My flat sprung a leak during the Bank Holiday. Bourne Plumbing came out and dealt with the issue extremely promptly much to our relief! I feel they went above and beyond what I would have expected - by addressing another issue that was also there. They were also very polite and professional from start to finish. Tony installed a new Viessmann boiler, new pump, new piping and power flushed the system through. Always turned up at time arranged and worked a full day. A routine gas safety inspection turned up a slow gas leak and the gas supply was capped, leaving me without heating and hot water. I rang Anthony Sawczuk at Bourne and explained the situation. He was able to come the next morning, installed a new gas pipe between meter and boiler, and provided a new gas safety certificate. What more can you ask? Well done!

I discovered a gas leak one evening at 6pm and my gas supply had to be shut off, leaving me without heating or hot water. Bourne Plumbing and Heating was recommended to me. I rang and got Tony, who to my great relief, was able to come first thing the next morning. He gave me advice about the necessary repair, but for my own peace of mind, I asked him to install a new gas supply pipe from meter to boiler. Tony had all the necessary materials on the van and completed the work within a few hours. He was fast, efficient, clean and tidy in my home. He explained what he was doing and why, reassuring me all safety checks had been done. I have no hesitation in recommending Bourne Plumbing and Heating.

I needed removal of totally coroded waste disposal which stopped working, not replacing it, and turning the sink into functional sink. Anthony Sawczuk performed the job efficiently, quickly and very well. The kitchen remained clean, there was no water anywhere and the sink functions well with a new plug which was provided by him. He worked for about an hour and a half - seemed to me very efficient. The cost was reasonable. Would use him again and recommend him.

Probably the best plumber we've ever used in terms of quality of work. Great care was taken with the elements and quality of the installation and we were consulted on every step and then trained at the end. Of course, such quality takes longer and so this is not the cheapest service. But it's well worth it. We were advised to install a Viessmann boiler which so far, works perfectly.

Maybe you know that sinking feeling when you think the old boiler won't last another winter and you just dread the thought of all the upheaval of getting a new one. This had been the worry for us for a few years until we experienced the first-rate work of Bourne Plumbing. We were impressed by the neat and tidy workmanship when Tony successfully sourced and fitted a new hob. I found Anthony through the reviews on Which. I was having problems with my existing boiler which had been fitted some 14 years ago. He responded promptly to my request for a visit, after inspection it was clear the boiler needed to be replaced and suggested a Viessmann boiler. I have used Anthony before and he has always done excellent work and been helpful and prompt in his response. On Sunday I found that my boiler was leaking and so I called Anthony and he came promptly the next morning. He identified the problem which was a leak in the plastic diverter valve, ordered the replacement part and then fitted it the next morning. He also provided good advice on using the boiler in the short interim between his ordering the valve and fitting it and on ensuring that the water pressure level was not too high. He is always helpful and polite and takes pride in his work. I always feel confident that he will provide me with a highly professional service and he also responds quickly to calls and understands the importance of clear and regular communication.

I asked Bourne Plumbing to service my 45-year old heating boiler. On starting the job a fault was identified which could not be rectified as the faulty part was now obsolete. Anthony advised that continued use of the boiler was dangerous. He therefore fitted a new boiler with the minimum of delay after I had accepted his very detailed estimate I was greatly impressed with Anthony's approach to the work. Clearly an expert, he was thorough, quick, clean and willingly answered my queries which arose during the course of the project. All the work detailed in the estimate was carried out punctiliously: and an unexpected emergency that arose was handled with impressive aplomb. Anthony is very professional in his work and does an excellent job. I would certainly use his services again.

