Blue Flame Service Ltd is a local firm based in Maryport, Cumbria, originally set up by David Harrison in 2003. Over the past 15 years we have developed and grown into one of Cumbria ’s leading utility contractors providing first class plumbing, heating, electrical and renewable services.

Our fleet of 5 fully fitted vehicles support all the services we provide covering the whole of Cumbria, Millom to Carlisle, Whitehaven to Penrith.

We cover all aspects of Plumbing and Heating, Blue Flame Services are now able to offer boiler finance and Bathroom finance options throughout Cumbria.

Blue Flame can now offer easy payment solutions with 0% APR on all boiler, bathroom and electrical installations.

We can now protect your Home with a range of Boiler Care packages starting from £0.37 a day, all packages include an annual boiler service, unlimited call outs and up to £1,000 inc vat for repair works.

Just had a new boiler fitted today and relocated. I can't praise the lads enough, they were friendly and very very tidy. Thanks to Wayne who even took the time to source the same bricks to ensure the outside work was finished to fit with the rest of the property. Would recommend this company 100%

Excellent service from start to finish. Contacted Blue Flame regarding fitting a new boiler, arrived on time to give me a quote. Once I had agreed. A date and time for fitting was organised. Again arrived on time explained everything that was going to be done, superb fitting, everything very neat and tidy. Once finished and everywhere cleaned up old boiler removed, the house was spotless wouldn’t know anyone had been in . A full explanation of the control’s was given . Very very satisfied with the service, highly recommended.

Just had my central heating boiler serviced by Blue Flame. The engineer who came was pleasant and did the job quite quickly. He explained that I would get an invoice by email for my records. Paid over the phone and all done within half an hour or so. I will be using this company again for any future work with my central heating.

BlueFlame recently replaced our ancient gas fire and back boiler with a Worcester combi boiler. From quotation to completion the job was carried out on time and to a very high standard. The two installers were very skillful, efficient, tidy and happy to answer any questions as they proceeded. All redundant items were removed and we are delighted with the completed installation. This was the fifth and biggest job that BlueFlame have done for us and without hesitation I would definitely recommend them knowing they would do a first class job.

Excellent service, being a retired mechanical and pressure systems engineer I can appreciate the Level of Competence of the Blue Flame Team, the team of three worked together with a plan for the day they never stopped for a break, I was amazed what the achieved in three days, from stripping out completely the Old Boiler system water tanks etc. to fitting and commissioning the new systems, removing all the old equipment and packaging refitting the Carpets hoovering everywhere removing carpet protections where used, the engineers were very informative and didn't mind me watching them at there work. Well done to the Blue Flame Team, I will be definitely recommending them. Thank you

Blue Flame have recently replaced my gas boiler. The was was done on schedule and to budget. The heating engineer worked very tidily and removed any redundant items. I have been very impressed with the Greenstar 8000 combi boiler, they balanced the radiators when commissioning the system and the house heating is so much better for it. It is reassuring to have the ongoing support of an organisation like Blue Flame who will service and maintain the system in future and hence keep the twelve year warranty valid.

Very good service, I purchased a Magnaclean magnetic filter about 12 months ago. I didn't fit it myself as I have never used the Tectite plumbing system before, so I asked Blue Flame to do it. A neat job done in no time and for the sum of £15 plus VAT, it's simply not worth doing yourself. Boiler service and all checks carried out efficiently and safety report e-mailed to me on the same day. The total bill of £106 inc. VAT seems very reasonable. Very good communications throughout

My first time using Blue Flame, from initial inspection and quote for the installation of a new boiler, to fitting in my home, I was aware that they were customer-focused. There was no high-pressure sales talk. On the day of the installation the two engineers arrived early, I was informed before that they were on route to my home. On arrival straight to work, very tidy approach to their work, they were very approachable and friendly. On completion of the work, I was shown how to operate the controls. The standard of finish was good and neat, the outside flu finished off to a high standard. When they had finished, they cleared up, even hoovering one of the rooms upstairs where they had loft access. The roofer also attended to replace slates where the old flu had been, this had been arranged by Blue Flame again a high standard of workmanship. Overall very happy with my experience with Blue Flame.

Very efficient service
I tried for a long time to get my heating system back to full working order. One call to Blue Flame at 08:30 in the morning delivered an engineer by 10:30 - very impressed. Date was booked for full repair and was contacted to say they could come a week earlier. Dave and Bomber were on time, efficient and friendly - heating now works again. Many thanks

I recently had my boiler serviced as part of my yearly requirement for my 10-year guarantee. Paul the engineer was very helpful and arrived within the promised time. I mentioned that I sometimes caught a slight whiff of gas around the incoming pipe and meter area, he checked this for me and showed me a bubble forming on an incoming elbow. We contacted the emergency number and reported the fault, Paul was good enough to stay in his van waiting for the gas boards arrival. Unfortunately, he eventually had to leave for his next scheduled service but left me with his mobile number to contact him with the outcome on completion. I did so and was pleased to receive a service that is always above and beyond the average. Thank you Paul and Blue Flame for a great service.

The work was assessed by a professional who knew his job and by the next day we had a comprehensive quote, detailing exactly what we needed. Furthermore the final bill had no hidden extras. We had a new boiler installed and 2 new electric showers. We were told the job would take 2 days and it took 1 and a half. The plumbers and electricians were very friendly, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Everything from the quote to having the work done went very smoothly and we're very happy with the results. I would definatly recommend Blue Flame and use them again for any future jobs.
