Bird Interiors carried out two projects for us ( and hopefully they'll be doing many more!) Project One was the total refurb of our basement area comprising two rooms and a hallway. Sadly we had been flooded and the area had been 18inch under water. the team replaced all plasterwork, laid all flooring, refitted radiators and re plastered and decorated a built in wardrobe. We're over the moon with the transformation. The team worked brilliantly together, sourced all materials on our behalf, expertly guided us re choices and gave great advice throughout. We felt very safe in their hands. They arrived when they said they would and kept us updated throughout. Super job by a great team. Their attention to detail is incredible, they went out of their way to 'match' things and spotted things I had never seen before! They also remedied them without being asked. Top job. Project Two was a refurb of our en suite bathroom. This meant taking up the existing floor tiles (a massive job) removing the existing underfloor heating mat and levelling the floor. Uncovering the floor revealed two quite serious leaks and a lot of water damage and dampness. This did set back their timescales through no fault of their own but they accommodated us 'with a smile'. They supplied their own dehumidifier (so good was it that we have now purchased our own) and sorted the two leaks, going above and beyond. They gave us great advice - it was neither a wet room or an enclosed shower and we had had issues for quite some time. Their recommendations were spot on and the new shower cubicle is much more 'fit for purpose'. Gone is the need for towels to 'mop the floor' after every shower and the new flooring is just perfect. They also added a radiator and replaced the underfloor mat - it now works and has transformed the room. We love it and can't believe we put up with things as they were for so long. Gone also are the woodlice, the daddy longlegs and all the insects that thrived in the damp environment of a bathroom in an old property. We are delighted with the work from Bird Interiors and now have a long list of 'future jobs'
