The engineer arrived promptly, a very pleasant gentleman, he was extremely thorough servicing our boiler, and explained clearly what he was checking, and the outcomes, and mentioned any work that might need doing in the future. I was surprised - and impressed - that he donned 'booties' when he came in, to protect our carpets (that's definitely a first!) I understand that we will receive a reminder when the next service is due - that's really helpful - and that we will be emailed our receipt and safety certificate. The price was very reasonable, and compared well (and in some cases very well) with other companies I approached. On the basis of this visit I would definitely recommend this company, and have no reservations about using them again in the future.

A shiney new boiler!

Engineer Kye did his best to repair our 11 year old boiler but it became clear that the final cost could not be justified. I received quotes for new boiler options from Mark and Helen the same day and placed an order with Donna the following day with a third deposit and was given an installation date of 14th/15th January. Work started at 9am day one and was completed 1pm day 2. The whole operation was flawless despite an awkward boiler location and we send our thanks to everyone involved. If you are considering a new boiler you may find a cheaper deal elsewhere but you will not find a better company than Beesons.

I opened my back door and noticed that water was pouring out of the overflow pipe. Didn't see it the day before as it was raining. Typical. I suspected the ballcock had failed in my header tank as this had happened before. I phoned Beeson and told them the problem and the earliest they could send someone was first thing the following morning. I was advised to turn my water off (I am on a water meter) and only put it on if I needed to. I duly looked at my meter and it was whizzing round so it was swiftly turned off. The following day, Dave from Beeson turned up. I pointed to the direction of the bathroom upstairs and with tools in hand he proceeded. Now bear in mind the header tank is above the emmersion heater in an airing cupboard so there is not much space above it to work in. Dave managed to overcome such adversities and in what seemed no time at all he was asking for the water to be turned back on but only half way. "Half way?" I ask. "Just in case theres a problem" was Dave's response. And a problem there was. Water gushed out the overflow pipe again. It turned out it was a valve in the toilet cistern that was the issue although it should be noted that the ballcock was on it's way out. Dave didn't have any replacement parts for the cistern so he took pictures of the valve (for future reference as it will need replacing), and he cleaned and descaled it as best he could. It works fine for now and I was charged what I was quoted. Dave, you're a star. Thank you.

Solved the mystery issue.

Bessons were able to assist with a plumbing issue which was not able to be diagnosed by another plumber. The engineer was very professional and polite and wore face mask, gloves and plastic shoe covers throughout. He was able to solve the mystery and the company came back with a quotation for the necessary works in a matter of minutes. I booked them straight in to service a unvented cylinder and they came back the next day and performed the service.

We wanted to replace our old central heating system in our old Victorian house. We contacted Beesons for a quote. From our first contact on the phone to the work being completed, the work has been exemplary. We received the quote the next day. We agreed a date in August for the work to be done. We had 2 men (should have been 3 but one had Covid). They arrived every single day for the next 6 days at 08.00 am and most days didn’t finish until 6.00 pm. One day it was nearly 7.00 pm. The men worked tirelessly and had such pride in their work. Every night they tidied up after themselves. My husband and I are elderly and on many occasions, we asked if they could assist us in moving heavy furniture. They obliged every time with a smile. The central heating system they installed is fantastic and it’s fabulous having a combi boiler with instant hot water. It was a big job as it entailed taking all the old radiators out, removing all the old water tanks, and the old boiler. The men even took all the cupboards out which housed the tanks. We also like the app which you can download on your mobile phone to control the system. Brilliant if you're returning from holiday and want to switch it on. They also replaced the floorboards with no creaking. Also, most of the pipework is hidden by conduits and installed where it cannot be seen. I cannot praise them enough. They are probably the best heating/plumbing engineers in town in our opinion.

Emergency action
After an incident where a water pipe was mistakenly drilled through. Dave Beeson, provided calming informative advice, initially by phone and facetime, before turning up at short notice on a Sunday afternoon. Dave fully explained what he was doing. Provided a part and fixed the leak. He then stayed and ensured the water system was fully working.

This company was recommended to me by my brother who also had a boiler fitted and he was really pleased with the service provided. I called for a quotation and David Beeson called round and assessed our requirements and later sent a quotation. The details were thoroughly explained and how the process would work. True to their word the lads turned up on the agreed day and over the next few days completed all the work as agreed. The staff covered all the carpets and wore over shoes. they were very polite, courteous and nothing was to much trouble. The support service (electrician and brick layer) also turned up as agreed and again an excellent job completed. We have also been very impressed by the support service provided by the office staff and management, which i am sure will be ongoing. Well recommended

On 24th April my wife smelled gas in the bedroom where our boiler is located. We called the gas emergency line, an engineer came out and found a leaking pipe. The boiler was isolated and the gas supply was capped off. The was around 9.40pm. Due to a recent family medical treatment, we need hot water and heating pretty much on demand. I called Beeson Plumbing & Heating Ltd at this late time and much to my surprise the call was answered by the owner, Dave Beeson. I explained our situation and he said he would get back to me the next morning at 7.30am when he could speak to his team and check the diary for availability. At exactly 7.30am on the 25th April, I received a call from one of the company's engineers Craig. He confirmed his availability and arrived at my door for 8am as arranged. He was polite and thorough and the whole job was completed in under an hour. No mess, no fuss but best of all, an old fashioned, diligent attitude and fully explaining to me what was being done. What a superb company to deal with.

I phoned Beeson Plumbers on a very cold Sunday morning, when our ‘Ideal’ heating stopped working. David Beeson called me back immediately and quickly identified the problem over the phone by asking a few key questions. He helped me to fix the problem over the phone as he was not in our local area. He spent 40 minutes on the phone explaining what I needed to do step by step. The issue was due to icy conditions and a frozen pipe. I was so relieved to solve the issue with David’s help. I appreciated the fact it was a Sunday morning on one of the coldest days in January, which without David’s expert advice could have ruined our weekend. He was very professional and explained everything thoroughly. Thank you for helping us, we would know what to do if this ever happened again.
