Anthony is a consummate professional. He was punctual, courteous and extremely knowledgeable in his field and very quickly I knew that I was in a safe pair of hands. He gave sound advice and I felt very comfortable knowing that the job to our bathroom would be done to a high standard and his skills did not disappoint. As key workers we've used other tradespeople and have been messed about, which is not what you need during these challenging Covid times. Anthony fitted a new Viessmann boiler. We also had a full power flush which was badly needed as our radiators are over 25 years old. This was done two weeks after the original work of installing the boiler and treating the radiators. As he worked other problems came to light and options were discussed and agreed. He repaired the outside brickwork to a high standard and cleared up after each days work. Anthony was professional and explained what he was doing in an easy way for us to understand. He keeps up to date with new ideas and advances in his profession.

My flat sprung a leak during the Bank Holiday. Bourne Plumbing came out and dealt with the issue extremely promptly much to our relief! I feel they went above and beyond what I would have expected - by addressing another issue that was also there. They were also very polite and professional from start to finish. I discovered a gas leak one evening at 6pm and my gas supply had to be shut off, leaving me without heating or hot water. Bourne Plumbing and Heating was recommended to me. I rang and got Tony, who to my great relief, was able to come first thing the next morning. He gave me advice about the necessary repair, but for my own peace of mind, I asked him to install a new gas supply pipe from meter to boiler. Tony had all the necessary materials on the van and completed the work within a few hours. He was fast, efficient, clean and tidy in my home. He explained what he was doing and why, reassuring me all safety checks had been done. I have no hesitation in recommending Bourne Plumbing and Heating.

We had been recommended Anthony and contacted him to fit a new heating system and install a Viessmann boiler as part of our house renovation. We were really impressed with his work and his high standards. Helpfully, he was also available during and after the work, in the evenings and at weekends, with any questions or queries we had. Would highly recommend.

Had a recommendation from a friend when we were looking for someone to re-jig our bathroom quickly as my husband had been diagnosed with cancer -and was not disappointed. He created a fantastic walk in shower for us which is a joy to use. I will certainly use his services again. Professional and a pleasure to have working in the house.

Our kitchen tap had come loose. Another plumber had fixed it, but it came loose again. He tightened it up again. It came loose again. He said it needed a carpenter and sent another estimate. The work required was not easy given the position of the tap and the nature of the kitchen worktops. Essentially it required working under the worktop to cut out some existing wood and replace it with a structure that would hold the tap properly going forward. It would be far better if the problem had been identified from the start. Also why did we have to pay for it not to be fixed and then pay the same company again to do it properly? Therefore we contacted Bourne Plumbing and Heating (strongly recommended from a neighbour). They came when they said they would, identified the problem and spent two hours fixing it. The work was neat and the space left clean. It is four days later. The tap is currently fine and I assume it will continue to be given my neighbour's recommendation. It is a good thing to be able to call in someone and know that a problem will be fixed properly. On ratings below: service I am confident on. Quality: I can't see the work and four days in I have no idea how to tell. The previous 'fix' was fine for a month. However my neighbour is very pernickety and is very pleased so I am happy going along with that. Value: I am no expert, but the price seemed reasonable and frankly I am quite happy to pay well for a job well done.

My toilet flush push button broke. I had a look and it's just not something I could fix myself as many parts needed removing / replacing in the cistern. I contacted 5 local plumbers and only Anthony from Bourne came back He came at the agreed time, went out of his way to find spare parts and fixed it. He also suggested to install stop valves to the water tanks, to avoid having to flush the whole tank next time round … Really happy with the service and will definitely use Bourne again and can recommend them.

Anthony did a great job! (I initially had a "Plumber" come around and misidentify an issue, fail to identify and fix the actually issue and then giving me enough "lingo" to convince me I needed a new boiler. They then came around installed the boiler very poorly and tried to steal parts I had paid for, leaving the boiler not installed correctly and in a way that was going to cause damage and be potentially dangerous if not fixed). Luckily, I found Anthony who was able to come around and check the install and identify issues that had to be addressed, he was very professional and handed me his business card initially which was reassuring and showed a great standard for business practices. He then come around and fixed the issues making the boiler safe. The install work he did was great, he added safety and control features not previously present and the pipework looked great. Anthony was very straight forward and clearly knows his craft. I would recommend Anthony to anyone that needs plumbing work. Having someone you can trust to do identify and carry out the needed work in your home and to do a great job is a huge relief. Thank you again.

I decided not to mess about when getting my boiler, radiators, hot water tank and other associated kit replaced but, instead, to use a Which Trusted Trader - so glad that I did. Anthony did everything in a timely, helpful and thorough manner, even coming out to sort out a minor problem with the water tank afterwards for no additional charge. Everything was completed on schedule, the house was left tidy and he provided a full folder of reference information - very impressive. Anthony only uses Viessmann boilers, which I believe are also recommended by Which? I know nothing about plumbing but the kit all looks great and the water is always nice and hot now. Definitely recommended.

I have used Tony for many years, he has always been professional, always does the right thing and meets his commitments. Tony installed a boiler and maintained it for many years, always servicing it as required. He has changed loads of taps in the property always supplying and fitting quality taps. Tony also removed an old water tank which required ceilings to be removed, plastered and a larger hatch to be fitting in the new ceiling. He managed all of this for us including the carpenter, plasterer and painter. If you are looking for someone who knows what to do, is professional, trustworthy and friendly, Tony is your man.

I have asked Tony to carry out work at my house before and each time he has been prompt, informative and efficient; I always know the work done will be professionally and without cutting any corners. Fixes have always been permanent and new installations properly considered and fairly priced. Definitely would recommend this plumber for any work, from small issues to large projects.

Anthony was very quick to respond to my gas leak. Just before Christmas. I really appreciated that he sorted it there and then so I could continue with my plans for Christmas.

We know Anthony from the time we were living in a rented flat in Ealing. We had a few drain blockages there and he had come to unblock them. Later when we moved to our home we had a similar drain block with our bathroom sink. Like previous instances, he unblocked it successfully. Recently we had a leak issue with the pipes underneath the kitchen sink. He replaced the pipes and the leak stopped. He also replaced a faulty washing machine inlet valve and replaced it with a new one. He is very professional, polite and helpful in examining and recommending different solutions to a problem. What impressed me the most about Anthony is his honesty. We had called him some months ago for some leak issues and he recommended us to try different ways to resolve the problems, for example, to get in touch with the company who did the job and ask them to replace the faulty part if it is within the warranty period and to pursue the contractor who did the faulty job and to be assertive with him to fix the issue. That was very nice of him to guide us in the right direction and not to take advantage of us. We really appreciate it.

I hired Anthony of Bourne Plumbing and Heating to install my new Viessmann central heating boiler. Anthony is my go-to plumber for any plumbing work, from minor maintenance to major installations such as this. The job was not straightforward as the new Viessmann boiler needed to be installed on an outside wall, unlike my previous 30 year old floor-standing model with a flue up the chimney. Water and gas pipes needed to be run through a wall to the new location. All this was done efficiently, with the minimum of fuss. Anthony works closely with Colin, a carpenter with decades of experience, who boxed in the exposed pipework, leaving an excellent cosmetic finish. He also created a custom-built cupboard to fill the void where the old boiler used to be. I recommend Bourne Plumbing and Heating for all your plumbing needs.
