Autotechnics has been specialising in the service, repair and diagnostic testing of VW Audi group and German vehicles including BMW, Mercedes Benz since 1990.

We are delighted to be part of the Bosch Car Service Network. Took my car in at 8.30 as the dreaded engine warning light had come on. They said they'd try and fit it in even though they were extremely busy. Had a phone call from Ben at 1pm to say it was all sorted (misfiring on all cylinders needing new spark plugs) and it was ready to be picked up. I wasn't expecting it to be done that quickly so I'm obviously delighted.

I've been a customer of Autotechnics for more than 20 years now, with all sorts of cars worked on by them; throughout this time, their knowledge and enthusiasm has been consistently very high, as has their personal service and therefore I'd like to thank particularly Viv, Steve, Sarah and Jane, for looking after me and all my family's cars so well. I'd add that in my experience, no technical problem is too complex for the team - they like a challenge and I'm always impressed that if you describe an issue with a car, they normally say "that'll be the..." and sure enough it is! -that's what you need from a garage, in this busy world.

MOT and Service of 15 year old Jaguar estate. Traced and sorted electrical fault. Held car for me for a week whilst I was away. Used this garage for 5 years, always helpful and friendly. Charges are comparable to others, not excessive.

I have been a customer for approx. 10 years. My 20 year old Audi TT has been serviced, MOT tested and had remedial and running repairs done during this time. Viv, Steve and the team are knowledgeable, professional and execute any work to a very high standard; everything is explained clearly before work commences, sound advice given, permission sought so no unnecessary extras appear on the bill; the charges are competitive and reasonable. I have found everyone to be pleasant and courteous, not at all patronising which I appreciate as a female driver. I would not wish to take my much loved car to another outlet. Very pleased with the service. My car was collected from my home and returned by lunchtime. Advice was given that cambelt should be changed at either 140,000 miles or 5 years and I shall do this shortly. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Service on my van and MOT. Not able to do a class 7 MOT on site so took it to a local commercial center for me and waited for the work! Also a VERY reasonable service bill as always. I also use them for my elderly E39 5 series and they keep that in top condition, WITH NO UNNECESSARY WORK done if it is safe and in tolerance. Always welcome with an older car, they do know what they are talking about too! A pleasure to deal with and here's to the next Year. Steve Bid for bikes

I recently bought a 2010 Audi TT from a friend and had a major service plus two new tyres (competitively priced) to put it in tip top condition. Just had a successful MoT. Very impressed with the treatment from the staff.
