I am happy to add my recommendation to those already posted here. I had a problem with my central heating - cold radiators despite the boiler and pump appearing to work properly. This issue baffled Putney Plumbers and Swale Heating both of which made multiple visits with at least 7 different plumbers all of whom failed to fix the problem despite two changes of pump and a power flush. I contacted Anthony of Bourne Heating whose name I got from Which Trusted Traders. He recommended reconfiguration of the pipework around the pump and hot water cylinder and immediately discovered a complete blockage in one of the pipes. The pump had been trying to force water through a blocked pipe - thats why they were wearing out and having to be replaced. Once Anthony had fitted new pipework and a new pump the central heating was as good as new. He returned a fortnight later to do a proper power flush the earlier one by Putney Plumbers did nothing at all. He also did a couple of other plumbing jobs while he was here - new outside tap and replacement ballcock on cold tank. The bill for all this work was close to 2000 but this was proportionate to the materials used and time taken. I had previously paid out similar amounts for work which failed to solve the problem. I would be happy to use Anthony again and recommend him highly.

It was not the first time Anthony has come to our rescue, as amongst other tasks he's been asked to fix, he came to stop a leak in the loft. He is a plumber much in demand! As for the Viessmann boiler, he submitted a detailed schedule of the work that needed to be done to install the new boiler and the quote was well detailed with the work that would be involved. He is a very neat and tidy workman. He left the place immaculate each time he left for the day. Much of his time was spent unloading, and at the end of the day, reloading his very superior-looking van. He also found time to bring things downstairs, change a lightbulb and generally do the odd job he found to do. A thoroughly nice person and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Had an emergency when kitchen pipe started leaking into flat below. Water pipe was found to be embedded in concrete. Bourne Plumbing dealt with this quickly and efficiently. Subsequently had new kitchen installed and Bourne Plumbing completed all the pipework. Company is reliable and do an excellent job.

My boiler stopped working on one of the coldest days this year and I found Bourne Plumbing & Heating on Which Trusted Trader site. I telephoned at 8.30 am and Anthony came to inspect my 14 year old system at 9am and we discussed repairing or replacing. He promised to deliver a quote by the evening. Since I had no other means of heating he offered to purchase heaters of my choice and they arrived within the hour. A quote arrived that evening and I accepted next day and 2 working days later Anthony arrived with a Viessmann Vitodens 100 boiler, a Magna-Clean filtration unit and 12 thermostatic radiator valves plus dust sheets and a hoover. The work took 3 days plus a 1-day Power Flush during the next l4 days. There were no unforeseen extras and the work was carried out in a most efficient and professional manner and I would not hesitate to recommend Anthony.

We had a damp patch in the concrete floor of our cloakroom. Anthony neatly dug out the floor and exposed the piping, and after discussing our options with us, he capped off the faulty piping. The work was completed quickly and without any mess. We would recommend him!

I asked Bourne Plumbing to service my 45-year old heating boiler. On starting the job a fault was identified which could not be rectified as the faulty part was now obsolete. Anthony advised that continued use of the boiler was dangerous. He therefore fitted a new boiler with the minimum of delay after I had accepted his very detailed estimate I was greatly impressed with Anthony's approach to the work. Clearly an expert, he was thorough, quick, clean and willingly answered my queries which arose during the course of the project. All the work detailed in the estimate was carried out punctiliously: and an unexpected emergency that arose was handled with impressive aplomb. Anthony is very professional in his work and does an excellent job. I would certainly use his services again.

I want to say a huge thank you to Anthony for coming to my aid at a very difficult time. My husband was rushed to hospital a few weeks ago and will be there for some time before recovery. Shortly after this, we noticed the hot water had become tepid and no amount of overriding or adding an extra hour on the main control panel made a difference. Normally my husband would know how to fix the issue. Anthony came recommended by my neighbours. He took my call, was very understanding and patient with my inexpert plumbing knowledge and made a diagnosis straight away. He arranged an appointment at short notice, came round, inspected all the controls, the tank and the boiler and very quickly isolated and sorted the problem - a faulty valve that controlled the temperature of the water tank. He was tidy, professional, efficient and most important of all, very kind. He took the time to go over the control panels, how they worked and what to do if there was a need to troubleshoot or if I were to experience difficulties in the future. He also told me how Which was a trusted site for consumers looking for genuine, reliable and competent businesses in every area of expertise. I cannot speak more highly of the top-notch work Anthony has done for us. Embarrassingly, we hadn't had our heating system serviced in the 7 years in which we've lived the house and with a few leaky radiators thanks to some overzealous carpet fitters, Anthony's expertise and knowledge was a god send! What I also loved was his ability to make our system even more optimal than it was with a few tweaks, then explaining in simple terms what he'd done. It's really been a fantastic service and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Anthony has recently installed a new Viessmann boiler for us which included providing extra pipework. At the same time he carried out an extensive power flush of our central heating system and has now replaced the thermostatic valves on our radiators. A great advantage of having a new Viessmann boiler is that it comes with a 12-year warranty. Installing and insulating the extra pipework was quite complicated as it involved working in a very tight space in our loft. Throughout this work Anthony arrived punctually at the agreed time and on the agreed date. He carried out the work meticulously and professionally, and covered any area susceptible to dirt with dustsheets that he brought with him. He took great care to ensure that no water dripped or leaked when he was working on the piping and carrying out the power flush. At each stage of the work he carefully explained what he would be doing next. At the end of the installation he cleared everything up and left the house neat and tidy and without any mess. We can highly recommend Anthony if you need a professional plumber who knows what he is doing, gets on with the job without any fuss, tidies everything up, and - more generally - will live up to your expectations.

I hired Anthony to fit a replacement for my toilet. He came to see the existing unit. He advised me what type of toilet to get and quickly responded with a quote. Once I agreed to the quote and purchased a new toilet we arranged a time (within a few days) for him to carry out the fitting which he completed on schedule, to a high standard. Had a fantastic experience with Anthony from Bourne Heating & Plumbing when he replaced a radiator in my home. The work carried out by Anthony was outstanding and completed to the highest standard. Calling him for some urgent jobs which suddenly made life in the family home quite tricky (leaking loo, blocked shower draining pipe), I found him responsive, agreeing to come round on the same day, punctual, and super efficient in his dealing with the various tasks. He listens carefully and is utterly professional in his approach to work.
