I discovered late on Friday morning that I hadn't organised flooring for my shower room so popped into a national chain who didn't seem at all interested At my wits end I called Ashby Carpest spoke to a gret chap who said as long as I had it ordered by 3pm on Friday it could be fitted on Monday.... I drove to the shop, selecetd the flooring and Kieran arrived this mornig morning to fit it. The whole experience has been great, speedy service, great product and they cared about me as a customer. Pop into the shop and see the range of floorings it;s far larger than you'd think. They can do it all remove old flooring, install gripper rods and fit. All you need to do is decide what you fancy! I'd recommend them without hesitation

We asked for advice on suitable carpeting for stairs, landing, bathroom and study. Chris Ashby gave us a sampler to take home to check colour options and measured up for a quote within a day. The carpets were fitted efficiently on two dates we chose. The workmanship was excellent and we are very happy with the results.

Fitters replaced flooring in the bathroom following a refit. the Fitters arrived on time, were very polite and did an excellent job. The service was excellent from start to finish, I'm very happy to recomend this company to anyone looking for new flooring or carpets.

Excellent job done by fitter from Ashby Carpets, and really pleasant to do business with the shop to choose carpet and then have an offcut edge-bound to use as a rug elsewhere. Having previously taken my carpet offcuts to them to be made into doormats and larger area rugs as the prices were reasonable, I again took my latest off-cuts to be turned into rugs with edging as before. I explained to staff exactly what I required and was quoted £15 per rug based on the shapes and small sizes I wanted. I accepted this price as it was not expensive especially considering that I was bringing in my own carpet and I had recently purchased a similar shaped rug online for £22 I collected my rugs a week later & instead of being charged £30, my invoice with no breakdown of costs was for £81.80. That is more than I paid for the whole carpet which was purchased to replace a bedroom carpet. I queried this and was given a ‘story’ about them having to take the carpet away to cut the shape, plus the shipping cost and apparently my bill was going to be over £100 but they didn’t charge me for cutting a circle as that’s also a difficult shape. None of these additional costs were stated to me at any point whilst I was in their store nor during the six days they had my carpet off-cuts. No one called at any point to ask if I would be happy to go ahead with these new and inflated charges As the owner was away, I had to wait until he returned before they could look at the charges. I heard nothing so chased again today. The response was more of the same with an offer to refund me £20. This is an insult. My refund should be £50.80 I won’t be using their services ever again

The whole process through to final installation was very smooth. Service was very friendly most helpful. The fitting was done with the minimum of disruption and the team were excellent and very efficient. I have used Ashby a number times and I would highly recommend this company.

We recently bought a home with some dated flooring and needed a company to refit flooring throughout. I tried a few of the national names, but was keen to work with a local business and was referred to Ashby by my brother who had a good experience too. Ashby were fantastic throughout - from finding the exact carpet style and hard floorings we wanted, through good communication in the planning stage, and an outstanding fitting experience. The team were extremely hard working, and the quality of installation is outstanding. Additionally, the cost of the work was considerably more competitive than any of the national competition. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone looking for flooring.

Work was done very efficiently. Several months earlier company tiled kitchen floor and utility room. This work was done extremely well and my wife was pleased with the result.

I've used Ashby Carpets several times in the last few years to fit carpet and Marmoleum. Most recently Marmoleum in the kitchen. It looks amazing, the fitters did a great job with the minimum fuss and inconvenience to us. They worked efficiently, as always, were friendly and happy to answer any questions and the job was completed on time. Also, covid-19 compliant. I'm more than happy to recommend them.

Supplied and fitted our main bedroom carpet, removed the old one and took away all the waste, really nice nice guys, even hoovered the stairs on their way out. Definitely happy to recommend.

We chose Karndean flooring. We had a 3 rooms fitted and it took two days as expected. Wow, the effect is fantastic, we absolutely love it! Ashby provided a fantastic service. Customer service and follow up is outstanding. We had a couple of small fitting issues, but the company rectified them as quickly as possible and, given the issues around having to close and supplies during Covid they still managed to make sure we were kept informed and happy. Its a family business, so they take responsibility for everything, from start to finish. I would certainly recommend them and will definitely go back for future projects.

We were arranging for Karndean in our bathroom when coronavirus struck and things were put on hold. Once the shop reopened we had measurements taken by Michael all done within a safe environment. Arrangements for fitting were very smooth and the fitters completed a very neat and quick job with no mess and again within a Covid safe setting. We are extremely pleased with the end result and would recommend both Ashby and Karndean.

We have used Ashbys Carpet & Flooring with a carpet we needed in 2019 and were so impressed with the service from both the shop and fitters, that when we wanted a new look for our downstairs bathroom it was our first stop. We wanted something different and we were advised what to use and given many sample books to look through. They came today to put vinyl on both the floor and walls to give it a totally different look. We couldn't be happier with the finished result. They we absolutely professional and a lot quicker than I expected. Will definitely be using for our other bathrooms and any future flooring needs.

15 years ago, we had Ashby Carpets do our flooring throughout the whole house. We were very happy with their service. This time when we wished to change our flooring, we never looked elsewhere. We had them again. And again we are very happy with their work, professionalism and quality. We had some issues with our fitting schedule, they were so patient and went out of their way to help us. Chris and Michael at the office took care of all my queries, and Mark, Kieran, Michael and Tom took care of all the fittings. They have done a really wonderful job. We have recommended them to our friends and neighbours already. :)
