1) Bourne Plumbing attended to identify cause of a leak that was causing mains fuses to trip and to remedy it.. Rapidly diagnosed the problem and provided a reliable temporary solution 2) Bourne Plumbing returned subsequently by appointment to replace a leaking motorised valve and various expired accessories of a MegaFlow hot water cylinder. Serviced our existing 10-year-old Worcester-Bosch boiler, but found that it could not be brought within acceptable emission limits without substantial, expensive and ultimately speculative work. Advised boiler replacement with a Viessmann Vitodens 100-W compact 35KW wall-hung boiler and the likely cost, including upgraded de-aeration, filtering and flue systems. Agreed in principle to go ahead, so we were provided promptly with a detailed written quotation, which we accepted. As the existing boiler could not be used safely we relied an an Immersion heater and Bourne Plumbing kindly lent us 5 virtually new fan heaters for the interim. 3) Bourne Plumbing supplied, fitted and commissioned the new boiler and undertook associated works by appointment in our unavoidable absence during a Saturday. We returned to find the house warm again and a very quiet, neat new boiler installed. We subsequently received a ring-binder of information about the new system, various warranties and two invoices, which were in accordance with what we were expecting to pay. 4) We have accepted Bourne Plumbing's suggestion that it should return about a month after the installation of the boiler in order to monitor performance and in particular the cleanliness of the newly-installed Magna-Clean filtration unit. We have great confidence in Bourne Plumbing, which takes the trouble to explain the present situation, the alternative courses of action available to deal with it, the associated likely costs and risks, and which course of action it would recommend.

A routine gas safety inspection turned up a slow gas leak and the gas supply was capped, leaving me without heating and hot water. I rang Anthony Sawczuk at Bourne and explained the situation. He was able to come the next morning, installed a new gas pipe between meter and boiler, and provided a new gas safety certificate. What more can you ask? Well done!

New Viessmann boiler installation. I have known Anthony for some years and he has always given good advice, and provided an excellent and fast service. He replaced my old boiler and fitted a new one in a very tight space. Worked hard and tidily, accomplishing the job in one day. Cleaned up afterwards, and the price was very agreeable. Delighted with the new boiler and after-service. My personal impression of Anthony is that he is honest, hard-working and very personable. Highly recommended!

A toilet cistern had sprung a leak from its water input. We had turned off its supply and drained it, so we were not an emergency, but Anthony came the same day, and did an excellent job. Previous work by a plumber we will not name had left the cistern with a very slow leak (from a different place) despite much tightening, necessitating keeping a drip tray in place. Anthony removed the cistern, replaced all the innards, which were found to have been incorrectly sealed and were spoilt, and fitted a new supply feeder pipe and tap; he clearly keeps a stock of routine parts in his van. We now have a cistern which is drip-free and works better than before. He was totally professional, showed us clearly why the replacement parts were needed, left no mess, and inspired confidence. His bill came to just under what we had expected. I hope we don't need a plumber again soon, but when we do he will be the first we approach.

We had an old boiler replaced with a new Viessmann boiler. Work was carried out promptly and Anthony went out of his way to order and fit the new boiler in double quick time so we were only without heating for a couple of days. I am happy to recommend this company as Anthony is straightforward and trustworthy, and the work is carried out efficiently. The kitchen was left clean & tidy. Five stars.

Our boiler was flooded inside and Mr. Sawczuk quickly attended to it, installing a new boiler and filters. Later a power flush was done to the central heating system. The quotation paperwork was detailed and full. He left a folder for us with all the information about our new equipment and its aftercare, and went through the controls with us. He is also a very tidy worker. Highly recommended.

We used Anthony after our neighbour recommended him. He was great. We had a leak coming through our kitchen ceiling and couldn’t figure out the source. Anthony visited twice, and after we figured out it was our bathroom tap leaking, he found the problem and fixed it straightaway which included going out to choose a suitable replacement tap. Tidied up after too. Tap is great and leak has stopped. He was very conscious of covid precautions too, was happy to wear shoe covers in the house and charged a fair price too. Would definitely use for all our future plumber needs.

The work was carried out to schedule over two separate weeks while we were away. On both occasions when returning from holiday the areas where work was carried out were immaculate. When unanticipated scaffolding was required, we were contacted and of course, agreed the additional cost. An extensive clearly explained estimate was given at the beginning and the work was carried out to the highest standards. In follow-up, care was taken to ensure that the operation of the new Viessman system was fully understood. Aftercare was discussed and agreed. We were very pleased with the work and would have no hesitation in recommending Bourne - in fact, have already passed on details to friends.

My toilet was leaking and needed to be completely removed from the wall to fix. Anthony did an excellent job of removing it, fixing the leak and fitting it back into position securely. This was a big job that took several hours. I'm very happy with his work and he left everything clean when he left. I'm happy to recommend Bourne Plumbing and Heating to everyone. I have used them before and they are always reliable, do excellent work and charge fairly. I have used Anthony on many occasions in the past (he re-fitted my bathroom last year) and, when my old central heating system ceased to function in February, I contacted him again for his assistance. His service is always prompt, reliable and highly efficient. He explained to me what he was going to do before commencing the work and provided an acceptable estimate. Eminently trustworthy, he completed the work whilst I was away from my flat and met me when I had returned to explain the Viessmann central heating system to me in detail. After a poor installation of our previous boiler 11 years ago and a sub-standard annual service contract, both from British Gas, we used Bourne Plumbing & Heating for the first time to replace our gas boiler & upgrade our system to meet current standards. On Anthony’s recommendation we chose a Viessmann Vitodens 100-W compact condensing boiler. A power flush to the system was required. We were surprised at the amount of debris & sludge that had accumulated in our system. Anthony’s work exceeded all our expectations. He is extremely professional and takes the time to explain clearly all stages of the job. He is punctual, courteous, clean & tidy. The price was excellent value. We have no hesitation in recommending him (indeed, we have already done so twice, since he completed our job). We will definitely use him again.

Over the last three weeks, Anthony Sawczuk has repaired a leaking water pipe, replaced and upgraded the valves and controls for our hot water and central heating system, cleaned out the expansion tank, replaced a radiator and carried out a power flush of our central heating system. In all this work, we have found that Anthony is careful, considerate, thorough and efficient. He spends as long as is needed to complete the job so that we have never felt we were being rushed. He uses dust sheets to protect floor coverings and cleans up everything afterwards. In addition, Anthony has been very punctual, always arriving at the agreed time. He took great care to explain what needed doing and how he was going to carry out the work and replied promptly to all our e-mails. He provided written estimates and kept within budget for each aspect of the work that he carried out. We shall be very happy to use Anthony's services again in the future.

Tony replaced our old gas boiler and installed a new Veissmann Boiler and pumps, we are delighted with the performance. He also replaced the old pipe work to our hot water tank, replaced all the radiator valves and refurbished our expansion tank fittings. He completed a total power flush of our system. Tony was extremely professional, explained the process and the features of all the fittings, he did not stop working until he was 100% satisfied with the installation, he left minimum disruption over night. He always arrived at the agreed times. He was extremely clean using mats and sheets to minimise dirt and rubble in our house. He provided a fast and efficient service. The central heating system and the hot water system have now been operating for 10 days, very hot and silent, we are very pleased. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Tony and Bourne Plumbing, and will certainly use him for all my future maintenance work.
