I found Belli Electrics through Which Trusted Traders. I had to wait 3 months because Rob was so busy, but I’m pleased that I did because his work has been excellent. The work involved an upgrade to my consumer unit with a check of all the circuits, a new socket circuit (part of a refurbishment project) and fixes for a couple of problems that I’d found since moving into the house last year. Rob’s quote was clear and detailed; he offered some options at extra cost but there was no pressure to accept them. On starting work, Rob found some more problems, affecting the shower and lights in the bathroom, and with the ducting for the extractor fan, so I agreed he should fix those too. Rob’s work was very tidy, and he was good at finding the best way to do things with the minimum amount of disruption. He explained everything clearly; this was particularly helpful regarding the extra problems he had found because I had to make quick decisions about the different options for putting them right. He provided an additional quote for the new products he needed to install. Because of the extra work, some re-scheduling was necessary, but he made sure that the sockets were installed so that my project stayed on track. Throughout I found Rob hard-working, easy to communicate with and happy to give advice. He sent the necessary certificates promptly and his invoice was true to his quote. I can wholeheartedly recommend Belli Electrics.

Rob undertook a variety of electrical jobs for us including the installation of two new ovens (including rewiring), replacing two bathroom extractor fans, upgrading bathroom ceiling lights, replacing a hardwired door bell with a camera doorbell and replacing two external security lights, one with an integrated camera. Rob was very professional at all times from providing a detailed estimate before the work commenced to effectively communicating progress. During the course of the work undertaken he identified that, in order the meet current safety standards, additional work was required due to issues with wiring from previous jobs. He clearly explained what the issues were and why he recommended that they should be fixed. He checked that we were happy with the changes to the estimate before starting the additional work. Customer service was first class and Rob checked that we were happy with each job before he moved on to the next one. Nothing was too much trouble. Rob is a polite, pleasant person who we felt very comfortable with being in our home.

My husband and I could not recommend Rob enough. He was extremely professional, yet friendly and explained everything in layman's terms for us. Originally booked in to do the required electrics on our kitchen renovation things became a bigger job when it was discovered we needed a full lighting rewire. Rob was very helpful in explaining what this involved and what needed to be done, as well as pointing out things we never knew in terms of the electrics in our house which needed sorting. His invoicing was clear and so easy to understand, whilst also making recommendations on certain items such as the new consumer unit. Rob is thorough and extremely competent at what he does and we would not hesitate to use him again.

Rob completed a re wire in our Victorian home. He gave us a really clear detailed quote, which he changed according to our changes of mind. Work was completed according to the quote; on budget and time. Rob communicated with us very clearly before, during and after the work, accommodating our changes and questions. We were impressed by his attention to safety and he identified issues which we would not have been aware of. Very grateful and would highly recommend Rob.

Rob dealt with a fault-finding problem at the house after one of two wall lights in the living room blew a bulb, following which neither light would work even with new bulbs. Rob was very thorough in his assessment of the problem, and clearly explained what checks he was making and why. When inspection of the fuse box, wall lights, ceiling lights and switch failed to pinpoint the cause, he accurately identified that the fault was likely to be in the junction box (which it was), advising exactly where could be found in an old property that had been re-wired a long time ago! I found Rob friendly, reliable, and very professional in all aspects of his work, starting from initial contact to discuss the problem, the charges involved, and arrangements to visit the property; through to putting the fault right and billing for the work done, always informing me and explaining if there were any delays along the way. I’d have no hesitation in contacting Rob again to do further electrical work for me or in recommending him to other customers.

Rob carried out a full rewire on our house to an exceptional standard. He was friendly and very helpful in answering our questions, of which we had many as first time buyers. He was always happy to help and went above and beyond in his service pointing out various bits of useful information about the house and what would work best electrically. His quote and invoice was also very transparent. It was clear what the cost of each aspect of the work was. This was a notable exception to other quotes we received and was very reassuring and enables us to budget for additional items. We contracted Rob add new plug sockets and change existing ones to doubles as well as add a network point and change the consumer unit. Rob is extremely professional, friendly and reliable. His advice throughout the whole job was second to none. He gave us options and recommendations on our quotes. We would not hesitate to use Rob again, or recommend him to others.

We had a great experience with Rob, who installed new LED light units under our kitchen cabinets. The original lights had stopped working a long time ago, and after assessing the situation, he suggested an affordable, high-quality solution. This was a big commitment and Rob's calm approach stood out from the other quotes; he listened to what I wanted and suggested alternatives without pushing for things I didn't need. Rob did a number of jobs for me after I moved into a new place (consumer unit, light fittings, new sockets, extractor fan, electric heaters, etc.). The service he provides is top quality, and he always has an eye on safety too, which gives you good peace of mind.
