My Husband and I had a new electric roller garage door fitted last year by Bournemouth Garage Doors. Have been extremely pleased with it and impressed from start to finish by service received. Recently, my very elderly parents needed their old garage door replacing with an electric one. Bournemouth Garage Doors went to their property (arriving at arranged time), took necessary measurements, made various suggestions and submitted quote which my Parents were happy to accept. The work has now been carried out - earlier than was first anticipated. The door has been beautifully fitted with no damage whatsoever to the exterior paintwork. The Fitters arrived at the arranged given time, extremely polite and courteous and the old door/rubbish was taken away. This Company is excellent from start to finish. Would highly recommend this Company - can't fault anything whatsoever. Really quick service from the team from the date of order (31/8/23) to completion of work on 20th September. Two replacement garage doors fitted by experts, quote was very reasonably priced, lowest of several who quoted for an identical product. The up and over Garadors look great and operate really easily. All done to agreed quote, email communication was excellent, and the team were helpful and tidy, taking away the old doors and fittings. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone who needs a first class job, and is concerned about value for money.

John & his Manager worked hard in extreme heat to replace my garage door. (which in all honesty the old one was bent, hard to open & shut, and in need of replacing for the last 20 years). They communicated well, stuck to the quoted price even when costs went up & did not complain. Even patiently waited for me to test the door which looks so lovely now, along with the lovely new frame and the door glides nicely. I'm very pleased. Highly recommended.

After 5 years of struggling to open our garage door, we decided to obtain some quotes for a replacement. Bournemouth Garage Doors were recommended to us by a friend. They were very competitive so we proceeded. We are so pleased with the door, it looks amazing and makes such a difference. Really pleased with the garage doors I had fitted this week. The 2 installers were really professional and did a quality job, leaving the site spotless on completion. They completed a demo at the end to show how the system worked. Would recommend their services. Price was spot on as well.

We shopped around and found Bournemouth Garage Doors via the Which? Trusted Trader website. We wanted our manual garage door to be easier for my mum to open and close. They gave us a reasonable quote and came back a few days later to do the job. We found them polite and efficient. They took to the time explain the operation and we felt confident that it was well done, they left it all clean and tidy. Couldn’t ask for more really and wish we had done this years ago! Would definitely recommend them.

Jonathan came and quoted swiftly once I contacted him. His costings were not uncompetitive. We gave him the job, and he worked with us to schedule a day to fit the new garage door that was convenient. Cleaned up and showed us how to operate the door before leaving. Would recommend highly.

Before I got quote from Mr Jonathan Nix, I had a few companies come, some told me that the garage door was too old, can’t be repaired, the spring is not making any more. One company tried to replace the spring but failed after 30 minutes trying. However Mr Nix replaced the spring and the price was very reasonable! That’s what we call: the Professional! I’m highly recommending Mr Nix to anyone who has any issues with their garage doors. The best!

The work undertaken to install a new automatic garage door at my home falls far short of what I would expect of a "trusted trader". From the beginning the original installation was made without regard to valuable items being stored in the garage at the time. Later a fault developed which took some weeks to address during which my door was a security risk. We then began to notice that the door panels were colouring differently in the weather. Bournemouth Garage Doors attended in November and admitted to me that the lower panels had clearly not been finished properly. He promised to address the issue but has not even had the decency to reply to my repeated attempts to contact him to get the matter sorted out for several weeks now. Not one word. I would not recommend this "trusted trader" to anyone. He can't even be trusted to at least answer my correspondence. My only recourse now is legal action. If I could give negative stars I would. I have only posted single stars just to get this review posted.
