We needed an old boiler replaced and moved to another area in the kitchen. Boiler was installed, ugly messy pipes on the external wall were replaced and moved, which look so much better. Tidy job inside and out, no mess left and completed in a day. Would definitely recommend

After trying to get a plumber out for 3 weeks with no success (we're in a rural area) I contacted my local Blue Flame office. The call was answered quickly and the job booked in there and then. It took the plumber about a minute to sort out our loo, that had water running into the cistern constantly. It was driving me up the wall - it sounded like an indoor water feature! Really impressed with how quickly this was sorted and he explained what had happened in the cistern to cause this. Fantastic service.

External combi oil boiler and, doing a weekly pressure check, found room full of condensation and water on the floor. Removed boiler lid to find a fine spray of hot water hitting the lid and running all over the control panel etc. Dumped some kitchen paper over the spray to contain it / turned the hot water etc to off / mopped up the control panel etc and 'phoned Blue Flame by, then, late afternoon. I expected, at best, an engineer next day to ID and order a spare part. What I got was David, within the hour, and carrying the necessary spare. It's not the most spacious home for the boiler despite being purpose built and not the easiest to work in. Nevertheless the repair and subsequent checking was completed circa 2 hours after the 'phone call which is rather impressive! Very grateful - thank you.

Recently had a gas fire serviced and a replacement boiler at my Mam’s which involved re- locating it for improved access and making good obsolete pipes/ controls etc. In both cases the guys were great, prompt, professional and friendly. When I phoned Blue Flame and explained the problem, I was given a date and time when the engineer would call. His arrival was as stated and the work carried out was faultless. The cost of the repair was more than reasonable and his check on the boiler settings afterwards was to be admired. Blue Flame have been servicing my central heating boiler and gas fire for quite a number of years now. Their engineers are always polite and friendly and act in a very professional manner. The service engineer arrived right on time and removed his shoes at front door to protect our carpets. He was polite and worked efficiently and thoroughly and cleaned up when he was finished. Very pleased, will use them again.

We are delighted with the service we received from Blue Flame. It took less than a week from the initial site visit to completion of the install. The Engineer (David) was very professional and thorough. All work was carried out as per the quote. On completion of the install, David noticed that the pressure had dropped in the new boiler, he went above and beyond in tracing the problem (which was a faulty radiator connection and nothing to do with the work carried out). To carry out the repair, David had to go under the house crawl space, which is not the nicest of environments, and to make matters worse the weather outside was torrential rain. The repair was carried out successfully and David stayed to check there were no other issues. All in all, a fantastic service from a very professional and friendly company. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

They recently fitted us with a new boiler, David came out to review the work needed, he clearly explained the process & options available, no hard sell just informative & answered all of our questions. Even though this is the busiest time of year Patrick managed to fit us in around their very busy work schedule. David & Reece fitted our new boiler, they were a pleasure to have in our home, both very friendly & respectful of our property & left our home tidy. We are very pleased with our new boiler & we were also pleased that they flushed through all of our radiators. The paperwork was completed by them & our water quality tested & the details emailed to us. David explained how the boiler works & how to operate the system. The whole process was smooth, easy & stress free.

Able to book easily. Engineer arrived as advised, received a message to say they were on their way, so good communication. Engineer polite and carried out the boiler service efficiently. They were polite and a respectful of property, eg removed boots. Pleased with the service including receipt of invoice etc.

Prompt service and good advice on what to do to make the new system better than the old. Did a great job quickly and carefully, and left the place clean and tidy.

4 men worked tirelessly to prepare and fit a slab base having already removed a wooden surround and emptied my oil tank into a container. They then sawed up the old tank. Carried the heavy new tank and installed it on the slab. When in place they pumped the good oil back into the new tank. All this was done in pouring rain yet they remained cheerful throughout. They removed all waste items and left it clean and tidy. Job finished within the day so we could have the boiler running same day. Finished off the next day. In all they were a great bunch remained cheerful throughout even though one of them said he was wet through to his boxers.

Old boiler went bang whilst on holiday, contacted Blue Flame and they came out straight away to provide quote, once agreed they were there on Monday to install new boiler. Didn't get the names of the two guys installing but they did and excellent quality job and left no mess. Very competitive price and would highly recommend Blue Flame.

