I phoned Anthony having been recommended to him by our regular plumber of many years who has now retired. It was a small but irritating problem with our toilet cistern. The ball valve whined loudly when filling and was slowly leaking all the time. Anthony arranged to come later the same day. He arrived and carried out the job in about half an hour: replacing the ball valve with a much neater looking new one; he also renewed the isolating valve and pipework leading into the cistern which he discovered was faulty. Anthony was very professional and courteous but also friendly and personable. His work was of a very high standard, clean and tidy (he took away all the old debris) and his charges were reasonable in the circumstances. I would recommend Anthony to my friends.

Emergency work on failed boiler, and installing new Viessmann boiler. Anthony Sawczuk was always efficient and polite and appeared to take an enormous amount of care and pride in his workmanship. In answer to the questions below I have no real ability to judge quality or value.

I found Tony from Bourne Plumbing on Trusted Traders and have been extremely satisfied with the level of service we have received from him. Tony has carried out a lot of work for us, including replacing boiler parts, re-piping our entire downstairs, radiator installation and general support and advice throughout our building work. Tony is easy to get hold of (in case of emergencies) and is extremely trustworthy - we are so pleased we've found a trusted local plumber who quotes transparently and goes over and above to provide help and support.

The job was to replace an old electric shower unit that had ceased working. Anthony arrived promptly, listened to my requirements, evaluated the job and sent through an estimate, which I accepted. When the item had been delivered he fitted it neatly to match the marks left by its predecessor. When fitting it he discovered a problem with my stopcock, which he worked around, and also problems with the existing pipework, which he remedied. He explained everything very clearly and efficiently, and he listened to my concerns and requirements, which has not always been my experience with other traders. He also spotted a potential problem with the electrics, which was outside his purview, and gave me the details of two possible electricians.

Came straight away in the middle of December on hearing about my lack of heating. Diagnosed the problem and set about sorting it out. The communication system to my boiler needed changing and this was done efficiently and quickly. Electric heaters were left with me to make sure that I was not cold. These were left with me after he had finished in case the boiler played up again. It did not thankfully.

Anthony has done several jobs for me over the past 2 years, eg correcting another plumber's shoddy workmanship and fixing a leaking radiator. Last year he re-sited and installed a new Viessmann boiler, together with new pipework and soakaway, which I was very pleased with. The quote was accurately itemised and the work carried out to a very high standard. This was later followed by a power flush of the central heating system, all performed with great proficiency. He always arrives on time and leaves everything clean and tidy. Most recently I called him for a boiler service, which was carried out thoroughly and efficiently. Anthony is an extremely competent plumbing and heating engineer. A true professional. I would highly recommend him. And he also just happens to be a thoroughly nice guy.

I had a very problematic toilet leak and Tony was able to sort it with ease and very quickly. We had an issue with space which we didn't think we could sort but Tony was able to give us the best solution. Very reliable and value for money. Highly recommended and loves a cup of tea.

They were recommended by our former plumber, who has retired. Had to replace the valve in the attic water tank. Came out on the same day as I called, which was fantastic. Anthony turned up on time, and called to say he was on his way from the previous job. He did the job quickly, showed me the part he had replaced, and was in and out in under an hour. I would definitely recommend the Company, and will definitely use them again for any plumbing jobs we need doing.

Anthony had previously overhauled an existing sink tap during which he commented that the tap wasn’t very good quality. When the seal to the sink failed we phoned to ask for advice about getting a new one fitted. I told him what we wanted in a new tap and could he advise us. He made an appointment to come to look at it before which I emailed him to ask if he’d bring any suitable brochures. He arrived early and waited until we arrived back from a hospital appointment. He didn’t bring brochures but thoughtfully put 2 taps in his van which he thought would fit the bill. One was perfect and he said he would do it immediately if we wanted which he did and all was completed in just under an hour. The price was much as we expected and he sent an email with the cost the next day. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice the attached invoice with the bank payment details and I phoned his landline 3 times to leave a message to ask for them before ringing his mobile and speaking to him. He said his voicemail was useless and always use the Mobile and he told me where to find the bank details. But for that, the Customer service would have been 5 stars.

Replaced old boiler and upgraded the pipework making access easier. Kept me informed throughout, and left house clean and tidy Would recommend

Tony advised on the purchase of the basin and taps and installed them on the day agreed. The job was completed to our satisfaction and we are very pleased. We were consulted where alternatives were available and able to express our preference before the action was undertaken. We will use Tony again with confidence.

Anthony carried out a boiler service as well as repairing some pipework and a broken radiator. His communication was very good, he was punctual and reliable - recommended.

My Viessmann boiler (Vitodens 100-W Compact) had stopped working. After four central heating engineers failed to properly diagnose and resolve the problem, I contacted the Viessmann Company. Their engineer diagnosed a blocked heat exchanger and recommended a power flush. The Viessmann engineer put me in touch with Anthony Sawczuk from Bourne Plumbing. Anthony's magnetic power flush was highly effective - the boiler started working perfectly immediately after the flush, and a new heat exchanger was not needed. I could not be more grateful to Anthony and more in awe of his expertise.

I had a complete overhaul of my heating and plumbing system, including the removal of old radiators, boiler, hot water tank, & gas pipes, as well as the installation of a new boiler, water cylinder, new radiators, & Nest controllers. Tony supplied and installed a new 170L indirect Megaflo unit as a replacement for an existing one and made essential alterations to the domestic hot and cold water system. He also serviced our Veissman boiler. This is not an easy job to do as the mentioned meglaflo unit was large and very heavy, especially when it was carried upstairs! However Tony carried out all aspects of work without any complaints and worked late into the day to ensure that the works were finished to a high specification. I have nothing but praise for Tony and the skills and professionalism he brings when carrying out and completing a job. I have used Tony for many, many years and will continue to do so and recommend him for all heating and plumbing issues.

This time Anthony fixed a problem and on being asked to do another job made an appointment a couple of days later. He returned and all was done satisfactorily.He has been our plumber of choice for maybe 15 years. He installed our current boiler in 2011 and services it regularly.