The job proved to be a particular complicated task since the rust under the old tap made it impossible to extract without risk of damage to the black kitchen sink. The plumber (Anthony Sawczuk) was able to complete the task with little obvious damage. He was utterly professional, explaining the options quite clearly once he had inspected the work to be done. I have used Anthony on many occasions in the past (he re-fitted my bathroom last year) and, when my old central heating system ceased to function in February, I contacted him again for his assistance. His service is always prompt, reliable and highly efficient. He explained to me what he was going to do before commencing the work and provided an acceptable estimate. Eminently trustworthy, he completed the work whilst I was away from my flat and met me when I had returned to explain the Viessmann central heating system to me in detail. He always leaves my flat clean and tidy after the work has been completed. A toilet cistern had sprung a leak from its water input. We had turned off its supply and drained it, so we were not an emergency, but Anthony came the same day, and did an excellent job. Previous work by a plumber we will not name had left the cistern with a very slow leak (from a different place) despite much tightening, necessitating keeping a drip tray in place. Anthony removed the cistern, replaced all the innards, which were found to have been incorrectly sealed and were spoilt, and fitted a new supply feeder pipe and tap; he clearly keeps a stock of routine parts in his van. We now have a cistern which is drip-free and works better than before. He was totally professional, showed us clearly why the replacement parts were needed, left no mess, and inspired confidence. His bill came to just under what we had expected. I hope we don't need a plumber again soon, but when we do he will be the first we approach.

Anthony fitted a new Viessmann boiler. We also had a full power flush which was badly needed as our radiators are over 25 years old. This was done two weeks after the original work of installing the boiler and treating the radiators. As he worked other problems came to light and options were discussed and agreed. He repaired the outside brickwork to a high standard and cleared up after each days work. Anthony was professional and explained what he was doing in an easy way for us to understand. He keeps up to date with new ideas and advances in his profession.

After a poor installation of our previous boiler 11 years ago and a sub-standard annual service contract, both from British Gas, we used Bourne Plumbing & Heating for the first time to replace our gas boiler & upgrade our system to meet current standards. On Anthony’s recommendation we chose a Viessmann Vitodens 100-W compact condensing boiler. A power flush to the system was required. We were surprised at the amount of debris & sludge that had accumulated in our system. Anthony’s work exceeded all our expectations. He is extremely professional and takes the time to explain clearly all stages of the job. He is punctual, courteous, clean & tidy. The price was excellent value. We have no hesitation in recommending him (indeed, we have already done so twice, since he completed our job). We will definitely use him again.

Anthony was able to start very quickly to deal with our 20 year old failing boiler. He was very considerate of our need to restore our heating system quickly and worked very hard to clear blocked pipes and restore function to radiators that had not worked properly for some time. This required a number of replacement parts and considerable unforeseeable extra work. I was kept advised of all the additional work required and approved all extra items when it was clear that they were needed. Although additional cost was incurred I believe that I received very good value for my money. I am now enjoying a warm house from a far more sophisticated system which will be self cleaning and regulating - very welcome with colder weather on the way. I have asked Anthony to provide the annual service of the Viessmann Boiler.

Over the last three weeks, Anthony Sawczuk has repaired a leaking water pipe, replaced and upgraded the valves and controls for our hot water and central heating system, cleaned out the expansion tank, replaced a radiator and carried out a power flush of our central heating system. In all this work, we have found that Anthony is careful, considerate, thorough and efficient. He spends as long as is needed to complete the job so that we have never felt we were being rushed. He uses dust sheets to protect floor coverings and cleans up everything afterwards. In addition, Anthony has been very punctual, always arriving at the agreed time. He took great care to explain what needed doing and how he was going to carry out the work and replied promptly to all our e-mails. He provided written estimates and kept within budget for each aspect of the work that he carried out. We shall be very happy to use Anthony's services again in the future.

Tony replaced our old gas boiler and installed a new Veissmann Boiler and pumps, we are delighted with the performance. He also replaced the old pipe work to our hot water tank, replaced all the radiator valves and refurbished our expansion tank fittings. He completed a total power flush of our system. Tony was extremely professional, explained the process and the features of all the fittings, he did not stop working until he was 100% satisfied with the installation, he left minimum disruption over night. He always arrived at the agreed times. He was extremely clean using mats and sheets to minimise dirt and rubble in our house. He provided a fast and efficient service. The central heating system and the hot water system have now been operating for 10 days, very hot and silent, we are very pleased. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Tony and Bourne Plumbing, and will certainly use him for all my future maintenance work.