After a month of chasing the installer of our oil boiler for a service, we lost patience and rang Blue Flame. We rang at 11.45 am on the Friday, and the job was complete by 11.30 am the following Monday. The office contact is extremely efficient, and the engineer who attended was friendly and helpful. The price for the job (quoted in advance) was competitive. All in all, highly recommended.

I called Blue Flame as we had a leak in our central heating system. I feared we may have to have floors ripped up to find it. The man who called to estimate was friendly polite and reassuring. He explained a way to resolve the problem, sent me an estimate the same day and the job was booked in a week after I accepted the estimate. The guys who came to do the work were extremely polite, efficient and tidy, they had the job done in no time and although we now have some pipes running down walls they are hardly noticeable. The problem was fixed, a new radiator fitted in our lounge, system tested and they were away. Our central heating is working perfectly now. This may not be the cheapest firm to use but their work ethic is second to none. I would not hesitate to use them again. All the people I came into contact with were friendly and helpful, there was absolutely no mess when the work was done and they fixed the issues as they said they would - no dramas. Combi Boiler installation to replace old boiler, new controls & radiator valves, removal of water tanks, installation of a new radiator & gas fire service. The company were fantastic from first enquiry to completion of the work, especially the installers. There was no hard sell and I got an explanation of the options available to me and their recommendation. I received a detailed quote and we agreed an installation date which fitted with my schedule. I was kept informed of a slight delay to the start time on the first day and the work was completed within the original quoted timescale of 2.5 days. The staff doing the installation were amazing. They were hard working, friendly, efficient and professional completing the work to a very high standard and leaving the property better than it was originally. I will be taking out a service package and have already recommended this company twice.

I am on a service contract so the scheduling was automatically booked for a time that suited me. The engineer was professional and tidy, while there he freed a stuck valve on a radiator in a spare room at no extra cost.

Blue Flame installed a new condensing combination boiler on the 30/Nov/2022. Yes, the work was completed to the agreed schedule and budget. The two installers, Lee and Kai were outstanding. They were clean, helpful and worked very hard. They tidied up to a very high standard. Overall I am delighted with the work that was done.

Excellent service from start to finish. Contacted Blue Flame regarding fitting a new boiler, arrived on time to give me a quote. Once I had agreed. A date and time for fitting was organised. Again arrived on time explained everything that was going to be done, superb fitting, everything very neat and tidy. Once finished and everywhere cleaned up old boiler removed, the house was spotless wouldn’t know anyone had been in . A full explanation of the control’s was given . Just had my central heating boiler serviced by Blue Flame. The engineer who came was pleasant and did the job quite quickly. He explained that I would get an invoice by email for my records. Paid over the phone and all done within half an hour or so. I will be using this company again for any future work with my central heating.

BlueFlame recently replaced our ancient gas fire and back boiler with a Worcester combi boiler. From quotation to completion the job was carried out on time and to a very high standard. The two installers were very skillful, efficient, tidy and happy to answer any questions as they proceeded. All redundant items were removed and we are delighted with the completed installation. Excellent service, being a retired mechanical and pressure systems engineer I can appreciate the Level of Competence of the Blue Flame Team, the team of three worked together with a plan for the day they never stopped for a break, I was amazed what the achieved in three days, from stripping out completely the Old Boiler system water tanks etc. to fitting and commissioning the new systems, removing all the old equipment and packaging refitting the Carpets hoovering everywhere removing carpet protections where used, the engineers were very informative and didn't mind me watching them at there work. Blue Flame have recently replaced my gas boiler. The was was done on schedule and to budget. The heating engineer worked very tidily and removed any redundant items. I have been very impressed with the Greenstar 8000 combi boiler, they balanced the radiators when commissioning the system and the house heating is so much better for it. It is reassuring to have the ongoing support of an organisation like Blue Flame who will service and maintain the system in future and hence keep the twelve year warranty valid.

Very good service, I purchased a Magnaclean magnetic filter about 12 months ago. I didn't fit it myself as I have never used the Tectite plumbing system before, so I asked Blue Flame to do it. A neat job done in no time and for the sum of £15 plus VAT, it's simply not worth doing yourself. Boiler service and all checks carried out efficiently and safety report e-mailed to me on the same day. The total bill of £106 inc. VAT seems very reasonable. Very good communications throughout

Responded very quickly to an old failed boiler over the Christmas period when no one else bothered. We’re able to quote quickly and then schedule a speedy installation. The site was left very tidy. Communication was first rate and paperwork was dealt with immediately.

