Brightside Heating Ltd has changed its trading name to Brightside Heating Services Ltd as from 01.04.2017.

We offer a wide range of expert solutions for gas boilers, heating repair and servicing.

We can even diagnose some faults over the telephone, saving valuable time and money for our customers.

Established in 2001, a family run business, we have built a solid reputation throughout the Medway towns and surrounding areas, and we take pride in offering a one-stop-shop that you can rely on to be efficient, professional and competitively priced for the repair of your heating system.

As Gas Safe registered gas and central heating engineers, we can handle all types of gas boiler and heating system repairs and servicing, gas safety inspections for landlords etc, replacement radiators, cylinders, controls, power flushing and descaling, insurance emergency work and letting agencies.

We can also offer annual maintenance contracts which includes an annual service. See our options plans.

Office staff were very friendly and everything they said would happen did happen. The nice man, Paul, turned up to service my boiler and check the heating system. He even managed to bleed a “self bleeding valve” on a radiator that the previous company I had a contract with said needed replacing. After 7 years it is actually working as it should. Was very fast but thorough. He reset some workings on the boiler so everything is fine for another year. Meanwhile if I do have any problems I now have a maintenance contract with them. If they send Paul again I know we are in good hands. It is a LPG boiler and he obviously knows his trade.

Brightside Heating Services Ltd were sent by my insurance company to investigate an issue with my boiler. They identified the problem and an additional defect. They fixed the initial problem under my insurance and the second defect privately. They clearly explained the issues to me and what was needed to correct them. My boiler has been working perfectly since then. I will use them in future for any private work I need.

Efficient, professional and friendly firm of heating engineers
We have been using this firm for a number of years now for routine gas boiler servicing and maintenance and built up a good relationship. A representative called by arrangement today and carried out an annual routine boiler service and left the area clean and tidy.

I have used the trader for a number of years for servicing, they are always on time, always do a good job, all good people, who are brilliant to talk to and helpful with questions. They usually give me a call when servicing is due to make sure it doesn't get missed. They let you know when they are on their way and I'm also happy with the price.

My cylinder sprang a leak …

My unvented cylinder which powers hot water sprang a leak and my home insurance referred me to Brightside. (And as in their name) Bright and early, plumber Mark: A most pleasant, and low maintenance professional, arrived to sort out and sure up the leak. Further dealings with Brightside on the phone, regarding a possible new cylinder replacement, I received a most informative chat with Gary in the office. He spent a significant amount of time with me outlining my options. Great stuff, Brightside 👌

Home emergency insurance claim through insurers to locate and repair leak

We had an emergency cover plan from our insurers and after discovering leaking water they referred us to Brightside. The initial contact from the Brightside office was immediate, polite and helpful. We were delighted that the plumber came out this morning promptly as promised. Rob was polite and informative as discussed next steps as he investigated the source of the leak. Rob diagnosed and fixed the leak and provided more long term advice to reduce the risk of further issues in years to come. So impressed were we that we are that we are going to use Brightside for our next service and for the future works. I recommend Brightside.

Mark came to service our boiler. He was very thorough and explained the checks as he was testing the appliance. After the service, he even offered advice on how to adjust settings for heating and hot water.
