Anthony came over within hours of my calling him, identified the problem quickly (a leak at the base of the toilet) and fixed it straight away. Also gave good advice on other unrelated queries. My boiler stopped working on one of the coldest days this year and I found Bourne Plumbing & Heating on Which Trusted Trader site. I telephoned at 8.30 am and Anthony came to inspect my 14 year old system at 9am and we discussed repairing or replacing. He promised to deliver a quote by the evening. Since I had no other means of heating he offered to purchase heaters of my choice and they arrived within the hour. A quote arrived that evening and I accepted next day and 2 working days later Anthony arrived with a Viessmann Vitodens 100 boiler, a Magna-Clean filtration unit and 12 thermostatic radiator valves plus dust sheets and a hoover. The work took 3 days plus a 1-day Power Flush during the next l4 days. There were no unforeseen extras and the work was carried out in a most efficient and professional manner and I would not hesitate to recommend Anthony.

My flat sprung a leak during the Bank Holiday. Bourne Plumbing came out and dealt with the issue extremely promptly much to our relief! I feel they went above and beyond what I would have expected - by addressing another issue that was also there. They were also very polite and professional from start to finish. The charge was reasonable and the customer service was excellent. I intend to use this service again for plumbing needs. Many thanks for an excellent job.

Tony installed a new Viessmann boiler, new pump, new piping and power flushed the system through. Always turned up at time arranged and worked a full day. Proved to be extremely reliable and trustworthy - we were happy to trust him with keys when we weren't there. Also, left the house in a clean state every evening. Would unreservedly recommend.

He responded promptly to my request for a visit, after inspection it was clear the boiler needed to be replaced and suggested a Viessmann boiler. New Viessmann boiler installation. I have known Anthony for some years and he has always given good advice, and provided an excellent and fast service. He replaced my old boiler and fitted a new one in a very tight space. Worked hard and tidily, accomplishing the job in one day. Cleaned up afterwards, and the price was very agreeable. Showed up exactly when he said he would to fix an on-going problem with plumbing in the kitchen. Diagnosed the problem immediately (the original plumbing was a mess of pipes going in all directions), had the spares in his van, and sorted it out to an excellent standard for a reasonable price. There have been no problems since and I am very satisfied. Furthermore, how nice to have a polite and courteous tradesman...

Fixed faulty lavatory cistern cleanly, efficiently and quickly in spite of being supplied with a faulty replacement unit. Very fair price.

Anthony fitted a new Viessmann boiler. We also had a full power flush which was badly needed as our radiators are over 25 years old. This was done two weeks after the original work of installing the boiler and treating the radiators. As he worked other problems came to light and options were discussed and agreed. He repaired the outside brickwork to a high standard and cleared up after each days work. Anthony was professional and explained what he was doing in an easy way for us to understand. He keeps up to date with new ideas and advances in his profession.

Responded very quickly and was able to come out at short notice. Very reliable and got the job done with no issues. Wore all the correct protective gear and kept me informed through the whole process. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Anthony was able to start very quickly to deal with our 20 year old failing boiler. He was very considerate of our need to restore our heating system quickly and worked very hard to clear blocked pipes and restore function to radiators that had not worked properly for some time. This required a number of replacement parts and considerable unforeseeable extra work. I was kept advised of all the additional work required and approved all extra items when it was clear that they were needed. Although additional cost was incurred I believe that I received very good value for my money. I am now enjoying a warm house from a far more sophisticated system which will be self cleaning and regulating - very welcome with colder weather on the way. I have asked Anthony to provide the annual service of the Viessmann Boiler.

Anthony addressed our problems with the minimum of fuss and explained very clearly what needed doing. He was very thorough and professional. Bourne Plumbing was recommended by a friend as my own plumber was not working due to Covid. Anthony Sawczuk visited twice. Initially managed to get boiler functioning but it failed the next morning. When contacted, he ordered the correct part and visited the following day and fitted. The boiler has worked ever since. The work was carried out to a professional standard. We were kept informed and were relieved Anthony maintained social distance, wore a mask and gloves and carried out the work efficiently with a high degree of cleanliness.

