Joe and his colleague arrived on time and made a lovely job of pruning our olive tree (crown reduction, canopy lift, and shaping). The garden was left clean and tidy. Brighter Outlook are professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. We would definitely use them again.

We have been using Brighter Outlook Tree Surgeons for at least 15 years. They have always given constructive and helpful advice on the pruning of our trees, whether they are covered by TPOs or not. Joe has been patient and professional and his staff always seem cheerful in their work, even under the most difficult of circumstances. Brighter Outlook have just completed the long awaited pruning of our large Magnolia tree. They did this work to the high standard required and kept to their budget. Brighter Outlook were careful to protect other trees, shrubs and flowers, both in our garden and in adjoining properties They also removed all cuttings with care, both during the pruning and when all the work was completed. I also used Brighter Outlook to liaise directly with Richmond Council on my behalf, prior to the pruning work being carried out. This removed a lot of the bureaucratic frustration in communicating with Richmond Council, as their website is far from intuitive to use.

I was delighted that Joe did a site review shortly after my request for help. He advised on removing my dying photinia tree and taking the top weight off an Irish Yew to strengthen it. He is knowledgeable and inspires confidence. At the appointment, Joe and a colleague removed the tree and root ball. They took care not to damage plants in the vicinity and were well equipped for the jobs. They back filled the hole and tidied up well. The job was done quickly and carefully and the invoice matched the estimate. I would not hesitate to use Brighter Outlook again.

Brighter Outlook carried out a lot of pruning and thinning on a number of our trees and the work was carried out extremely professional and efficiently. The tree surgeons were exceptionally friendly and polite and and the garden was left clean and tidy. This was the second time we have used them and we no doubt will use them again in the future. Brighter Outlook Tree Surgeons Ltd is a small local firm. It deserves its 'Brighter' title. Their response to a request for a quote was prompt and the price competitive. The work required was to take back the growth on a small hawthorn tree to the previous year's growing points and to bring in the canopy of a magnificent cypress. The hawthorn is of a modest size but it's position in a flower bed and against a fence, makes it awkward to access. Care was taken to protect the flower bed. The work involved the tree surgeon climbing into the tree to get the job done and hawthorns are not forgiving. The cypress is an impressive tree. It had grown enormously in volume. Again the degree of care taken to keep the overall shape, while reducing the profile, was impressive. Brighter Outlook Tree Surgeons have my strongest possible recommendation.

Excellent service from Joe and his team! We had a very overgrown and dangerous eucalyptus tree, which had broken the ground and was not far from falling. The tree was also in a very restricted location too close to ours and neighbouring houses. Joe came took a look and explained the options, as always provided us with a very clear and sensible set of options, we decided to go ahead and remove the tree completely and have the stump ground out. Joe explained that this would not be a problem and his team arrived a few days earlier than expected and completed the work very safely and efficiently, and with all the mess cleared up ! Everything was done as agreed and with no mess and no fuss exactly as we wanted! I would definitely recommend Joe and his team every time as always their work is high standard professional and safe & tidy ! We we are very happy with the results !

I had a gigantic Eucalyptus tree over 60 feet high in my back garden that overhung several neighbours gardens as well with its branches, that I needed removed. I was concerned in case the felled branches damaged any neighbours properties, but Joe explained that each branch would be roped off and lowered slowly and safely onto my garden. Joe and his team arrived as scheduled and soon set to work in a cheerful and professional manner, they had all the equipment and machinery to move the heavy logs into their lorry outside. They used a stump grinder machine to grind the tree stump that was around a metre in diameter to 2-3 feet below ground level, so no prospect of that tree ever growing again. They cleared up all their debris created and left my garden neat and tidy. They lived up to their name as my garden certainly had a Brighter Outlook once the tree had been removed. I would certainly use Brighter Outlook again if I needed any future tree work done, indeed both my neighbours and friends have also employed Joe and his team to work on their own trees.

This was a job for which tact as well as skill was required as several neighbours were involved, for some of whom the tree presented problems. The work, which was extensive, involved thinning and reducing the bulk of a walnut tree. It was carried out on schedule and within budget. A first visit was made in autumn to discuss the options with us and some of the concerned neighbours, with the work itself carried out in February when the tree was fully dormant. The team were helpful and polite and as unobtrusive as a job like this could ever be. The thinnings were removed from site, both our and neighbouring gardens with little disturbance. We are pleased that the result and believe our neighbours are too. Looking forward we have discussed the future management of the tree with Brighter Outlook, and look forward to doing business with them again.

We used the services of Brighter Outlook for a complete removal of our willow tree which was located right on the edge of the river bank. A challenging job which they did superbly well. Great service and professional people whom we recommend strongly. We would certainly use them again anytime if need be.

Brighter outlook tree surgeons were excellent with a tricky job. The large tree in my garden had started to push a limb against a neighbours outbuilding causing damage. Joe came out to quote and assess the job. He recommended the removal of the limb, and then a reduction of the tree to balance it. The work was completed efficiently and with the minimum of disruption. The team were hard working and knowledgeable, and clearly cared about customer satisfaction.

Brighter outlook did a great job removing a massive eucalputus tree and a large robinia tree from my back garden. The team were really pleasant and worked very quickly to get the job done in the minimum amount of time. They were flexible and agreed do a bit of extra work for me as well as removing the two large trees. They left everything pretty tidy given the amount of work they had to do including obviously lots of sawing. They were also great value for money.

The Brighter Outlook team trimmed a 60 foot length of leylandii hedge, including the top on our neighbour's side, pruned a silver birch and removed an overhanging eucalyptus branch. They arrived punctually and the work was done with a combination of care and speed. We were consulted before the work began and the results were excellent. The site was left very tidy and the team of four were all friendly, helpful and polite. We can highly recommend this company.

Joe's team did a good job and cleared up very well and also poisened the roots. They turned up on time and I agree that the cost was reasonable.

We had x2 branches fell down from a big 60 foot cedar tree. Joe came straight away. His team reduce the height by 3M all around and removed a lot of dead wood and put harness around it. They also did some additional work. They did a fantastic job. I could not have had a better service. They were also reasonably priced.

I would use this company again. I was so pleased with the outcome. I had a large sick and ill 80 year old Damson Tree cut down to a stump. The work was next to the pavement and the team were very professional at setting up a safety zone looking after foot-traffic/passers by. The site was left clean/tidy. The fee was as per estimate.
