Rapid response to our washing machine problem. New one required, which they supplied and installed within a week. Our experience with Bews Electrical has always been good.

Called out Bews for issues with my 20 year old Neff dishwasher. Have previously used them on other issues, always successfully. Engineer very helpful, found problem, but beyond repair as parts no longer held. No issues with Bews; excellent as always.

An exceptional company to deal with. A real feeling of trust and superb knowledge of appliances. Very polite, prompt service, very good prices and keep you informed of timings. Gives very sound advice along with some great tips as to how to get the best out of the appliances. More than a match for John Lewis or any other store. Nothing seems to be too much trouble but most of all it is the obvious amount of knowledge Mr Bews has in particular for Miele appliances. Would thoroughly recommend - a gem of a small family business - loved all the tips and tricks from the 3 appliances he provided and installed. Thank you so much.

My dishwasher packed up and they quickly sent an engineer round who was very friendly and knowledgeable. He diagnosed a faulty electronics board which made the machine beyond economic repair. I ordered a new one and it was brought and fitted the next day. I was very impressed with their service and as I had been thinking for some time about replacing my ancient gas hob with an induction one I ordered one from them. The one I selected was not available for 2 weeks but as soon as it arrived they sent round a gas approved installer as well as a qualified electrician. They capped off the old gas supply, cut the hole in the worktop to suit the new hob and connected it all up. They worked quickly and efficiently and the whole job was done in no time. I highly recommend Bews Electrical.

We had a noisy fan on our microwave. After an initial inspection it was agreed to fit a replacement fan under warrantee. A few days later the fitter arrived with the new fan which he fitted efficiently and he also took the opportunity to update the software in the machine. No fuss all round first class service.

A family-owned business, Bews was recommended by my in-laws. Booking an engineer was a friendly, efficient and easy process. On arrival, the Engineer had established the problem right away. With the use of an old toothbrush and washing up liquid, he cleaned the filter that was causing the problem. A 10 minute job. A little embarrassing, as my search on ‘Miele didn’t reveal this approach to resolve the issue, and if I had known, I would not have needed a call out. However, the engineer identified another issue, which was more apparent . He fixed the problem by replacing the worn part. Great customer service and highly recommended.

Telephone response was very pleasant and helpful. Job done quickly and efficiently by two engineers who couldn't have been nicer.

New washing machine to replace our very old Bosch machine which was now leaking. The lady at Bews recommended a Miele model ref WED325 which would suit our needs as my wife did not want too many washing options ie just a basic model. She also said there was a £100 cash back offer on with Miele and a free 6 month washing detergent supply so have just applied for it but the free washing detergent offer is now not available - so a little disappointed with that! It was installed by Robert who was very good and efficient bearing in mind the old one had not been moved out for years and then after the new installation ran through all the washing options for us etc. Haven't used it yet with washing - just tested it empty but big day tomorrow!

Good communication, friendly team, and successful repair of my microwave. I would recommend them and happily use them again.

I have used Bews Electrical for over 20 years which is testament itself to the service they provide. My freezer stopped working and they realised that a prompt replacement was required. The back office was excellent in telling me the various options and ordering asap. I eventually ordered a side-by-side and the installation was also excellent. In summary, I have found that the advice I get from Bews Electrical is excellent, their prices are competitive as they install, their engineers who install are well trained and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending them as I have never had any issue in 20 plus years. They are my Go-To electrical supplier for quality products.

The engineer contacted me to give and ETA and arrived on the pre-estimated time. he was very experienced and knowledgeable about Miele products. The repair to my appliance was completed efficiently and completely resolved the problem.

Our Miele dishwasher is 21 years old so it should perhaps be no surprise when the spring that controls the door opening and closing suddenly disconnected one day. The dishwasher still functioned fine but great care was needed when opening and closing the door. Mr Bews himself came to do the repair and clearly knew exactly what he was doing - the repair did involve moving the machine out from under the worktop and opening the outer panels so it took a little time for a fairly simple replacement of the part. He then took great care to set the machine up again and restore it to its position. We have had previous experience of Bews Electrical when our tumble dryer (also 20 years old) needed replacement and were equally happy with the service on that occasion. We can thoroughly recommend them as a company.

Very good service arrived at the time agreed cleaned up very well after completing the repairs will use this company again.

We started using Bews when we needed our washer machine repaired at the old house. Since then we've purchased a few Miele products from them and they've been out for a few repairs. The team are all very helpful and friendly. This time round, Peter was removing & replacing a fully integrated dishwasher. He took the time to make sure everything was working and demonstrated the unit before leaving. A very different experience to ordering and the unit just left for you to unbox and sort out for yourself.. When another product needs replacing, I'll be contacting Bews first!

We were referred to Bews by a friend who has used them for many years. All the team are helpful and responsive and a pleasure to deal with. No more so than the man himself, Peter Bews. We had 3 appliances installed and one to come. Peter was able to work around the quirks of our kitchen and find a solution. Definitely recommend the Bews team.

Paul worked diligently to find and rectify the problem with our tumble drier, gave me clear explanations of what he was doing and why, cleared up after his work and left me reassured that the appliance was working properly again. He also assured me that, should the problem reoccur, I could expect prompt service to follow.

Following the demise of our beloved Miele Steamer, Bews Electrical came to the rescue. They were prompt, kept you up to date on the progress and the engineer was very friendly and thoughtful, unfortunately he was unable to execute the repair on his initial visit, required spares etc. However the repair was finally executed, and we are now left with a satisfactory steamer. Great thanks to the Bews team. Maybe until the next time.

Peter from Bews Electrical has supplied and looked after my electrical appliances since 2010 . He has just supplied me with an integrated microwave and a new integrated oven. Excellent service from this company, both supplying and repairing..

Bews have been maintaining my domestic electrical equipment for many years, and I have always been pleased with their service. More recently I have purchased several items of domestic "white goods" from them and have also been pleased with the servioce. They are a local firm, and I like to give my business to a local firm as they have a greater commitment to their customers. This has certainly been the case with Bews. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We had a bad experience with a dishwasher installed by a national retailer and this was returned for a refund. We have previously bought other kitchen appliances from Bews and so ordered a Miele dishwasher from them because we were more than happy with the appliances and the service received previously. The price of the dishwasher was the same as that of the national retailer and we did not have to pay any additional installation charges. The appliance was in stock and so there was no wait for delivery. Delivery was on the day agreed. Mr Bews checked the safety of our kitchen socket and switch prior to installation because of the issues experienced with the previous installation. The dishwasher was then installed efficiently and with no fuss. The kitchen was left clean and tidy afterwards. Bewes stock quality appliances and the service received this time was, once again, faultless.

Contacted Bews Electrical Ltd 11.10.2021. The situation was treated as urgent and Mr Bews came at 17.00 hours on the same day. Advised on 2 options as follows: 1) Miele available in 4 to 6 weeks 2) Available next May. At 6 week stage, an installation date was pencilled in as 3.12.2021 with an arrival time between 8,30-9.00am. A few days before it was confirmed that the Fridge/Freezer had been received. Mr Bews arrived on time and the machine has been successfully installed and the old machine and packaging were taken away.
