Aquasmith

Aquasmith have provided us with a nice, new bathroom. Mario did all the work on his own, everything from removal of old bathroom and tiles to installation of new elements, tiling and electrics. He did all of this in a very calm and well organised manner, explaining each step and how long it would take. He was also very careful about cleaning up after his work. All old installations were piled in our driveway and removed on time, as promised. All work was done in the expected time frame and within the agreed budget. We might have needed a bit more help at the beginning with ordering items, but the workmanship is a good standard and we are very pleased with the result. Communication with Aquasmith was easy, and Mitchell responded instantly to all questions.

Aquasmith were recommended to us by neighbours, and we were delighted with the service provided. Mitchell made the whole process straightforward and stress-free. He kept a close eye on the job from start to finish, and helped us choose the best fixtures and fittings for us (accompanying us round the showrooms when we made our final choices). He ironed out any issues without delay, and responded by phone/email by return. Billing was transparent - the project was brought in on time and to budget. Mario, who did the work, was polite, courteous, and went out of his way to cause as little disruption as possible. He even hoovered the stairs each afternoon before leaving! His workmanship was excellent, nothing 'phased' him, and he was good at suggesting pragmatic solutions to issues arising. All in all, he was one of the best workmen we have had to do work on our house. So, from our experience, we can thoroughly recommend Aquasmith.

Aquasmith were excellent from start to finish. Mitchell came to see me within two days of my initial phone call to discuss my plans and advise on what was and was not possible and the best way to achieve it. He emailed an estimate to me the following day and I was able to accept and fix a date straight away for the work to start. Mitchell kept in touch and gave me a catalogue to choose the type of equipment I would like, as well as a link to a website for tiles. He then brought me some samples of possible tiles I had chosen and confirmed with me the bathroom furniture and equipment he suggested based on my choices. These were then ordered, to be delivered to me the day work was to start. The work started on time and the two fitters, Michael and Chris worked very hard and efficiently the whole time, always being considerate and keeping me informed of their progress, asking where I would like certain items fitted and offering suggestions and help. The house is old, the bathroom small and narrow, and plumbing required a considerable amount of work, as well as walls needing to be completely stripped back, a false wall added and the ceiling removed and replaced. They achieved all this with a minimum of fuss and to a very high standard and I would certainly recommend Aquasmith one hundred percent.

Aquasmith, including Mitchell, Chris and Michael were a pleasure to deal with. Works were carried out to a high standard and the finish and snagging was dealt with extremely professionally. The workmen were also very considerate in their dealings with us. Altogether, we were left very happy and would not hesitate to use Aquasmith again.

Converted my dated bathroom to a bright modern walk in shower as requested. All work performed promptly and to a high standard in the expected time frame and budget. They were very clean and tidy. I was very pleased with the service provided by Mitchel and his guys and there was good communication throughout. The work was carried out exactly to the agreed schedule, and we now have a fantastic bathroom - stepping into it is always a pleasure. At the outset, Mitchell went through the design of the bathroom with me in detail, advising me on the range of products that was available and would fit the room. The work started and completed on the agreed dates and there were no surprises in the invoice. The fitter, Jacek, was courteous and friendly, with an extremely strong work ethic. Throughout the job, he kept me informed of what was happening, and checked out critical details - for example, which way the shower door should open (my initial preference would have left it crashing into the WC!), location of toilet roll holder, etc. The work was much less disruptive than we had expected. Jacek vacuumed chippings, dust, etc as he went along. After he left each afternoon, there was no indication except the carpet protector of the work that was going on - the house was immaculate. The rubbish was all removed on the final day as agreed, without a trace left. We thoroughly recommend this company.

Fully fitted new bathroom. Aquasmith was super helpful right from the get go in terms of design considerations. Managed to get a slot to get the work done within a relatively short period of time. Very easy process of ordering materials and the work was done on time. We had a bit of additional work we wanted doing after the bathroom was finished, and Aquasmith was really helpful in getting that sorted. Overall good service, great value for money and really happy with our new bathroom

Cannot fault Aquasmith. A very professional outfit. They managed the project with regular visits and communication. He foresaw issues before they arose and gave sound advice and input. Clear communication re what is included and what is not. The fitter was incredible, jack of all trades and master of all too, very impressed. Worked all the hours, never off site and planned ahead. I was kept informed about what was happening, the next steps and what was needed from me, all in a timely manner. Highly recommend them. You definitely get what you pay for. Thank you.

