My name is Anthony and I have been running Bourne Plumbing & Heating a family run business, for over 27 years. I offer a wide range of services, from full bathroom installations to emergency call-outs. I am also on hand to help out with smaller jobs, such as fixing leaky taps or unblocking drains.

I approached Anthony as a result of recommendations on this website and he answered the phone immediately. He arranged to fit a kitchen tap and two isolating valves at a tenanted flat in Ealing and everything proceeded without problem. Anthony let me know by email that the job had been completed and sent me a copy of his invoice with payment instructions. The tenants were also very pleased with his professional and courteous manner. I would have no hesitation in using his services again.

I had another trader (recommended by a friend) come in to do a service on a boiler and it was disappointing - a leak was not detected (to add insult to injury it then cost a fortune for a simple bracket to be replaced). I turned to Which?Local and found Tony Bourne listed - the prompt service was very welcome (he came out within a couple of hours). The fix was applied on the spot and I do not think that the cost was that prohibitive given the peace of mind that I got (and I think that these services are generally expensive). At least I can now trust someone to do the job properly. Highly recommended and will use Tony's services again I am sure.

Our ageing boiler broke down on Christmas Day and I called Tony on Boxing Day. He came round pretty quickly and got it running again - though this could only be a temporary repair. This month he has installed a new Viessman boiler, flushed out the radiators, installed new thermostats, checked existing pipework and replaced a piece which was too narrow. As many reviewers have said, Tony is prompt, efficient, tidy, and knows his stuff. We are very happy with the new boiler and would certainly recommend him to others.

Tony has been to our house twice, initially to diagnose and repair a problem with our gas central heating boiler, and secondly to replace a faulty valve on the system, install a new immersion heater and do a routine service on the boiler. On both occasions he has arrived promptly, carried out the work efficiently and been pleasant and courteous to deal with. Along with his many other customers, I can happily recommend him

Tony has done three bits of work for me now: servicing a boiler, fixing a problem with a toilet cistern, and replacing a central heating radiator valve. He carried out all these jobs extremely well and in a very fuss-free way. He will definitely be the first plumber I will call on future occasions.

I decided to try Bourne Plumbing after reading the good reviews and putting up with unreliable plumbers for the last few years. I organised a landlord's gas safety check with Anthony via email . He was right on time, tidy and polite - therefore no problem with him working in a premises with occupied tenants. He completed the work as expected for which I paid him. Within days, the invoice arrived in the post. Overall, very professional and will definitely use again.

Complete refurbishment of my bathroom, including tiling, decorating and installing a new wash hand basin, shower and toilet. The work was completed to the highest quality and I am delighted with the result. I first came across Mr Sawczuk of Bourne Heating and Plumbing when I bought my house 30 years ago. He carried out major re-plumbing of the house and I am pleased to say that his work has stood the test of time. He recently repaired a shower mixer, and a faulty toilet cistern and upgraded several gate vales and stop cocks. He arrived when he said he would, and did the work in a day. While he is not the cheapest plumber around, His work is of high quality and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

I needed a replacement mixer tap in my kitchen and Anthony gave some very helpful advice about which type would be best. He installed it on a later visit, fitting the work in at a convenient time for me even though he was particularly busy with a major project that week. He is easy to contact and very straightforward in his dealings, and I recommend him highly.

I recently found this plumber through Which local and was very pleased with his curteous and professional approach. He solved several minor plumbing problems with no trouble and left the areas clean and tidy. In terms of value for money I do not know what the 'going rate' for these jobs is, but am sure it was worth the charge in terms of confidence inthe tasks having been done properly. He gave me good advice and has left me able to turn off independent areas of my plumbing for future convenience. I would thoroughly recommend his work.

Anthony installed a new boiler and radiators as well as removing the old boiler and radiators. The quote he provided was extremely detailed and professional and there were no hidden extras when we got the final bill. His workmanship was excellent, he turned up when he said he would and was extremely tidy, at the ned of each day you would not have known he had been there. His advice was very helpfull, he completed the job on time and we could not be happier with the work done. We were so impressed that we have asked him to provide a quote for a new bathroom.
