Brightside Heating Ltd has changed its trading name to Brightside Heating Services Ltd as from 01.04.2017.

We offer a wide range of expert solutions for gas boilers, heating repair and servicing.

We can even diagnose some faults over the telephone, saving valuable time and money for our customers.

Established in 2001, a family run business, we have built a solid reputation throughout the Medway towns and surrounding areas, and we take pride in offering a one-stop-shop that you can rely on to be efficient, professional and competitively priced for the repair of your heating system.

As Gas Safe registered gas and central heating engineers, we can handle all types of gas boiler and heating system repairs and servicing, gas safety inspections for landlords etc, replacement radiators, cylinders, controls, power flushing and descaling, insurance emergency work and letting agencies.

We can also offer annual maintenance contracts which includes an annual service. See our options plans.

Brightside contacted me to tell me my boiler was due a service and took the booking. Paul telephoned prior to arrival and arrived fifteen minutes later as promised. Carried out the work in a clean and professional manner. Very happy with Paul and the service provided by Brightside. Payment is made after the work is complete which shows confidence in their service.

I contracted Brightside Heating Services Ltd about 3 years ago to install a new boiler. Because of the great quality of work, I was happy to accept their offer to do the annual inspection of the boiler, which they do the for the 3rd year in a row. Customer service always calls in advance to remind of the upcoming inspection and to agree on the date, time and price. Engineers are very friendly and polite. I'd want to mention Dave particularly, who is conducting the inspection for the 2nd year. Very happy with the services provided overall.

The office staff were professional and courteous. The engineer (Paul) came out quickly , was very polite and fixed the issue with the minimum of fuss and mess. He also explained what had happened and what he was doing which was both educational and set my mind at ease.

Fantastic - resolved tricky job that many others didn’t want to tackle

Dave was fantastic. On first meeting him you could tell instantly that no job would be a problem for him. He replaced a cartridge on a Burlington concealed shower unit, which was a bit of a tricky job. The numerous plumbers we contacted prior, just didn’t want to know or let us down as these units aren’t the easiest to work with apparently. Dave came across an issue which he took the time to come and discuss with me rather than put everything back and make excuses as to why it couldn’t be done. He worked his way round it and now we have a fully functioning hot shower again!! Can’t thank Dave enough. Even the office staff Anita and Gary were super helpful. Thank you

I used Brightside Heating to fix an issue with my boiler which was causing an intermittent loss of hot water. All work was discussed and agreed in advance, with time taken to explain why certain parts/services were necessary. All staff were very professional. Alan, who completed a power flush was particularly noteworthy. He took time to explain the process, was careful not to make a mess, provided updates, and was conscious to carry out only what was necessary. He came prepared having read details of previous work.

I had a problem with my hot water. Brightside Heating called me within 15 minutes after I had called my Saga Home Emergency Insurance. Adviser said that engineer is expected to attend to-day if possible. Engineer Stuart called at 17:00 and arrived at 17:30. Very polite, knew the problem, fixed problem within half an hour. Excellent service. Thoroughly recommend this Company.

Having had problems with my boiler since 16th December with 3 visits from British Gas and 3 new circuit boards my boiler was still not working properly. Called British Gas for the 4th time on Saturday 9th January to be told their engineers were on strike and they would send a contractor out to me.This is where Brightside come into the picture! Chris was so polite and helpful and found the problem in no time at all and it wasn’t a faulty circuit board. I would highly recommend Brightside Heating and am going to change my maintenance contract to this company in future

Had a leak in my heating system, called my insurance company for an emergency call-out which which Brightside Heating Services are a supplier. The engineer called to give me notice that her was on his way, when arrived he had his mask on and kept it on the entire time he was at my address. He explained what he was going to do before he done it and explained what he found and how he was going to repair the issue. Great service, would definitely use again.

Dave came out to get my toilet working . He arrived on time, wearing a mask. He was able to sort out it out in a rapid time, and when he was finished asked me to check it was working ,which I did and I was very happy with his work. This job was done through my insurance company, and at first, sent out a different company who did some work but the boiler was still playing up I eventually got an appointment with Brightside. Dave turned up on time, got straight on with the job after I told him the problem. Found the system needed a new 2 port valve of which he had one with him. he fitted the new valve sorted his stuff and paperwork and was gone All in 40 minutes Job done. No-fuss and heating has been fine ever since I will recommend keeping their number close to the boiler
