Neil and the team recently installed a new bathroom in my two-bedroom house. As this was my only bathroom and toilet, the whole process could have been stressful, but everyone involved made it easy. The plumbers (Asad and Mark), the tiler, and the electricians (Richard and Thomas) were all friendly, hardworking, and very accommodating throughout. I needed to leave them in the house unattended and provided a key; they locked up properly each day and I felt completely at ease leaving them in my home. The quality of the work is excellent and I’m really happy with the finished bathroom. There were a couple of minor issues, but they came back promptly to fix them. We also needed time to paint before the final bits were completed, and they returned a few days later without any problem. Communication was good throughout and I genuinely can’t fault them. They’re a local company and I think it’s important to support local businesses. Overall, I’m very happy with the experience. See photos.

Our new kitchen project was excellently managed throughout. Neil first visited the house to talk through ideas and take measurements. We then attended the showroom for a personal consultation, where Neil presented us with a design and we were able to choose the units, appliances and fittings. Work began within weeks. The electricians and plasterers appeared exactly on schedule, ensuring the build was completed within the estimated two weeks. All the tradesmen were highly skilled and extremely polite. A special mention to our fitter Andy, whose skills have produced a lovely kitchen we are delighted with.

This was a complete bathroom renovation. Also included was a further shower cubicle and towel radiator for a separate room A price was agreed and an installation time was set. 1. Electricians arrived and I had them install an extractor. Neil, the front face of the company wanted me to remove the initial extractor and not replace it. After some work on building regs, I asked for a new extractor to be fitted. I found this to be odd. 2. It took three days for a correct bath to arrive. 3. The downstairs towel heater looked like it had been thrown in from the street. I couldn't believe they actually left it looking like that and found it acceptable. Pictures available. It's truly shocking. 4. The sealing looked like it had been done by a toddler. Unacceptable. 5. The sink deglazed. Shocking. 6. The toilet outlet pipe covering was the most egregious piece of work I've ever seen a so called professional complete. It took four goes for it to be rectified. 7. The tile splashback was slapped on and all the errors tried to be covered with thick globs of silicone. 8. The bath plug doesn't work. 9. The paint is peeling. 10. The shower seal failed within a week. 11. The vanity unit is water damaged after six months. Although the initial mistakes were eventually rectified. Neil decided he still wanted full price for the shocking experience that he put us through. No. No. Now, the company are not taking responsibility for the poor product. Stay away from them

I had my old bathroom completely stripped and new walk-in shower, pedestal sink and toilet installed. The floor was taken up and completely replaced and new subfloor and LVT flooring. Walls were completely re-tiled. Ceiling stripped and ceiling cladding installed. Radiator removed and replaced with heated towel radiator. New LED mirror installed. Neil initially came to measure the bathroom and came up with a couple of designs and I then chose the various elements of the bathroom. The team that installed the bathroom were polite, courteous and efficient and took pride in their work and worked well together as a team. I am really pleased with the finished result. The team communicated well with me and also amongst themselves. They worked hard and were determined to make sure that I was happy with the end result. I am happy with the team and the way they worked in resolving minor issues that did arise. I couldn’t fault them.

It’s always a bit daunting replacing a bathroom. But I have to say BKBD made it easy from beginning to end. Neil came and measured up and we visited the showroom and he gave great advice and assistance. By the end he designed and promised us a great bathroom. The team of tradesmen turned up on time, and at the end of each day left the house spotless. They were all fantastic and worked tirelessly to deliver a bathroom that we wanted. The result was just what we’d hoped for and we were very impressed. I would not hesitate recommending Neil and his team for your new bathroom or kitchen.

We were looking for someone to replace our kitchen, but had reservations due to the many pitfalls faced when proceeding on such a major undertaking. A friend had recently had a kitchen installed by bkbd, so we popped around to have a look and were suitably impressed with the finished job. We then popped down to the showroom in Edward Street, where Neil was based. He showed us around, and my wife quickly found the style of the kitchen she was looking for. Neil made a follow up visit to discuss requirements further and to draw up plans. When these were received, we made a further visit to the showroom to price up the kitchen, fittings, and extras. Once inputted, Neil provided a detailed quotation - this was lower than we anticipated, so we readily agreed to proceed. A start date was arranged within a month, all contractors arrived on time, and the schedule ran like a dream, meaning all installation work was completed within 5 days, just leaving decorating to be finished off. We were delighted with the installation and also the friendly, efficient contractors. Also the realistic pricing for the job, no chopping and changing. Everyone who has seen the finished kitchen has been very impressed, and we have since recommended bkbd to several people, not something that we take lightly. One of these has already placed an order, and the work is almost complete, they are also delighted

Excellent service start to finish, from initial survey, showroom planning and design, to the quote which was within expectations. The attention to detail by the professional but friendly fitting staff and their communication throughout the project was superb. Work was done tidily, with minimal disruption considering this is our only bathroom and was fully completed to the highest of standards. We would highly recommend BKBD to our closest friends and family, that is how highly we would recommend them.

Really impressed with the care and service. Neil was able to make sensible suggestions and was mindful of our needs. The team were responsive to comments and immediately responded to little challenges that appear in any renovation. Importantly they listened and responded. Would highly recommend.

We are delighted with the upgrades to our two bathrooms which were completed within budget and schedule. Neil produced the plans and we were able to select the high quality materials from their showroom. Mark and Assad carried out the fitting to a high standard. A couple of snags were quickly rectified.