We were delighted with our new bathroom designed by Mitchell & installed by Mario. Mitchell was incredibly helpful when it came to choosing & buying the bathroom furniture and tiles taking all the hard work out choosing the correct & appropriate furniture and amount of tiles for the floor & ceiling. Mario’s work was incredible - he was clean & tidy (not easy when you’re ripping out an old bathroom, including all the tiles) and he was very thorough and took great pride in his work. When a small problem arose, there wasn’t anything that Mitchell nor Mario would do to correct it. We were so impressed that we immediately booked them to upgrade our downstairs guest cloakroom! Aquasmith transformed a bathroom covered in mold with dangerous rotten floor boards into a beautiful, efficient, immaculate bathroom. Front start to finish, I was able to consult with the team at any time, was assisted in the necessary purchases, the scheduled date was met, and all done with a quiet professionalism.

This was the fourth job carried out for us by Acquasmith, the previous ones all being bathroom work. It involved the stripping out and complete replacement of our kitchen. Mario carried out all the previous work, so we asked for him again. As before, he carried out the work to a very high standard, and did his best to make the whole process as stress-free as possible for us. Likewise, Mitchell again supervised the work, and his calm, pragmatic manner helped the job go smoothly, including sorting out a few issues with the kitchen suppliers.

I'm absolutely delighted with my new bathroom. From the initial visit to completion of the work, including all the rubbish and waste being collected and removed, everything has been completed on time and to an exceptionally high standard. I feel like I now have to renovate the rest of the house to bring it closer to the standard of my bathroom. Old bathtub, shower, basin, tiles, panelling and WC were ripped out with the walls fitted with plasterboard as necessary and freshly tiled with a large walk in shower installed exactly as I wanted it. Mitchell took the time to understand what I wanted and the fitter, Jacek, worked extremely hard and patiently in a tight space and on some extremely hot days to deliver a beautifully designed and installed bathroom that exceeds my very expectations. I'm delighted with the result and highly recommend this contractor.

We received very good support in helping us select tiles bathroom furniture and fittings before the work started. The team that Mitchell, the owner of Aquasmith, assigned to the job were polite, courteous and tidy. There were a few issues that occurred during the installation, one which resulted in a delay to completion, but this was due to a problem with one of the supplied items. My wife and I if asked for a recommendation for bathroom fitters, would have no hesitation in recommending Aquasmith. If I was being mean I would only award 4 stars, but as the major issue was outside of their control, and communication over all the issues was excellent so 5!

Aquasmith have completely refurbished my 90 year old mum's bathroom so that she has an accessible shower and a bathroom that works as a whole. From the outset Mitchell was helpful and friendly and highlighted issues we needed to think about - we went to a number of specialist companies and although their advice was useful in clarifying what we needed in terms of accessiblity, they could not match the balance of practical know-how, flexibility or value for money from Aquasmith. Throughout the process we felt well supported - from checking ideas and coming up with a design that would work, through the choosing of the fittings that would work best for her (with good prices), linking in to other works that were needed to facilitate, and utlimately on the job itself where the work was done in the expected time, despite challenges, and with minimal mess (which was cleaned up completely at the end) even though space was at a premium. Everything was done to budget and within the agreed timescales. The bathroom is extremely small and my mum was anxious about managing the change from what she has been used to, but she is very happy with the outcome and so are we. We are very glad we chose Aquasmith.

