Tony was recommended by a friend. After having no heating over Christmas for 5 days Tony came on 27th December and fixed the boiler. The cost was very reasonable. He happily came back to re-adjust the boiler cover so that the pressure gauge was more visible. I would recommend.

Tony advised on the purchase of the basin and taps and installed them on the day agreed. The job was completed to our satisfaction and we are very pleased. We were consulted where alternatives were available and able to express our preference before the action was undertaken. We will use Tony again with confidence.

Earlier this year, Anthony Sawczuk installed a new boiler and upgraded an ageing heating system. Throughout the process his communications, punctuality, tidiness, and flexibility were excellent. Estimates of costs were clear and detailed. His extensive knowledge, experience and advice were invaluable and his workmanship was meticulous. It is testimony to the quality of his work that the installed Viessmann boiler, with a 5 year warranty, was extended (gratis) to 12 years.

How many times have you moaned about finding a tradesperson you can rely on? A neighbour strongly recommended Anthony Bourne having used him a number of times. I have used him twice now The first time was to fix a tap (someone else failed badly) and this time to replace a boiler. The boiler installed is a Viessmann with a twelve year guarantee. Extra work was needed given a leaking immersion heater, so the initial quote became irrelevant. The work is thorough, the sense of responsibility high, he turns up when he says he will, everything is completed and tidied up very neatly. All I could want: job defined, work done properly and no problems.

This firm supplied and fitted a new gas fired wall hung central heating "ATAG" boiler covered by an 18 year warranty and completely overhauled my central heating system comprising sixteen radiators. This included replacement valves on all radiators and two motorised valves to control the direction of flow in the system. They also carried out a power flush of the system and magnetised filtering to remove minute metallic particles from the circulating fluid before finally adding inhibitor to the system. Anthony, the Principal of the firm, undertook this work and is very thorough. He is a pleasure to have working in one's home and I recommend him strongly to any householder who is contemplating a similar project.

Anthony has done several jobs for us - most recently checking out our boiler, fixing a leak and replacing faulty taps. Each time he arranged a visit quickly and rectified the problems. He is very straightforward, extremely helpful and highly professional. We would recommend him very highly indeed.

Our boiler needed replacement and Tony recommended a Viessmann boiler which was installed with system protection and a power flush. A 12 year warranty has been placed on the boiler. Through out Tony has been helpful and considerate. The work was completed on time and within budget and all waste removed. Would employ them again.

For years we have suffered from a damp cellar, and the source of the water ingress remained undetectable. Whilst gardening works were being done, our outside tap was found to be culpable, with a substantial leak underground. This was discovered just before the weekend, but Tony came and sorted the problem out the following morning. A professional job, which solved a long-standing mystery, at a reasonable price in the circumstances.

Tony Bourne has just serviced my 12 year old Valiant boiler. He was efficient, thorough and professional. He came prepared with all his tools and a box of brand new radiator valves to replace our old ones. The whole system was drained down, a couple of parts were changed in the boiler and all old and broken valves were replaced. Tony arrived at 9am and with a 40 minute lunch break finished at 5.30pm. He was very systematic, tidy and cleared up everything before he left. I have used Tony's company three times now and each job has been carried out to a high standard. Replaced a leaking shower. The diagnosis was excellent and the estimate was detailed and helpful. As the work progressed we were kept informed about new problems uncovered, and the likely cost of fixing them. The work was carried out in good time and the quality was first-rate. My Viessmann boiler (Vitodens 100-W Compact) had stopped working. After four central heating engineers failed to properly diagnose and resolve the problem, I contacted the Viessmann Company. Their engineer diagnosed a blocked heat exchanger and recommended a power flush. The Viessmann engineer put me in touch with Anthony Sawczuk from Bourne Plumbing. Anthony's magnetic power flush was highly effective - the boiler started working perfectly immediately after the flush, and a new heat exchanger was not needed. I could not be more grateful to Anthony and more in awe of his expertise.

Tony supplied and installed a new 170L indirect Megaflo unit as a replacement for an existing one and made essential alterations to the domestic hot and cold water system. He also serviced our Veissman boiler. This is not an easy job to do as the mentioned meglaflo unit was large and very heavy, especially when it was carried upstairs! However Tony carried out all aspects of work without any complaints and worked late into the day to ensure that the works were finished to a high specification. I have nothing but praise for Tony and the skills and professionalism he brings when carrying out and completing a job. I have used Tony for many, many years and will continue to do so and recommend him for all heating and plumbing issues.

This time Anthony fixed a problem and on being asked to do another job made an appointment a couple of days later. He returned and all was done satisfactorily.He has been our plumber of choice for maybe 15 years. He installed our current boiler in 2011 and services it regularly. Anthony has replaced my immersion regularly over the last 12 years as we are in a very hard water area. His work is always good; this time, he replaced a valve to ease emptying the system at the same time because it was taking so long, as the old one had perished. He communicates well by text, which I always value, and turns up when he says he will. Cleans up after the job, too. I can highly recommend him. I've no idea how his costs work out in relation to others, as I now always go to him, so I will give four stars to show I'm not sure rather than five. Hope that's not unfair!

Tony Bourne is a first-rate plumber. He has installed a new boiler, two showers, a pump, and a kitchen waste disposal amongst other tasks for us over the years. He has also fixed bodged jobs left by others. He thinks very carefully about what the job entails and what fittings he will need, arrives with an impressive range of tools, and cleans up thoroughly before he leaves.