My first time using Blue Flame, from initial inspection and quote for the installation of a new boiler, to fitting in my home, I was aware that they were customer-focused. There was no high-pressure sales talk. On the day of the installation the two engineers arrived early, I was informed before that they were on route to my home. On arrival straight to work, very tidy approach to their work, they were very approachable and friendly. On completion of the work, I was shown how to operate the controls. The standard of finish was good and neat, the outside flu finished off to a high standard. When they had finished, they cleared up, even hoovering one of the rooms upstairs where they had loft access. The roofer also attended to replace slates where the old flu had been, this had been arranged by Blue Flame again a high standard of workmanship. Overall very happy with my experience with Blue Flame.

I recently had my boiler serviced as part of my yearly requirement for my 10-year guarantee. Paul the engineer was very helpful and arrived within the promised time. I mentioned that I sometimes caught a slight whiff of gas around the incoming pipe and meter area, he checked this for me and showed me a bubble forming on an incoming elbow. We contacted the emergency number and reported the fault, Paul was good enough to stay in his van waiting for the gas boards arrival. Unfortunately, he eventually had to leave for his next scheduled service but left me with his mobile number to contact him with the outcome on completion. I did so and was pleased to receive a service that is always above and beyond the average. Thank you Paul and Blue Flame for a great service.

We had a new boiler installed and 2 new electric showers. We were told the job would take 2 days and it took 1 and a half. The plumbers and electricians were very friendly, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. We had this fantastic team in to replace an old oil central heating system with a gas combi boiler in July 2021. The team arrived on time and did a fantastic job, leaving the house as they found it and were really good about being careful not to let the house cat out. As a bonus, the shower is now worth any 5-star hotel as it's hot and powerful... We will get them back in for the next phase of work Blue Flame are well priced and the service is second to none.

We had a new combi boiler fitted on the 16th July 2021 by two engineers who were extremely competent and efficient. We had been struggling with what appeared to be extensive rising damp for months on 2 internal walls having employed builders and several surveys. While servicing our boiler your engineer looked at the issue and ascertained the problem in less than half an hour. He arranged to return and delve further into the problem. Did so promptly, made sound judgements as to how to limit damage given that floors needed digging up. He called for more a specialised engineer who was with us in a couple of hours. He was enthusiastic , very competent, fixed the problem efficiently and left us with a clean site. In every circumstance they were polite, positive and helpful. Team Blue Flame worked very well together. We have used them before always having had the same experience.

Blue Flame replaced our old oil combi boiler with a new one 24-25 May. We were only without water for 1 hour. The service was excellent, it was all to schedule and was completed by lunchtime on the second day. I find the service at the Maryport base very friendly and helpful in addition to everything left clean and neat. The lovely surprise was a beautiful arrangement of flowers. Blue Flame Maryport comes highly recommended by my husband & me for all plumbing and electrical work.

Blue Flame fitted a brand new central heating system and combi boiler and also removed the old water tank and electric storage heaters. From start to finish they were efficient and friendly. The young lads who completed the work kept everything clean and tidy and completed the job in the time scale quoted. When the work was completed I received a lovely bouquet of flowers which made my day.

We exchanged an external oil boiler for a new internal gas boiler. The team, Paul, Reece and electrician Barry worked really hard to create an installation that functions very effectively but also fits unobtrusively into our house. They were all very proactive in overcoming the inevitable unforeseen problems and, impressively, managed to keep smiling even at the end of a long day. We've needed this work done for some time - it was just a case of finding a trustworthy company to carry it out. Living out in the country, it can be difficult to get trades teams to attend the property. We've used Blue Flame for a number of things, including annual boiler service and any boiler problems. I like them because it is a large local company, which means that someone attends when they say they will and the response is always quick, because there are enough engineers to cover demand. Very good and efficient came to service my gas boiler found a small leak on a valve gave me a good estimate for the repair came today did a good fast job, very good and pleasant engineer. Good firm.