We've recently had our rather antiquated bathroom completely refitted by Aquasmith. From the outset, and throughout the whole process, Mitchell provided invaluable support and guidance, helping us to balance the aesthetic and the pragmatic, ensuring that the project resulted in exactly what we wanted. He was able to substantiate our design choices and inform us of the limitations of certain aspirational ideas, providing realistic lead times for materials, and helping us to manage deadlines. The actual work on the bathroom itself was carried out by Mario, who is the most skilled, conscientious, and helpful tradesman I've encountered. Invariably, owing to the age of our house, and the imprecise nature of its construction, there were numerous challenges that needed to be overcome in order to create a flawless finish. Mario was able to solve all of the issues that the house threw at him; tapering walls to straighten tile alignment and accommodate large thermo-regulating controls; moving waste pipes to ensure the floor remained totally level etc. He would discuss every single solution with us to ensure that we were happy with the approaches, and I'm certain that without his level of knowledge and craftsmanship things wouldn't have turned out as perfectly as they have. There was so much support throughout the whole experience, and I think the most reassuring aspect was the trust that was built with Mitchell and Mario. We'll definitely be using Aquasmith again.

I recently got my bathroom renovated to a high spec. Prior to work done, Mitchell brought me to select tiles and products for the toilet. While he was there he gave me all the advice I needed. Mitchell's team were very professional and extremely friendly. I happened to be away on holiday and the team were in constant contact with me throughout the work and took pictures for me on their progress. They took care of my home and ensured everything was tidy after. Mitchell also helped me get things refunded for things which I didn't need anymore and also additional leftovers. The price may be slightly higher than others but you know you will get quality especially with a company that has been around for so many years. At the end of the work, the team surprisingly gave me a free squeegee. I thought it was a really genuine nice touch which I have never encountered. Well done to the team.

We moved into our current house 23 years ago and the first thing we said was "we must do something about that bathroom". It's taken us 23 years to get round to doing anything but the result was certainly worth the wait and all the research that had gone into it. Mr Mitchell of Aquasmith certainly understood what we wanted and offered excellent advice followed by first class work and a timely completion. Highly recommended and I would certainly use Aquasmith again.

After some research, I invited Mitchell from Aquasmith to quote for replacing my bathroom. I immediately felt at ease with Mitchell, he was very professional and helpful with various suggestions and options for the work. Although his quote was not the cheapest, I decided to proceed as I had confidence that the work would be completed satisfactorily; I am pleased to say that I do not regret that decision and I am delighted with my lovely new bathroom. Mitchell assisted with the purchase of the new fittings, which was much appreciated and saved me a lot of worry over what I needed to buy. The fitter Jacek was not only extremely good at his job, he was also punctual, courteous and tidy. He worked very hard to get the job completed within the quoted timescale, dealing with electrics, tiling and painting as well as the actual bathroom fittings, in a bathroom with uneven walls and a sloping ceiling! The standard of his work is excellent. An issue with the wrong bath being delivered (beyond Aquasmith's control) was dealt with swiftly so that it did not delay completion. I would have no hesitation in engaging Aquasmith again.

Working with Mitch and his team was an absolute pleasure. We needed to refit our family bathroom and were impressed with Mitch's knowledge and ideas for the layout changes. We had a quote quickly and everything was documented clearly so we had no surprises when the work started. Everything was arranged prior to the work starting and the fitter Jaeck was very punctual, respectful, skilled and clean. The work finished exactly when it was supposed to. He has a very warm and easy manner and always seems to be able to answer his phone immediately; a rare thing, even among trusted traders. Just two hours after his initial visit he emailed a quote which turned out to be accurate. Throughout the whole process he always responded to our wishes and queries; giving very helpful advice and suggestions. He actually made a visit with us to showrooms to help us choose our bathroom furniture and materials; giving us very sound advice. His immense knowledge and experience was demonstrated by how little material was left over at the end. I have to add that I have never seen a more hardworking and skilled craftsman as Mario who fitted the bathroom and completed the work well before the estimated time to an extremely high standard. This is the 2nd time I have engaged Mitchell of Aquasmith to totally refurbish a room for me. In January this year it was my bathroom and this August/September, it was my 30 year old kitchen! The results were exactly the same, absolutely stunning work to an incredibly high standard. Started & finished the project on time and with the minimum of mess & fuss. Jacek left everything neat & tidy every day before going home, which was very much appreciated. Communication was excellent, as I was updated continually with the progress of works and what to expect and when.
