I found Anthony on Which? Trusted Traders and contacted him in relation to a leak in our toilet, but was disappointed in the services I received. It took him over a month to repair the leak after his initial visit. During this period, I had to chase several times for updates, with many unreturned phones calls and e-mails. The quality of the work (when I eventually managed to get an appointment) was good, and he left the work area clean, but it’s simply not worth the hassle. Unfortunately, I will not be using his services in the future, and I would not recommend him to anyone.

I used Bourne Plumbing earlier this year - excellent fast response and very polite and helpful. However before any big job, I would check in advance what he charges - especially for spare parts. I was shocked when the invoice came and double checked with a local plumbers' merchants - there had a been a 250% mark up. This was especially galling as one of the jobs had been incorrectly diagnosed and both the labour and expensive spare part did not fix the problem.

New Boiler and hot water cylinder installed. Job very well done, always here when he said he would be and always picks up the phone if there are questions (which there always are when a new system is installed). The boiler which was recommended and installed was a "VIESSMANN" and we are very happy with it.

Anthony Sawczuk (Bourne plumbing & heating) replaced my old system boiler with a new combi Viessmann boiler. He did an excellent job, was very professional throughout and completed the whole job in 3 days. He also lent us some electric heaters whilst our old boiler was out of service. He recommended the Viessmann boiler, I hadn't heard of them but after talking to Anthony and doing my own research I agreed with his verdict; working very well so far and has better warranties than other brands I knew of. Overall, I highly recommend Anthony's work.æ

I found this company using Which Local. The work entailed relocating two radiators, swapping a small radiator for a larger one and installing an external watering tap. The work was done promptly and efficiently over two visits to suit our house moving schedule.

Anthony has done a number of jobs at our property (fixing a boiler, replacing taps, removing a lead pipe, installing gas heating etc). Despite being busy, he was able to turn up at short notice (and arrived on time for pre-arranged appointments) and carried out the work efficiently and at a fair price. Would recommend him to anyone and will continue using him myself.

Good news people if you are looking for a prompt professional plumber Tony Bourne is the man to call. I got his number from which local, I phoned him and he was there he repaired my leaking pipe and also attended to some other minor repairs that i had on hold . He was tidy and clean and the bill was good value, important in these current times.

Called Tony late afternoon - he was able to come round that evening which suited my availability. He was punctual and got the job done quickly and efficiently (a leaking tap). He explained what he was doing and alerted us to the fact that because of the design of the tap the same problem was likely to happen again. Would use him again and have recommended him to friends.

Quick, effective and friendly. Came when he said he would (sooner than we expected) to install a new tap, move our washing machine connections, etc. We have to report that he got the latter back the wrong way round, but I'm sure he'd have rushed to correct it if I hadn't done it myself. Not cheap, but took much less time than we'd expected, so good value, and we'll certainly ask him again.
