My name is Anthony and I have been running Bourne Plumbing & Heating a family run business, for over 27 years. I offer a wide range of services, from full bathroom installations to emergency call-outs. I am also on hand to help out with smaller jobs, such as fixing leaky taps or unblocking drains.

Brilliant! Anthony was recommended by our electrician and he spent a couple of hours diagnosing the problem which goes back to the late 1990s when, it seems, British Gas installed a new boiler. Briefly, it seems they did not change the pipe work to a standard size and air was getting in to the system. We also had a leak. He managed to restore hot water and heating for us overnight and promised that if he could get the materials needed, he would come back today, which he did. He replaced the wrong-sized pipe and has just got us going again. Full marks!

Our gas was cut off this month due to an unidentified leak under the floor. Anthony came round within 24 hours to quote and came up with a practical solution that created the minimum of disruption. He rearranged his schedule to fit in our work which was carried out a week later as agreed. He took care in tidying up afterwards. We would highly recommend him.

Following a gas leak from our cooker hob, and disconnection of the damaged gas pipe, Anthony came to assess the job and (following some some adjustments to the cooker cabinetry which had to be carried out by a carpenter that he recommended) came back to reconnect the gas supply which he did efficiently and without mess or upheaval. I would be very happy to call him again in the future if we have any plumbing or heating issues. I have yet to receive his bill so am not really able to comment reliably on his value for money.

Anthony recently installed a new water softener and a Viessmann boiler for us. We were impressed by the meticulous high quality of the work. And also by the fact that Anthony always came when he said he would, and was friendly, polite and helpful in answering all our questions. He has a hugely impressive knowledge of his subject, the result of many years' experience, and we feel that we finally have properly installed, reliable equipment, with excellent backup if needed.