The process from survey to sign off of the installation was personally overseen by the Director, David, who additionally willingly listened to my questions, provided reassurance and accommodated my requests. The young plumber who serviced our electric boiler and heating system hadn't worked on many electric systems, but he serviced ours without any problems and explained how it all worked and what exactly had needed doing. He was a very efficent tidy worker, he also observed the coronavirus safety precautions without being asked and even washed the cup I gave him tea in, in the bathroom sink before handing it back to me! What made this guy stand out was his knowledge, friendliness and skill at his job. I am only sorry I did not get his name as I want him back the next time I need work doing.

I honestly can’t recommend Blue Flame highly enough - over the past eight years they have fitted a gas boiler for us and carried out our annual service on our gas boiler and gas fire. Their workers are pleasant and knowledgeable and clean up after themselves when the work is finished, also wearing plastic overshoes and this year a mask. I am paranoid about gas safety and they are the only firm I would trust to do any gas work for us. When repairs have been needed they have been carried out promptly and a full explanation given for the need for the work to be done and what parts are needed. Well done Blue Flame.

Due to a fluctuating pressure of the new boiler and having 9 radiators throughout the house and extension it was required to fit an expansion tank in the garage by Paul one of the Blue Flame Engineers, such a nice polite and cheerful young lad, an absolute joy to speak to and so professional at his job. Anyhow this has certainly fixed the problem and its all working a treat so thank you very much, and appreciate everything Blue Flame have provided, a great service.

We decided to change from oil to gas central heating and contacted Blue Flame. They came out immediately and told us who to contact to get gas connected to our house and what steps had to be taken. Everything and everyone we came across were so helpful and effecient. I was able to move the installation forward a few weeks which Blue Flame accommodated happily. Blue Flame were the last workmen here. The workmen knew what they were doing, worked well as a team and just got on with the job. They covered their boots when they came into the house and left the garage clean. The men were friendly, effecient and professional and seemed to work non-stop. The workmen explained how to work everything to us with great patience but we were grateful to the follow up visit from the boss the next day. A huge thank you.

Attended a leak we had following a washing-machine installation. Very prompt to help us out and carried out the work quickly and efficiently. Whilst the work quote for my boiler installation ( inc moving the boiler and removing a bath) was not cheapest that I had received, the quality of the initial inspection was deciding factor, as an issue had been identified and therefore the filters would be arriving prepared for the work to be undertaken. The gentleman that undertook the initial inspection arrived with the fitters to walk through what was required before work commenced. The two fitters were punctual and cleared and removed all debris. The quality of their work was excellent , I have no hesitation in recommending Blue Flame.

Blue Flame fitted our new central heating boiler, new radiators and new gas fire September 2017. Since that time they have carried out the three annual services of the fire and the boiler. This year I have also signed up for their Boiler Care package. I think the fact that I keep going back to them probably speaks for itself. Great service The estimator arrived at the time stated and explained the best way to achieve the installation of a new radiator and where it should be positioned for maximum effect. He told us what works the engineer would carry out to the building fabric and the estimated time it would take. Explaining what furniture we should move etc prior to the engineers' arrival to save time and facilitate the work. We received a quote the same day which covered the materials to be used and costs of works which was not as expensive as I had anticipated. The engineer arrived on time and put down sheets to protect the carpets before starting work. He worked quickly and efficiently and did the job to the highest standards. On completion of the work, he cleaned all the areas he had been working in. I was impressed by the standard of work and the care taken by the engineer. Installation of a new combi boiler to replace an old back boiler completed in 2 days. Lads worked hard, completed installation as per quote, which was considerably cheaper then the one received from British Gas and with Blue Flame you get a longer warranty. Additionally, due to delays caused by a certain virus, original quote obtained about 4 months ago for the work was honoured.

I have used the services for 3 years they fitted a new boiler and have continued to service both the boiler and gas fire annually. Today's service was no exception to the rule of efficient service. Booking the appointment was straightforward and I was able to pay by card over the phone cutting down on contact. The engineer was friendly and extremely well prepared with appropriate PPE and cleaned all the surfaces with anti bacterial spray to cut down on any contamination. Will use them in the future.