This is the second time we have used Anthony's services and would definitely use him again. He mended our broken water tank and replaced a new pump. The work was done quickly, efficiently and at a reasonable price. Would recommend.

I called Anthony for the first time. He helped to replaced our Magaflo unvented hot water cylinder. He provided a professional neat service and definitely switch to him for annual boiler/central heating servicing and other plumbing works in my house.

Came straight away in the middle of December on hearing about my lack of heating. Diagnosed the problem and set about sorting it out. The communication system to my boiler needed changing and this was done efficiently and quickly. Electric heaters were left with me to make sure that I was not cold. These were left with me after he had finished in case the boiler played up again. It did not thankfully.

I cannot speak more highly of the top-notch work Anthony has done for us. Embarrassingly, we hadn't had our heating system serviced in the 7 years in which we've lived the house and with a few leaky radiators thanks to some overzealous carpet fitters, Anthony's expertise and knowledge was a god send! What I also loved was his ability to make our system even more optimal than it was with a few tweaks, then explaining in simple terms what he'd done. Anthony has recently installed a new Viessmann boiler for us which included providing extra pipework. At the same time he carried out an extensive power flush of our central heating system and has now replaced the thermostatic valves on our radiators. A great advantage of having a new Viessmann boiler is that it comes with a 12-year warranty. Installing and insulating the extra pipework was quite complicated as it involved working in a very tight space in our loft. Throughout this work Anthony arrived punctually at the agreed time and on the agreed date. He carried out the work meticulously and professionally, and covered any area susceptible to dirt with dustsheets that he brought with him. He took great care to ensure that no water dripped or leaked when he was working on the piping and carrying out the power flush. At each stage of the work he carefully explained what he would be doing next. At the end of the installation he cleared everything up and left the house neat and tidy and without any mess. We can highly recommend Anthony if you need a professional plumber who knows what he is doing, gets on with the job without any fuss, tidies everything up, and - more generally - will live up to your expectations.

Tony carried the annual boiler maintenance in this instance. He was efficient, polite and friendly. As always his work was to an excellent standard and he cleaned up afterwards. In the past he has solved minor plumbing problems and also carried out the boiler installation. No complaints, only praise.

He repurposed part of an old tap so I didn't need to replace the set, saving me money. He also advised getting a botched radiator job fixed for free by the company responsible rather than me paying him to do it, which impressed me. Finally, I requested a separate invoice for the work covered by my home insurance, which he provided. The whole experience was reassuring and professional, which we all want when hiring tradespeople!

I hired Anthony to fit a replacement for my toilet. He came to see the existing unit. He advised me what type of toilet to get and quickly responded with a quote. Once I agreed to the quote and purchased a new toilet we arranged a time (within a few days) for him to carry out the fitting which he completed on schedule, to a high standard. How many times have you moaned about finding a tradesperson you can rely on? A neighbour strongly recommended Anthony Bourne having used him a number of times. I have used him twice now The first time was to fix a tap (someone else failed badly) and this time to replace a boiler. The boiler installed is a Viessmann with a twelve year guarantee. Extra work was needed given a leaking immersion heater, so the initial quote became irrelevant. The work is thorough, the sense of responsibility high, he turns up when he says he will, everything is completed and tidied up very neatly. All I could want: job defined, work done properly and no problems.

My Viessmann boiler (Vitodens 100-W Compact) had stopped working. After four central heating engineers failed to properly diagnose and resolve the problem, I contacted the Viessmann Company. Their engineer diagnosed a blocked heat exchanger and recommended a power flush. The Viessmann engineer put me in touch with Anthony Sawczuk from Bourne Plumbing. Anthony's magnetic power flush was highly effective - the boiler started working perfectly immediately after the flush, and a new heat exchanger was not needed. I could not be more grateful to Anthony and more in awe of his expertise.
