Our 28 year old boiler finally had to be replaced as the part required to repair was obsolete. Aston Cord attended to diagnose the fault and did their best to source the required part, but it was not possible. The following day their estimator attended to quote for a replacement boiler, and the day after that the engineer arrived to start the work. The work was completed in 2 days as promised and at the price quoted, including deducting the cost of the original call out from the installation. They were very efficient and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Aston Cord were contacted along with three other companies for a quote for a pressurised hot water system. Aston Cord responded quickly to arrange a survey. This was done by an expert who knew every aspect of the type of work we required. A detailed quote was provided which proved to be very reasonable. The work was done on time and exactly on budget. It was a complicated job in a large Victorian house which presented some challenges. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was left spotless, carefully checked and detailed instructions provided. Since then the system has worked even better than their specification until we had a problem with no hot water . A call to them in the morning resulted in a visit within 2 hours . They found the problem and corrected it within 20 minutes. The cause was due to unrelated work by other contractors! I have no hesitation in recommending Aston Cord especially if it is a complex job that must be done properly the first time .

Aston Cord has recently completed work on a bathroom refit (removing existing fittings, installing new bath/shower and sink) and the team has done a fantastic job. We had the pleasure of working with Steve and Martin on the project, both of whom we have worked with previously on another bathroom refit. On both occasions we have found the Aston Cord team to be absolutely brilliant - professional, patient, personable and producing exceptional work! I needed to find a plumber to fix an outside tap on my daughter in law’s house in Egham. As I live in Suffolk, I needed someone I felt I could trust to do a good job. Aston Cord were very prompt in talking to me. They provided a quote quickly and came across as Personable and helpful. The job was done quickly, and they made sure everything was clean and tidy after the job. My daughter in law felt the plumber was great as he turned up early, which she was very happy about, and was very pleasant. The invoice was in order. We called Aston Cord on the morning as our boiler went down. They travelled to two separate suppliers to collect the necessary parts at no added cost just so we could have our heating and hot water back on before we went away on holiday. This was the first time we used Aston Cord but i can promise it will not be the last! Highly recommended.

Aston Cord were very professional and efficient. They were prompt in arranging an appointment and carrying out the work. They fitted a new wireless thermostat, and thermostatic valves to our radiators. Previously, they had installed a new boiler. We are happy with their work and would definitely recommend the company.

I have been using Aston Cord for all my plumbing since 1990. The latest occasion was to fix my malfunctioning boiler. The service was up to the usual high standard, very efficient and no hidden surprises regarding cost. It took less than an hour to fix and the replacement part needed was carried by the engineer.

On a very cold day in November our central heating pump "expired'. Phoned Jason at Aston Cord who promised to ring back which he did within an hour. He then arranged for one of his engineers to attend the same afternoon. The work was carried out to a very high standard and we had a fully working central heating system back on line the same afternoon. Excellent service and we are now a regular and very satisfied customer of Aston-Cord. This company is highly recommended

I rang Aston Cord and they told me their costs etc. and arranged a next day visit to us. Their plumber rang to advise that he was on his way and arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable and fixed the problem in about half an hour. He gave me lots of advice about the boiler etc. And the cost was as advised. Will definitely use Aston Cord again, I was very satisfied with the service given by them.

Fast service rang at 7.30 operative arrived by mid morning and heating/hot water restored. Very happy with service, rang half an hour before they came.

I had a central heating system conversion and had a combi Boiler installed. The engineer was punctual and friendly and completed the work on time. Did a very neat job, cleared away all rubbish. Very pleased with the work and would definitely recommend.