Contacted Blue Flame for a quote to replace our boiler, an engineer came out the same day, fully talking me through the work needed, answering all my questions and concerns. Quote emailed to me very quickly. Date set for work to commence, with confirmation emails sent prior. Engineers arrived as arranged on time. I have used blue flame on other occasions for electrical projects .I was so impressed with whole experience, that last year i took out a gas boiler and service plan with them. We have used Blue Flame several times for repair and service of our older oil boiler. They are always on time ie. the engineer arrived at 8am on the dot. He was efficient and importantly for me, knowledgeable about older more obscure systems. As well as a service, a small component was found to be faulty causing an occasional lock out. All priced up, fitted from the stock on the van quickly and easily. I very rarely write reviews but made an exception because of their excellent service which is reasonably priced.

My heating system developed a leak, which proved challenging to locate and repair. The guys just got stuck in, and got the job done, despite the adverse working conditions. As always, they are professional, cheerful and keen to please the customer. I called them in as they had previously done a boiler change for me, and I had gained a very positive view of the company and teams as a result of that work.

We have used BlueFlame several times now and they have always been very satisfactory.. This time theywere putting right the faults they found during a survey 'condition report' in our new home . Several earthing faults were put right incluing one which took quite a bit of detecting. The lads were helpful and explained what they were doing and why. A small glitch was put right promptly the next day.. They always leave the job tidy. i have no hesitation in recommending BlueFlame for any electrical work and plumbing work.. They are not the cheapest but they are the best and can be relied on to complete work on time and to budget / estimate.

I needed a complete new flue on my combi boiler, a new thermostat and a TRV. The engineer arrived promptly to inspect the work that needed doing and took notes which he checked with me to make sure I was happy with them. The detailed quote arrived a couple of days later and was for a very reasonable price. I was not able to be at the property on the agreed date but they were happy to take a key and let themselves in. They did the work in one day and left my property in good condition. I received the Safety/Service Certificate the next day. Their customer service is great and they were happy to answer any and all questions. I would have no hesitation in using this company again and highly recommend them.

Having discussed the work required, all new copper plumbing to all new radiators and fresh supplies to both bathrooms and fitting the bathrooms, David Harrison could not have been more helpful. We must have had a dozen of the team at different times and they were all excellent, nothing too much trouble and Daz wouldn't leave without cleaning up at the end of each day. These guys fitted us a WIFI thermostat to manage heating. They noticed and repaired damaged main electric cable to oil boiler. Fitted outdoor security light and replaced worn out ceiling extractor. Prompt service, worked quietly and efficiently . Everything left clean & tidy , rubbish taken away. So pleased this company was recommended to us by family. We feel totally comfortable for the future , and when our old oil fired boiler gives up we have these lads to rely on to come to our rescue. We are both over 70 and we are delighted with the service provided.

Noticed the dreaded damp ceiling in an area above the crawl way. Contacted Blue Flame last 9.00 am and was given an appointment time of between 2:00 and 4:00pm. The plumber was finished within the hour, had fixed the pipe, hoovered up the standing water laying on the ceiling plasterboards, and has wrung out the sodden insulation material for faster drying. All done within the minimum one hour call-out charge! Top marks lads!

Survey: Very professional, Jon explained every step of the process and added advice to enable us to make a decision for the most economical and efficient system. His communication was a mixture of technical and simple explanation offering a complete understanding to guide us. Installation: This took the best part of three days, the engineers were Lee and Callum who turned up promptly each day and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. I was impressed when a roll of tacky backed plastic was used to safely protect the stair and landing carpet. These two engineers were polite and informative though out the job, nothing was too much trouble and at no stage did I hear bad language being used. In the very final stages of the job access to upstairs was required, the carpet protector had been removed at this stage, each time Callum entered the house he removed his boots in the hall. I would have been proud to have employed these two lads myself. A great job from start to finish and I would have no hesitation in recommending Blue Flame to any potential customer. Competitively priced and well executed from start to finish.

We received quotes from 5 reputable firms but opted for Blue flame because of the detailed survey and the consultation about the options that would suit us best. They weren't the cheapest but not the most expensive either. The fitting was done quickly and the workmanship was very good. I needed a replacement bath mixer tap - Blue Flame carried out this work on time, taking great care to remove and replace the side panel on my bath with the minimum of damage.
