I am a woman who is over seventy years old with a husband who has Alzheimer's. After a lifetime of leaving all the technical details of maintaining a house to him I now find myself having to take control. I find plenty of assistance on the internet but I do know when to leave a job to a professional. Plumbing work fits this category. Recently water would not stop running down the back of the toilet. I needed a plumber. None of my friends could recommend a plumber. I was terrified of coming up against a 'rougue trader'. Then I found the Which? Local website and chose Bourne Plumbing and Heating because they were near where I live and the reviews sounded good. Anthony came at once, was very courteous and professional and dealt efficiently with my problem, even coming out on a Sunday for his second visit after he had obtained a necessary part.. He was kind enough to offer advice on several other plumbing related issues. For any scared ladies out there needing plumbing work done I can certainly recommend Bourne Plumbing and Heating.

After successfully plumbing in a new washing machine for me back in 2013, I decided to call Bourne Plumbing again with very low mains water pressure caused by a stuck valve. The email response from Anthony was quick and the problem was rapidly resolved. Highly recommended.

Tony has been our plumber and heating engineer for many many years, and has done work for members of my family and neighbours. He is completely trustworthy, reliable and happy to advise us at all times. Tony responds swifty to our calls and will do emergency work immediately; he assesses and completes the work required very efficiently, and tidies up after himself. He recently fitted a new Viesmann boiler which we are very happy with. Tony services our boiler yearly, and I could not recommend him highly enough! On one occasion We had an emergency whilst away on holiday and rang Tony for advice as our son was at home alone- Tony himself was on holiday which did not stop him from advising us on the phone and then contacting a friend of his who sorted out the emergency for us!

Anthony was very thorough in checking the cause of the problem replacing and checking the parts systematically. He was able to identify and resolve the problem in a few hours. He explained everything he did and also left the house clean and tidy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

I contacted Bourne Heating and Plumbing on a friend's recommendation to help get to the bottom of issues with my heating system that have been unresolved by others. Tony attended my property and assessed the situation thoroughly, noticing various issues that should have been spotted by others. He recommended replacing a pump, fitting a new pump in a new location and also raising the height of our cold water tank to improve pressure. The work was carried out promptly on time and on budget and Tony and his colleague left my home clean and tidy after every day. Tony might not be the cheapest plumber you will find but he does care about his work and have a high technical ability. He won't take shortcuts. I wish I'd found him sooner as his professionalism pays off in the long run!! Highly recommended!

Anthony serviced our Viessmann boiler. He was able to attend on the same day that we contacted him and was pleasant and efficient in his work (which was also reasonably priced). We would definitely use him again for plumbing or gas work!
