I recently had extensive refurbishing work done in my flat by Krystoff, and I couldn’t be happier. He’s polite, knowledgeable, and his workmanship is excellent. One thing I really appreciated was his flexibility. If I changed my mind about something, even partway through, he took it in his stride without any frustration. I also valued his problem-solving approach, instead of saying something couldn’t be done, he found smart solutions, which was a huge help when I faced a couple of major issues. Krystoff also sources the best materials and doesn’t cut any corners, which gave me real confidence in the quality of his work. He’s reliable, thorough, and genuinely takes pride in what he does. I’d highly recommend him and will definitely use his services again

Krzysztof and Robert refurbished my bathroom in September 2024. They have a wide range of skills for such projects including plumbing, tiling, and electrical work, and they were able to make custom modifications such as extending the wall of a cupboard so I can fit my washing machine in this part of the bathroom. Krzysztof has a lot of experience and knowledge. He made good recommendations to help me choose and order the right equipment. They have done a very good job with my bathroom, so I asked them to come back to refurbish my kitchen in February 2025. They found that the old electric cables were not right. They are flexible and were able to change the plan to address the problem. We decided to replace all the electric cables in the kitchen to get everything right. He brought an electrician to test the whole electric installation and he issued a certificate of compliance. I am very satisfied with my new bathroom and kitchen. I recommended Benco Builders to my neighbour and they have done very similar work for him as well. Highly recommended.

I would definitely recommend Benco builders for indoor refurbishment and revamps of domestic property. In a comprehensive revamp everything is not going to end up perfect, you are bound to regret something or wishing you had something done another way. However, Benco builders gave an excellent service. They are a small local friendly firm of two guys, Krzysztof, who is in charge and Robert. Also Krzysztof’s wife provides crucial assistance. However, Krzysztof obviously has a wide circle of contacts in the trade and gets others involved where necessary, e.g. with the electrical and gas certification, which I had done on Krzysztof's recommendation. Krzysztof has extensive knowledge of working methods and gives excellent analysis of how he intends to fix snagging issues, and on how to move things forward. I would say if you want things done very quickly, in a very proscribed manner Benco may not be for you, go for 'Cheap and Cheerful' However, if you want a quality job, they work hard, know what they are doing, are trustworthy and you can let them get on with it. Krzysztof is quite relaxed and seems to have the ability to project manage any comprehensive internal refurbishment of kitchens, bathrooms and so on, including pipework, plumbing, electrics and gas. They also clean up and put protectors everywhere. Value for money? Well, they are not cheap, but they do the business and I think you get what you pay for. Their work was consistently very good to excellent.

This is the fourth time we've used Krzysztof and his team for projects around our house. This time he did a single storey kitchen extension for us, and the experience was great. He was very good at communicating throughout the project, making sure we were aware of what he was doing and guiding us on decisions. The extension has been finished to a very high standard and we are very pleased with the results. We highly recommend Krzysztof and will definitely use him again for future projects.

Benco were straighforward, thorough and reliable throughout the process, from initial quotation to completion of the job. Communication was excellent and they were also proactive and helpful when additional challenges arose. The house was left tidy at the end of each day, and at the end of the job, and the bathroom now looks fantastic.

Kryzstof and team are exceptionally skilled and professional in their work. They have done a complete refurb of my bathroom and kitchen, I am very happy with the result, it has transformed these spaces. Krystof discussed any problems with the build as they arose and always found a great solution. Krystof is always happy in taking on additional tasks during the build. The team work quickly and always clean up at the end of the day.

Kryzstof and Robert are very professional and the work is of a high standard. The area they are working on is left as clean and tidy as possible. They are both knowledgeable and have a lot of work experience hence gave us advice on special needs aids and were able to help with the layout of the bathroom to make it easier for my elderly parents. Everyone that uses the bathroom comments on how lovely it looks and how well it has been done. I would definitely recommend them. The upstairs bathroom was completed several months ago. Now they are working on the downstairs bathroom and kitchen. I will write another review once that work is complete. Do not hesitate to use this company

Krzysztof and his team demolished a small pantry area and outhouse, and built a new kitchen extension. He provided an itemised quote and discussed every aspect with us, and any necessary adjustments as they arose. He and his team were efficient and incredibly hard working. We were living on site and they took care to minimise disruption and clean up at the end of the day. Krzysztof is thoughtful and thorough and extremely professional. We wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

I am very happy with the work Krzysztof did for me and I highly recommend him. He is very professional and knows his stuff. He manages his team very well and the way he coordinates the different tasks and people is very impressive. I feel that the work done was very thorough, particularly in areas that can create a lot of issues like plumbing and electrical work. He kept to the time and budget agreed and was flexible in taking additional tasks; he recommended suppliers and always responded to my calls and requests, in a straightforward and sincere manner - rare qualities within the industry.

Krzysztof Bednarski, owner of Benco, had re-plastered our flat before we moved in in October 2022 after re-wiring left the walls in a fairly poor state. When asked if he could re-fit the kitchen he was very helpful and able to commit to doing the work in a reasonable time frame. Kryzsztof liaised with Howdens, the firm we chose to supply/design the cabinets, from start to finish, made some useful suggestions for minor modifications and generally with his team did a thoroughly good job. They were hard working, pleasant to have in the flat, always clean and tidy removing rubbish daily and mindful of any mess on the communal stairs and passage. The existing kitchen units were all removed, some plumbing re-sited, necessary electrical work undertaken and walls and ceiling re-plastered. Time and budget wise they kept to the original quotation. When all the fitting work was done a member of the team made sure everything, including the window, was clean and ready to use.
