the quartz worktops were very skilled and professional. Tyne flooring did a great job fitting the Amtico flooring throughout the ground floor. Bradley Betts provided a very high standard of decorating. The Company kept in touch throughout the whole process and communication was excellent.

A belated thank you to Janaye and the Applewood team. Following a recommendation by a friend who had an Applewood kitchen fitted 10 years ago, we were introduced to Janaye who immediately made us feel at home. During several months of decision making and fine tuning, including incorporating part of our old kitchen, Janaye provided excellent guidance, honesty and unlimited patience throughout. Nothing was too much trouble despite contstant indecision on our part, changes of mind and not conforming to the "norm". Along the way there were a couple of hitches but each was promptly solved by the team; nothing was too much trouble. The kitchen was fitted precisely on time by Applewood fitters; professional, courteous, neat and tidy. 6 months down the road we still pinch ourselves having achieved our dream of a new beautiful kitchen which works perfectly and adds the finishing touch to our new extension. We cannot recommend Applewood highly enough.

We used Applewood for a complete refit of our kitchen. They provided design services, surveying, ordering and fitting of the kitchen. They also linked us to their trusted contractors for building, flooring and decorating services. It was a pleasure to work with Applewood throughout - from design (where we went back several times after changing our minds) through to finish. They provided responsive, attentive and accommodating customer service from start to finish. Applewood also oversaw the scheduling of the work including the work of the contractors that we had engaged directly, making the process much less work for us than we had expected. Their fitters and contractors performed excellent work to a very high standard and were polite and easy to have in the property. The quality of the work was exceptional, and we couldn't be happier with the materials and appliance choices that they recommended. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

We recently had a new kitchen installed by Applewood Kitchens. The kitchen is superb and the installation process was just as described. Sarah Husband project managed their trusted partners and completed everything in 4 weeks as planned. They also met the budget we set. We would have no hesitation in recommending Applewood Kitchens to anyone thinking of kitchen replacement. They do what they promise. Scott visited us at home and brought some sample panels to let us see the way our new kitchen might look. He guided us on choices of cabinets, worktops, sink, taps and appliances, recognising our wish to have easy access to everything (less bending and stretching). He also referred us to their trusted partners for building work, flooring and finishing/decoration. Work started as planned with ripping out the existing kitchen, preserving a few components such as the Aga. The team from Mega (the Adam’s) spent a day removing everything and left the kitchen stripped back to bare walls, floor and ceiling. They plastered, laid a flat floor and installed the electrics and plumbing. That was followed up by cabinet installation by Andy, flooring by PFS, worktops by Luminous Marble, appliance installation by Andy/Mega and finishing/decorating by Bradley. There were too many names to remember everyone, but without exception they were friendly, helpful and highly skilled at what they do. We have ended up with a lovely kitchen. Applewood did a great job. I retained some cupboard carcasses to keep the cost down. Applewood were flexible with this approach. Communication was clear, and any problems or snags dealt with promptly. I was originally going to keep my existing tiles, but Applewood advised against it and in retrospect this was excellent advice as the finish would not have been anywhere near as good without the replastering of the kitchen. I was glad they did not allow me to cut corners on this. Great customer service. Great team from design, survey and installation. Always turned up when arranged. Generally a smooth process from beginning to end. The quote they gave was a little more expensive than the others I had, but I feel I got the service and product that I paid for so glad I chose Applewood. Thanks to Sarah (project manager), Zoran (the designer), Tony (the surveyor), Adam (the builder for the plastering), Matt (the installer) and the rest of the team for guiding me so smoothly through the process and answering all my questions and concerns with patience.

He truly listened to my ideas and created a space that perfectly complements the barn style of my home while adding a sleek, modern edge. His creativity and attention to detail made the design process a breeze. Equally deserving of praise is Mark, the kitchen fitter, who was exceptional. His skill and precision during the installation was impressive, and he made sure everything was perfect down to the smallest detail. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free, with excellent communication throughout. The final result is stunning, and the quality of both the materials and craftsmanship is outstanding. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a seamless and professional kitchen renovation experience!

Absolutely delighted with my new kitchen installed by Applewood Kitchens! The whole process from design to installation and after care has been fantastic - everything was done to schedule despite the extensive construction works required, and the assistance from Applewood in recommending and coordinating all the other necessary trades was superb.
